MICHEAL346: you don't even need an heat transfer machine or any expensive ish, you can customize on tee shirts using just an iron, inkjet printer, a heat transfer paper, and silicone paper to start with first. I have the video to instruct you if you want it let me know I really need it. Kindly share Thanks |

Thanks, I will first go for the T-shirts branding and later get the DI machine. Good advice bro Stephenomozzy: I'll advice you do T-shirt printing and item customization plates and those other stuffs that can be used as souvenirs or gift items by students and others.
DI printing is likewise good, but patronage is mostly from establishments/organizations as compared to the former which individuals can use for personal and organizational needs.
Not to discourage, but if you're going for the DI itself, PLEASE GET A MACHINE FROM A RELIABLE AND TRUST WORTHY SOURCE OOO.. nothing is as frustrating as your machine breaking down and needing repairs/servicing very so often.
Also, I THINK YOU CAN DO BOTH BUSINESSES.
Major on the one you know is a hotter cake in the environment, acquire the machine and materials, then BECOME A MIDDLE MAN IN THE OTHER BUSINESS. get customers and outsource the job after adding your own profit of course.
All the best.. May the stars guide you |

Between Dextron III and T-IV Transmition Fluid, which one should I use for my Camry 2000 Transmition Gear Which one of this two will give me a better result GAZZUZZ: I do not think your engine mounts are bad, but if bad they do not cost that much for a replacement. You should look at the following.
Service IACV. Idle control valve.
Clutch pressure plate and disk
Replace transmission.
For the transmission i have one in stock at a reasonable price .

Good job being done here Oga GAZZUZZ, I have some questions that I need your enlightenment, 1. Please can you give a name of any Good Brand of oil that you can recommend for either full synthetic or mineral, and which one is the best between the two. 2. And Again, is it possible to change the brand of oil someone is using for a particular car before to a new one, and if possible is there any side effect to this. 3. If someone want to buy a new shock absorber, which one can you recommend between the new one and tokunbo and must it be buy with a spring. 4. Which gear oil is good for a Toyota Camry 2000 model. Thanks in anticipation as I'm waiting for your response. GAZZUZZ: You must not use mobil1. Search for any good brand of engine oil with the 5w30 weight. Don't be deceived , there are only two recommend oils it's either full synthetic or mineral. That semi is a scam.
Good luck |

bisitopi: Oga. U can't compare V6 engine with V4 engine. Pls do ur verification well before buy any vehicle. Do not listening to bar parlour or road side mechanics, V4 engine is fuel economy. For business or moving goods around Toyota sienna 2001 to 2003 will be okay. Good luck Ok, thanks |

Nyceguy92: You are about the only person who has given the OP a response that is very useful and direct to the issues of interest.
Most people on Nairaland jump in to comment on posts they know nothing about and before digesting the topic.
I would advise the OP to go for a Sienna, especially since he intends to use it for business. They are rugged and highly rated.
Fuel consumption, like you said, depends on a lot of factors. It's all about maintenance. After all, people still drive 4.7 liters and V8 cars.
Or how much fuel does one expect to use on a 100km trip for the car to pass as a non- fuel-guzzler? It's all relative.
The purpose mostly determines the choice. Will definitely do that. Thanks |

Fentanyl: get the Sienna, those earlier V6s were prone to oil sludge so be sure to maintain the engine appropriately and you would be fine
nurey owns one of them, seek his opinion Thanks Baba, I really appreciate. Will definitely look into this. Please can you help sharing Nurey contact, how can I get him |
Car Talk › Re: Toyota Sienna Or Camry, Which One To Go For by Bigade(op): 4:37pm On Apr 16, 2020 |
kawkab: There is a reason why Toyota Sienna is the Vehicle of Choice for Long Distance Executive Shuttle in Nigeria.
Jokes and Sentiments aparts transporters have tried other MiniVans Viz Honda Odyssey, Mercedes R Class/Series, Nissan Quest, Kia Sedona, VW Routan, Chrysler Town and Country etc, but they have not gotten the same results they get from the three generations of Siennas Minivans. Even the Mercedes Benz Sprinter is struggling to match up with the Toyota Hiace for Inter City Mass Transit.
Back to the OP, since you intend using the Vehicle for moving between Lagos to Ijebu Ode and other City around, the Sienna would be your best bet (you also mentioned you intend picking passengers to make up for fuel cost).
I don't think you should be scared about the high fuel consumption mentioned by some persons here. Fuel consumption is relative to engine size and several other factors (nature of driving, type of oil, tire pressure etc). It is erroneous to say that the Sienna is a fuel guzzler.
If finally you get one, please go through Nairaland to get information about proper car maintenance, maintenance intervals and the fluids to use. This would do you a lot of good and keep your Sienna in good shape.
For 1.3m - 1.55m you should be able to get a direct Toks 1999 to 2001 Sienna with 3.0l 2MZ engine (750k-950k for Nigeria used, depending on the state). 1.8m - 2.2m for the 2004-2006 Sienna 3.3l 3MZ engine (1.4m - 1.6m for Nigeria used).
If you are buying a used one, make sure you go with a good mechanic for pre-purchase inspection, if it's Toks kindly do a comprehensive VIN check - CarGuide here should be able to help you out with this.
Mind you, I used a 99 Sienna for 10 years and I am currently using two (2004 LE and 2008 LE)
All the best. Thanks for your time to bring out this comprehensive details. I really appreciate. I will think and digest this. |

eRex: I would have said sienna cos of space but hey... Check it out.. it not like u want to go fully into commercial....
I used a Mazda MPV for similar purposes but then I noticed that am always forced to carrying passengers to augment fuel purchase... And when I don't get to see passenger am almost crying.. I am always on the for full loaded car... 7 passengers... Thus exposed to more terrible passengers and also bustop agberos.. Even when I have to go on personal outing with immediate family i still have to consider the fuel implication. I eventually sold it and got a drop light and I just needed 4 passengers on ever trip. The respect of car being a private car is dre from the passengers.. no agbero nonsense from bustop... Yes I was not making that much money as when I was driving MPV but I got my fuel cost. I still can drive for pleasure...
It's however your call... You will need to weigh it on both sides What a lovely write up, you have said it all. I think I will look into your suggestions. |

I want to get a car because I do travel alot for my business, I short distance though, from Lagos to Ijebu Ode, Ijebu Ode to Ibadan, like so on. I am thinking of getting a car for smooth movement, and likewise I can be carrying passenger along with me for the cost of fuel. And as well planning to venture into raw food business using the car to carry the goods from buying point to selling point.
So my question is, which one should I go for in either Sienna first generation (1998 to 2003) or Camry (1999-2001).
I am looking at buying Nigeria used but car are of the same price in Lagos right now. But am thinking of will the Sienna wouldn't be giving me issue, because I can hear some people saying the Sienna do give issue.
Please I want people that has first hand information on both vehicles to enlighten me, the people that have used it or mechanics that deals with it.
I am looking forward for a great advice. Thanks |
