QuietMynd:But that's the truth, we have corrupt leaders, politicians and even our top military brass are not left behind. The defence sector has received a huge boost in terms of budget allocation over the years, so I wouldn't put the large blame on them. Although we haven't gotten there but he might get there if we continue allocating more into defence and also make sure that this funds are judiciously spent. Now to the issue of recent failures/set-backs in military operations both in the N.E & N.W is to be large blame on top military leaders and am thinking they're way too comfortable sitting on past military successes. For me have factors some reasons behind recent military failure in Nigeria & Sahara at large. Extremist Group Resilience/Evolving Groups like Boko Haram and ISGS have demonstrated the ability to adapt/evolve rapidly and maintain a presence despite military campaigns, causing ongoing instability and casualties. We've seeing BHT using qaudcaptors to shell F.O.B and for surveillance purposes. The Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) has also used drones for ISR to aid in their attacks. In July 2022, in the town of Gubio, Nigeria, ISWAP used a surveillance drone to survey the location of a Nigerian military convoy before ambushing them. A month later, Islamic State Greater Sahara (ISGS) also carried out a drone-assisted attack on security forces in Mali Military Corruption and Inefficiency Reports of corruption within the Nigerian military is not new and its ongoing massively, including allegations of misappropriated funds and a lack of accountability, undermine the effectiveness of counter-terrorism operations. Coordination Challenges Efforts to coordinate regional counter-terrorism efforts, including the involvement of international forces, have been hampered by conflicting priorities and a lack of clear communication. The recent conflict shift from the N.E. to N.W. might have a significant impact to this ongoing war in terms of troops re-location wich is not enough due to low turn up in recruitment, same goes to war machines & equipment etc. Recent Surge in soldiers Morale due wages & Standard of living I left this at the bottom place because some folks here might not take this factor seriously or important. Recently Sahara Reporters once posted massive resignation in the NA non-commission ranks due to bad wages and standard of living and even basic fighting equipments, This not a news anymore has people from the South-East/South region are not going the N.A anymore and the C.D.S. have been lamenting that the soldiers are under paid. No fewer than 196 Nigerian soldiers have tendered their resignation letters to Taoreed Lagbaja, the Chief of Army Staff, citing corruption, low morale, and deteriorating security conditions; "https://businessday.ng/news/article/196-nigerian-soldiers-resign-over-low-morale-official-says-service-voluntary/ " There more factors like "the NA doctrine" which ought to be restructured to suit current challenges, DISCIPLINE, Air combat support & air interdiction and TRAINING to suit current challenges. |

TROOPS UNLEASH DEVASTATING ONSLAUGHT, SETTING TERRORISTS IN DISARRAY, RECOVER MASSIVE ARSENAL OF WEAPONS, BOMBS, AMMUNITION In a relentless and ferocious crackdown on terrorism, gallant troops of the Nigerian Army have once again demonstrated their unyielding resolve to obliterate terrorist enclaves, dealing a devastating blow to their operations. The latest offensives, executed with precision and overwhelming firepower, sent the terrorists into a state of utter disarray, forcing them to abandon a massive cache of arms, ammunition, and explosives as they fled for their lives. On Saturday, 1 March 2025, troops deployed in Bama Local Government Area of Borno State launched a ruthless and coordinated assault on a well-fortified terrorist stronghold following credible intelligence that insurgents were regrouping to unleash havoc on villages around Fallujah and its environs. The ensuing fierce gun battle raged for hours ppas troops overpowered the terrorists, neutralizing several of them while systematically dismantling explosives laid enroute their camp. In the aftermath of the onslaught, troops recovered an astonishing cache of deadly weapons, including: - 11 Rocket-Propelled Grenade (RPG) bombs - 760 rounds of 7.62mm linked ammunition - 220 rounds of 12.7mm linked ammunition - One AK-47 rifle - 440 rounds of 7.62mm x 54mm ammunition The troops also conducted a thorough clearance operation in Unguwan Abdullahi, a terrorist-infested settlement, where they annihilated all terrorist life-support structures and unearthed stockpiles of food items buried underground, depriving the terrorists of crucial sustenance. As troops advanced ahead of Garin Fallujah, they engaged the terrorists in a blistering firefight, forcing them into a chaotic retreat. In the process, a notorious terrorist commander, Abba Alai (Amirul Khahid of Alafa) a high-value target who had long been on security watchlists, was neutralized. Weapons recovered in the operation are: - One AK-47 rifle - One AK-47 rifle magazine - 23 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition - One radio set - A DSHK heavy machine gun barrel - One motorcycle - Assorted medical supplies The troops further cleared Ukuba Forest capturing alarming assortment of heavy weaponry and military-grade equipment, including: - Two General-Purpose Machine Guns (GPMG) - Mowag armored tank engine - Heavy-duty vehicle engine block with components - One QJC W85 anti-aircraft gun - Three light machine guns - One M60 machine gun - Two RPG launcher tubes - One QJC cradle - One HK21 machine gun - One G3 rifle magazine - A fabricated 60mm mortar tube - Three Improvised Explosive Device (IED) cylinders In a separate operation troops strategically positioned in Gwoza Local Government Area as part of a blocking force