Frankrobbn1: Bieber78,
Sorry about the outcome of your application brother.
From the GCMS note you shared, the Visa officer is clearly pointing at your SOP. First, simply start by explaining why your proposed program in Canada is reasonable considering the high cost of international students and difficulty of undertaking a foreign education i.e why leaving your family members for a very long period of time in pursuit of academic excellence. Why you decide to complete this course of study in Canada rather than Nigeria, that would not warrant paying exorbitant international students fee.
Secondly, present a justifiable reasons to why you should leave Canada at the completion of your studies. Here your home ties comes into play, Absence of adequate ties to your home country can impact chances adversely as this may raise doubts on your intent to return home after completing your studies. Putting into consideration that you're still at a very young age 19years old, having an established family in your home country with ownership of properties and other assets will be sufficient to prove family ties. Explain extensively how your intended program will be of paramount benefit to you as a person, to your family business (how you decide to take up the business to a preeminent height in the nearest future) and also how it will be of good impact to your nation as a whole.
Do the above in your next application and you will smile with victory.
All the best! Thanks for the info bro I guess It because I arranged my application and did everything myself I didn't even include a SOP I have now taken into consideration everything u said I plan to submit on 2nd july hope am not too late? |

Frankrobbn1: Bieber78,
If I understand your question clearly, you said your undergraduate tuition was only specified on your LOA, while room and board wasn't indicated, but you filled just your tuition and left room and board and others blank, while funds available to you, you indicated just 10KCAD.
Most schools don't indicate funds for room and board. But as stated by CIC, applicants must show funds for tuition and living expenses of 10,000CAD for their first year of studies in Canada and must certify that funds will be made available for the subsequent years.
In your case now, you're expected to fill TUITION + ROOM AND BOARD + OTHERS = FUNDS AVAILABLE FOR YOUR STAY. Leaving room and board + others doesn't make sense and Indicating just 10KCAD as funds availability for your first year is wrongly filled, Its safe to show funds in excess than below the range of your expenses in Canada. Your sponsor Bank statement will suffice and I hope the visa officer will overlook this. All the best! Guys in my admission letter( acceptance letter). from Manitoba university undergraduate . the school only wrote the tuition fee for one year they did not write fees for room and board
In my study permit form I have already submitted ,under room and board section I did not put any money under room and board because it wasn't in my admission letter . but under funds available for stay I put slightly above the money required by CIC (10k and above). Did i make a mistake? |

jnyuwa02: This is the least of your worries. The school on your IRCC forms indicated how much you need yearly for room and board and tuition. VOs know how to determine from that and your submitted bank account, the funds available for your stay. One year and subsequent years. Many people have been approved who put as funds available to them, the years of the complete year of program. Many also have been approved who put as funds available to them, the cost of only one year of their program. Best wishes! Sorry sir for disturbing ,but am really nervous Because under tuition section i put 12,000cad and in the funds available for stay section I put 12,000cad instead of adding my tuition and my room and board for a year and that is 24,000 cad and putting it in funds available for stay Though my parents have good SOA,(26m and 17m) the VO might think that 12,000 cad is the only funds available to me |

Frankrobbn1: OFFICIALAEL, You need to show proof of funds for your first year of studies not for the entire period of stay in Canada. So while filling the IMM form your tuition should be for your first year not for the whole program. Room and board can be 10,000CAD, while others should be 2,000CAD...... Funds available for your stay in Canada should be the total amount of your tuition, room and board and others = Funds available for your stay. But, I prefer adding 2KCAD extra to the funds available for my stay after adding up the above figure. Be guided properly.
All the best! But bro when filling the CIC forms I only saw tuition and funds available for stay I put 12000 for tuition fees and under funds available for stay I put 12,000 |

We used both used thesame agent and we both have little amount in our account so our agent used his company account as our third party sponsor
Now my question is can the embassy find out me and my friend used thesame sponsor ( although I submitted my application yesterday and my friend submitted today)
And if they find out can we be refused? |
