I thought the training (for first set of crew) is usually before delivery of the equipment. I wish to see another massive offensive similar to that before the 2015 elections

Those where the T72 & BMP-1, old era soviet hardware. Even the terrorist can operate them without any manual’s grin

The SH-5 self-propelled howitzers are very complex/very tactical hardware to operate. The STI and VT4 shouldn’t take so much time, I think the NA HQ are just waiting for the right weather and terrain to lunch the major offensive.

These system are new and somehow complex, our personnel’s needs to be trained effectively so these hardwares perform well and do not fall into wrong hands.
They are still undergoing training, these hardwares are still in Bauchi State.

Also why is he "unnamed"??

His a military personnel, he will face a court-Marshal first.
Then it will be decided by the court marshal to spend the jail term in military prison or handed over to the police. That’s the way it’s been done in the military even if it’s a murder case.

OPERATION HAIL STORM 2: SCORES OF TERRORISTS KILLED BY AIR TASK FORCE OF OPERATION LAFIYA DOLE IN LAKE CHAD AREA OF BORNO STATE

1. Several terrorists have been neutralized and their hideouts and logistics structures destroyed by the Air Task Force (ATF) of Operation LAFIYA DOLE at Tumbuma Baba, one of the Island settlements on the fringes of the Lake Chad in Borno State, which serves as a logistics hub for Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) elements. This was achieved in air strikes executed on 29 September 2020 under the ongoing subsidiary Operation HAIL STORM 2 after Human Intelligence (HUMINT) reports indicated that several ISWAP fighters and some of their leaders had converged in some structures concealed under the thick vegetation of the area, preparing to launch an attack.

2. The ATF therefore dispatched a force package of Nigerian Air Force (NAF) fighter jets and helicopter gunships to engage the location. The attack aircraft scored devastating hits on the settlement, killing several terrorists and destroying their structures.

3. The Armed Forces of Nigeria, operating in concert with other security agencies and stakeholders, will sustain its efforts to rid the North East zone of all terrorists and other criminal elements.

Pretty even, Armenia has also lost 130 tanks and armored vehicles, 25 air defense systems and close to 2k killed and wounded (source is from the Azerbaijani government so might be exaggerated but footages being released are somewhat supporting this.
