RichDad1: There should be some level of "Healthy Competition" among the states and regions. The followers need to ask their leaders salient questions. Check their IGR and Federal allocations, compare their level of development with other states on the same scale. There should be no competition among the states and regions. The sole job of governance is to better the lives of it's populace, not compete with other states or regions. |

When you surround yourself in poverty for so long, you'll start to think it is the same for everyone. I understand. God will assist you. Anyway, I already have three boys which is why we are thinking of adopting a girl. Plus, if it does happen, she will not be growing up in Nigeria. God forbid. |

I hope you realize that there is no way Nigeria will ever be one with the way Nigerian's think and do business. |

Bevista: Subsidy removal does not automatically translate to price deregulation. --- The government will still regulate prices and adjust it based on the landing and ex-depot price of the product. Prices will not be left completely to market forces. Then what's the point? Who pays for the end price. The Government? The consumer? |

Why on earth would someone go through another persons laptop without permission?? There is even a bigger issue at hand. If Nigerians can't ask pertinent question's on small issues as this, what do you think would happen as regards issues that affect our daily political lives? Nigeria is probably the most amazing country on planet earth. If i were the minister for education, i would introduce a new subject in primary institution called "thought process 101". We need to start training people on how to think in Nigeria. |

I still wonder how Nigerian's think i swear. They never seem to ask logical and normal questions. Why would anyone just pick up someone else's laptop to use without their permission? This should have been the first question asked. And do you know the odds of this fake drama happening? There are less than 2 million members on NL nationwide, so, out of more than 120 million Nigerians, the guy hooks up with the daughter of another NL member, leaves his laptop to go shopping, the dad uses the laptop without consent, and happens to discover another NL member's moniker who's been insulting him. NIGERIAN'S, USE YOUR BRAINS. It is like their brains are wire differently from everyone else's on the planet. |

MIKOLOWISKA: define normal. a society where men kiss in public or where youth disrespect their elders. one man's meat is another's otapiapia Lol. . .i'd rather live in that "abnormal" society where true freedom exists, than your "normal" society where everyone is shackled from birth. Where tomorrow, though not assured, is pre defined than where you don't know what the phuck is going to happen the next minute. And respect? i pity you. What condition has all your respect for you leaders put you in? They are raping you blind and you can't say anything because of respect. In normal societies, If you behave yourself they'll respect you. If you don't, they'll give you what you deserve. |

laptopsale: And you think you said anything sensible in this junk of a comment you heaped up there, wealthy and kind-hearted people all over the world indulge in charity to share the little they have with those in need. You are right about that. But, here is the difference. Government officials and their families don't go about donating everything under the sun to people. Reason is they want to avoid question's of where these funds are coming from. And rightly so. They either set up an NGO or a foundation to handle things like this. Nigerian's don't know what the standard is because they've never experienced it. I ask again, where is the funds coming from? Fayose gave car gifts to teachers recently; was that part of the state budget? Nigerian's never seem to ask the right questions. |
Politics › Re: Why Nigeria should remove Subsidy now. Saudi Arabia & UAE have dropped Subsidy by bidemi12(m): 12:11pm On Jan 09, 2016 |
Bevista: Do you have any contrary information to the one advanced? --- According to PPPRA, the current landing cost of PMS is lower than N80/ltr, so the recommended OMP (open market price) of N86 has no subsidy input. In fact, I understand there is a negative subsidy of around N1.50, since the ex-depot price is about N84.50. You are missing the point on why subsidy removal is important. Once it is removed, market forces come into play and once that happens, there is no way to know how much prices at the pumps would be. Absolutely no way. |

Politics › Re: Why Nigeria should remove Subsidy now. Saudi Arabia & UAE have dropped Subsidy by bidemi12(m): 9:48pm On Jan 08, 2016 |
Bevista: There is another fundamental difference between removing subsidy right now and doing so back in 2012, which most people are not thinking about. --- Back in 2012, subsidy removal would have resulted in an instant increase in pump price of PMS from N67 to N141, whereas any subsidy removal right now will have no immediate effect on pump price of PMS. --- So, from a psychological standpoint, Nigerians are less likely to resist subsidy removal right now the way they did back in January 2012. Pray tell, how did you arrive at that bold statement? |

Ahead of tomorrow's rerun election in Southern Ijaw LGA,the state is currently in serious tension.Military gunboats were spotted along the creeks, possibly to calm any violence in the state that might arise tomorrow.

cosby02: Keep masturbating I swear, i really don't understand how Nigerian's think. A lot of Nigerian's deserve to be flogged early in the morning, and late at night before they go to bed. Maybe, just maybe it will wake them up mentally. Instead of people to be asking where is all these "donation" funds coming from, they are busy being blinded by hunger and frustration. The normal way to conduct these kind of selfless service is through NGO's, or through a foundation. My question is, how is it that some public officials are able to afford this? Where is the money coming from. This is the reason i advocate for an effective tax system in Nigeria. With taxation, your true source of income is seen clearly and is made public for all to see. Nigerian's really need their heads examined. |

A guy meets a lady on social media, barely introducing himself, he would start demanding for pictures of her even when there is a display picture of hers available there. IamLEGEND1: it's girls like you who have virtually no other redeemable qualities but suddenly jump on the #TeamVirgin bandwagon that have ruined the whole thing.Thinking that presenting urself as a virgin will magically replenish ur tattered image.
barring religion, which i can relate to as i am a christian, their is absolutely zero logic behind abstinence as long as you're still a living and fully functional human.
So if u say you're a virgin because ur religion demands that you stay that way, then that's perfect. But to say you're doing it coz it's what makes a woman complete is lunacy at its finest.
Upgrade ur school of thought, this is not the middle ages where a woman risked being stoned to death for losing her virginity before marriage.
and where do guys fit into all of this? our virginity doesn't count right?
and I don't have a sister. old woman like you subscribing to petty sentiments to make ur point. Bro's, who you be sef? See as logic de flow like water. See as my medulla oblongata de turn from all this common sense. You too much joo. |

Lilimax: So true! I still maintain that only a foolish girl will divorce her husband because he cheated on her This is what my professor friend calls 'suffer mentality'. Any man or woman who's been cheated on should divorce that spouse ASAP. The only reason Nigerian women take it is because of poverty and the unknown future. Try that shiit in a normal society, and that man or woman will be paying a heavy price for it. |