to prevent insurgents from escaping Sambisa Forest delivered yet another crushing blow on the terrorists. The coordinated offensive in Gobara village saw the insurgents abandon their weapons and fled in panic. A meticulous search of the area led to the discovery of: - 57 rounds of 12.7mm ammunition - 30 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition - Three AK-47 rifle magazines - A locally fabricated dane gun - Two prototype firearms suspected to be used for terrorists' training. In a heartwarming development, troops also rescued an elderly woman who had been held hostage by the terrorists for 10 years. Meanwhile, acting on credible intelligence, troops in Chibok Local Government Area of Borno state stormed a notorious kidnappers' hideout in Shirkaki village, where they apprehended a prime suspect who had long been on the security watchlist. The swift and precise operation led to the recovery of: - Two AK-47 rifles - Two AK-47 rifle magazines - One pump-action shotgun - Four rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition - Six cartridges. In Katsina State, at Unguwan Baki village, Faskari Local Government Area, terrorists attempting an attack were met with superior firepower, forcing them to flee into the forest, abandoning their motorcycles. Also, in a rare but telling development, a high-ranking terrorist commander in Jibia local government area of Katsina State voluntarily surrendered to troops, handing over two AK-47 rifles. He also freed 10 captives, including seven women and three children, signaling his decision to abandon a life of terror and embrace peace. In Zamfara State, troops engaged another group of terrorists, neutralizing one while the rest scattered in confusion, leaving behind two motorcycles. Troops deployed to Niger State equally engaged terrorists in a pitched battle, compelling them to flee into the dense forests of Dakwala and Chikuba. Troops subsequently launched a sweeping clearance operation, recovering 36 abandoned motorcycles and demolishing all terrorist hideouts in the area. In Baruten Local government Area of Kwara State, troops stormed a known kidnapps’ enclave in Karunji village, forcing the criminals to flee in terror on sighting the advancing troops, leaving their captives behind. The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede while commending the troops’ resilience, has reiterated his resolve to make their welfare a priority, adding that they deserve the best for their selfless service. He also affirmed that, the Nigerian Army remains unyielding in its resolve to eradicate terrorism and criminality across the nation. Faithful007:Nope you should shut your rotten mouth. All what you wrote or claimed Russia broke was caused by the same United States, especially the Nuclear deal and the cease fire deal were all orchestrated and triggered by the United States. President Trumph has come to the fact that America as caused alot of proxy war, lavished tax payers money sponsoring uncessary wars and even indirectly funding terrorists groups through voluntary organizations like the USAID etc.. Ukraine citizens are only a scape goat and a arrogant dictator who think the world revolves all over his ass. JD Vance is telling Zelensky the honest truth wish "Mr arrogant" could not swallow, he comes to the United States to steal Task payers money has if its a chicken change. Past American presidents and woke EU presidents have used Ukraine to paint Russia bad and Zelensky was the perfect tool they'll want to use. ALL THANKS TO PRESIDENT TRUMPH, WE WOULD HAVE BEEN INTO A WWIII OR A FAR WORSE WAR BETWEEN NUCLEAR NATIONS Here is a shot video about the genesis of the Russia-Ukraine war narrated by an American.
Again Russia has never broken any deal, be specific in the deals Russia broke and I'll prove to you that all was a trap that would later lead to future catastrophe, Past American president has lead Russia into signing deals that would be systematically broken by a third party leading to a conflict like what we have in Ukraine today. |
Fidha254:Yeap because human senses and mindset is channelled to believe that they must think in such a way or act in such a way. Alot of shit happens behind scenes and they come to the press as if everything is okay. President Trumph as no time to fake things and make you feel happy even in the face of a press conference. Billions and lives are been wasted for this war for someone's ego. Zelesnsky is proud, arrogant, egoistic and unappreciative dictator, His actions and decisions as lead to millions of lives lost and still counting, billions of dollars lost and embezzled by him and is corrupt administration. Talking about the fact that you say; "you can't believe the US is now a Strongman's country". This is a long known fact and it amuses me you're just realizing that now, Let me add to the list which is China and Russia also. The rest are just pussy. I quite agree with you that the war might sorawn up in the nearest future, if it happens it will be bad for every country involved but it will brme far worst for Ukraine. |

