information is power. . .so let me educate you'all first hand. The strength of the US army is it's diversity in personel. The more diverse it is, the stronger it is. This is an army situated in almost every part of the world and wouldn't it be wise to have people of different ethnicity in it's ranks? One must really step out of the Nigerian mentality to understand it. As far as i am concerned it is free money. I get paid $3600 anually for speaking yoruba and another 1800 for hausa. I have never been asked to go back to Nigeria to interogate people or spy for the military. it's just what it is. . . . extra money. Being a part of the US army has been a privilege and an honor. I have traveled to countries i never thought possible, iraq. .afghanistan. . japan. . gwam. . .germany. . italy. . turkey etc all on the army bill. learnt things i never thought i'd know. . .graduated airborne school, meaning jumping out of planes. . .acquired a level 3 combatives status, meaning you might not want to f@!#$k with me. . .learnt to speak german for free, got a second degree paid for by the army and qualified as a horizontal engineer. The funny thing is, the sky is the limit. All you have to do is think it. . .it doesn't matter what it is. . .just think it and the army will make a reality for you. If you want to be an astronaut and you go to your chain of command and say i want to be an astronaut, and you can demonstrate the necessary drive. . .guess what? you will become an astronaut. so it irks me when i read crap from people who don't know what they are talking about.

money management; As said earlier, price can turn from a retracement to an expansion (usdjpy, nzdusd, chfjpy) and from an expansion to a retracement (usdcad) depending on what is happening the next time frame. just knowing direction of trend is not enough. one must plan for eventualities. before entering a trade, i plan for both expansions and retracements. if the next retracement or expansion point is let's say 500 pips, then i make sure i have more than enough to cover my bet. chfjpy and nzdusd have confirmed their downtrend and nzdusd effectively expanded to price 8504. if i had taken the trade, i would have entered at price 7545 and made sure i had 1500 pips to spare incase it did expand. but i did not because trade signals on weekly tend to eat up a lot of pips and take longer to hit target. i trade long term but weekly signals can be pip and time consuming.

Keep wondering, . . . . .It will always be a mystery to you. Bros the same setup on chfjpy is the same setup on nzdusd. The only difference is, one is on 4hr and the other is on weekly. but don't expect me to show you charts. i want people like you to keep scratching your heads and keep wondering. It must be eating you alive, thinking "how the heck does he know?" keep wondering.

Let the pips do the talking: Get ready to close out the audusd trade at the said tp, sit back, relax and wait for the next retracement. total profit in retracement pips so far for audusd is 400 and there are many more in store in the coming month. If you haven't guessed by now, all trades for this pair should be short until the said tp is achieved. Also, keep a close eye on usdcad, it is prepping up for another nice short. so if price gets to in-and-around 9678. sell for a tp of 9500.

Almighty gbpusd; as said weeks back, gu confirmed it's downtrend on the 22nd of june, retraced and formed lower lows on it's way down and it is now heading up to potentialy break the trendline formed by the lower lows. so how do we trade this? i have not entered this trade but i have plotted all my expansion points so that once price gets to in and around 16235, 16304 and 16351, i will sell 2 lots exiting one at price 16050 and wait for price to hopefully retrace. if it does no,t i still have one lot running. but traders who like to trade against trend and news will never let that happen (more pips for me anyway). it must surely retrace and i will simply enter again. eventual tp for Gbpusd is 15590.

Let the pips do the talking: Granted, gbpusd confirmed it's downtrend for a tp of 15590, it still does not look right. it has not fufilled all criteria. Just knowing where price is going eventually is not enough. dont be surprised that it might rebound at in-and-around 15946, but if it does not, then too bad for me for not taking the trade. there wil always be another opportuinity. Forex was here before me, and it will still be here after i've gone. That's part of the secret; discipline and patience.

trade direction usdjpy; this pair confirmed it's uptrend on the 28 of june and tp for that pair is 8200. but as expected, news can make life difficult for fx traders. NFP pushed price down to 7848 and guess what? i was jumping for joy. NFP news turned a 100 pips, with maybe 200 pip retracement potential profit to a 400 pip, with 800 pip retracement potential profit target (how delightful). upon reaching 7848 we quickly entered 2 more lots upon which we will exit one lot at price 8000 and hopefuly wait for it to retrace again. we will continue doing this until 8200 is met.

Let the pips do the talking; Be prepared for a nice one from this pair soon, give or take a day.

fx breakdown for the coming month; audusd confirmed it's downtrend on the 13th of may, retraced to it's 61.8, formed lower lows on it's way down, and broke the trendline formed by the lower lows. So, how do you trade this? you would enter the trade upon completion of the first retracement at price 10774 with two lots (i entered with four). you let price fall to 10536 and exit one lot leaving the other lot running. you have at the back of your mind that price, under normal circumstances, should retrace and form lower lows upon which we plot a complete downtrend confirmation, and wait for a break of the trendline ( much like what gbpusd is doing right now). upon the break of the trendline you plot your expansion points for possible re-entry, which we did on the 1st of july. we exited the new lot while still allowing the other lot to run free. we closed out the new lot at 10536 again and waited for another retracement, which it did to price 10800. we entered another lot which we will closed out at price 10536 again, while all our lots are running and still in the game. eventual tp for audusd is 10203.

Let the pips do the talking; once audusd gets to 10536, exit and wait hopefully for another retracement and leave the first lot running. lesson to learn; never ever trade against trend, no matter how sexy it looks. you never know when it is going to flip out on you.

now see, this is the kind of statements that tick me off. these are the things i keep saying newbies see that gets them into trouble. ok, to prove my point lets have a smackdown. stagger, odiaero, with your indicator strategy, pick pairs and put out trade directions for two months, compared with my price action. you must put out tp and lot size as well. you people just dont get it, we are talking about money. you might have it to throw around, but i guarantee you not everybody does, especialy in a country like nigeria, where the hope that forex will lead to eldorado. this is not the sport or politics section where you can come and say anything and no skin peel. there are thousands of people who follow what you say and you have to be careful with it. do you think it is a falacy that it is said that 95% of forex traders worldwide fail? but all of a sudden we have 95% of forex traders who are successful. anybody can come here and yell "yeeee seee ppiiiipppsss oooooh" making newbies think all is well, meanwhile boys de cry inside. i know this because i have done it before. well, i have put out my challenge. i dare you to take it. . . . . . .

I agree with you somewhat that crazy things are said here sometimes but I'm pretty sure you can encourage and correct without doing some of what you do. I have personally not really liked the idea of making calls but rather prefer to share ideas, tips and tricks. Making calls does nothing for anybody.

The most important thing to newbies is not calls and you know it. For the semi experienced like myself, I know the importance of taking ownership of my decisions, so calls from an experienced trader like yourself also does nothing for me. So why not do what helps most people.

That is why when i make a call i also make sure a reveal the logic behind my call. it is up to whoever wants to follow the call to follow the rules implicitly.

Well, to better make you understand why i "knock what others do". I have been in this game for eleven plus years, and i have seen what "other peoples" opinions can do to newbies in this game. I have seen some crazy, (oh, my bad. cant use that anymore), incorrect and potentialy damaging suggestions here and a newbie might be lured into following these suggestions. So, to prevent this i have to be blunt and direct. So yeah, call me arrogant or whatever but you cannot deny the obvious truth. we are talking about money you know.