Toju200:Troops Eliminate Bandit Leader Hassan Nabamamu While Attempting to Escape in Zamfara Troops of Operation FANSAN YANMA have neutralized notorious bandit leader Kachallah Hassan Nabamamu, also known as Hassan Dantawaye, after he attempted to escape and disarm a soldier while being transported to Gusau town, Zamfara State. Zagazola Makama report that Nabamamu, a long-time terror figure in Tsafe and Mada local government areas, was captured during a fierce gun battle in Mada, Tsafe LGA on February 27. He was being transported from Tsafe to Gusau in the early hours of February 28, when he tried to overpower a soldier, prompting the troops to neutralize him immediately. Additionally, troops ambushed and killed two other top bandit commanders, Na-Allah and Dogo Basullube, who sustained injuries in combat before succumbing during the military operation. Bandits Mobilizing for Reprisal Attack in Tsafe Intelligence reports indicated that a large group of heavily armed bandits has moved out from Danjibga, Keta, and Kwaren Ganuwa forests and is advancing toward Tsafe town, allegedly planning a reprisal attack following Nabamamu’s death. Military official, who spoke anonymously, assured that the armed forces were fully prepared to repel any assault. “We have received credible intelligence that one of the bandit commanders, Bakin Malam, is mobilizing fighters for a revenge attack. However, we are ready for them. Tsafe will be their graveyard. We are closing in from all directions, and they won’t see us coming.” The military has reinforced its presence in Tsafe and surrounding areas, deploying additional troops and air support to counter any insurgent movement. Nabamamu had long been one of the most feared bandit leaders in Zamfara, orchestrating mass kidnappings, extortions, and deadly attacks on civilians and security forces. He was a known associate of other notorious warlords and reportedly controlled over 100 heavily armed fighters. Over the years, his gang was responsible for countless attacks on villages along the Gusau-Tsafe highway, including targeted assaults on communities such as Makera, Chediya, Agama Lafiya, Singawa, Yalwa, and Rekebu. He was also linked to the imposition of illegal taxes on communities in Tsafe LGA, forcing residents to pay huge sums under the threat of death. With his neutralization, security experts believe that bandit operations in Zamfara will suffer a major setback, as he was a key figure coordinating attacks across multiple locations. The Nigerian military, through Operation FANSAN YANMA, has intensified its operations across Zamfara, Katsina, Sokoto, and Kebbi states in recent weeks. The coordinated land and air offensive has led to the elimination of several high-profile bandit leaders and the rescue of numerous kidnapped victims. Source: @Zagazola |

Troops Capture Notorious Bandit Leader Kachallah Hassan Nabamamu in Zamfara The Nigerian Army troops of Operation FANSAN YANMA have captured Kachallah Hassan Nabamamu, a notorious bandit kingpin responsible for terrorizing communities in Mada, Tsafe, and other parts of Zamfara State. Zagazola Makama, a Counter Insurgency Expert and Security Analyst in the Lake Chad Region gathered from security sources that the operation, conducted by troops of Operation FANSAN YANMA, took place on February 27 at Hegin Mahe, Ruwan Bore in Mada town, Gusau Local Government Area. Troops launched a well-coordinated ambush, leading to a fierce gun battle in which several bandits were neutralized while others escaped with gunshot wounds. The kingpin initially fled into nearby homes but was pursued and captured alive by the security forces. Hours after his arrest, his gang members, led by Bakin Malam, launched a reprisal attack on Chediya, Bamamu, and Makera villages, issuing threats to dislodge residents if Nabamamu was not released. The attack forced many residents to flee their homes in fear. However, The Nigerian troops swiftly responded with superior firepower, repelling the bandits and preventing further breach of security. Additional both Air and Land troops were deployed to secure the area and prevent further incursions, while intelligence operations continue to track down fleeing gang members. Nabamamu, originally from Tsafe, Gidan Alhaji Kaduna, started as an Almajiri before attending Model Primary School, Tsafe. He later relocated to Bamamu village, where he engaged in cattle rearing. For over 30 years, he was involved in armed robbery and later became one of the first Fulani men to openly embrace large-scale banditry in Zamfara. He first gained notoriety after leading an armed robbery attack on the home of Sani Dan Kyaso, orchestrating multiple murders in the process. Security sources describe him as deadlier than the infamous bandit leader Ado Alero, often warning other criminals such as Dan Isuhu to stay out of his self acclaimed territory. Nabamamu commanded a large group of fighters, carrying out brutal attacks on villages including Makera, Chediya, Agama Lafiya, Singawa, Yalwa, Rekebu, Fegen Baza, Danmarke, and Sabon Fege, as well as locations near Setraco Company in Tsafe town. His gang was also responsible for numerous kidnappings along the Gusau-Tsafe highway, turning the route into a deadly zone for travelers. Nabamamu worked closely with other top bandit leaders, including Bakin Malam, Kachallah Mal Tukur, and Kachallah Baldu, controlling at least 100 heavily armed fighters. He imposed millions of naira in levies on villages in Tsafe LGA, ruthlessly punishing communities that failed to pay. Security sources revealed that Nabamamu had deep ties with weapons traffickers, often securing arms from suppliers linked to foreign terror networks. Intelligence reports indicate that he was involved in coordinating supply chains that provided sophisticated firearms to criminal groups operating in Zamfara, Katsina, Sokoto, and Niger states. His gang was also notorious for using informants within local communities to track movements of security forces and high-value kidnap targets. Investigations suggest that he had an extensive financial network, using ransom proceeds to fund operations and maintain strong alliances with other bandit groups. The arrest of Nabamamu is expected to significantly weaken the operational network of bandit groups in Zamfara. It is believed that dismantling his leadership structure could lead to the rescue of kidnapped victims still held by his gang. Military operations under Operation FANSAN YANMA have intensified in recent weeks, with coordinated land and air offensives eliminating several high-profile bandits and rescuing hostages from their enclaves in Zamfara, Sokoto, Katsina, and Kebbi states.
