my dear. Scary thing is that people that did first interview the day we had exco chat have done medicals. Dunno how the process works

U see my brothr, StanbicIBTC sabi humble man ehn! I wl advice U jst sit n watch as D whole event unfolds cos we dnt hv power here 2 change anyhthin, so workin up yourself ovr ds isnt worth it. Ther was a time I was workin up myself buh dt dint change anythin, now I hv learnt 2 B patient n jst watch as D events unfolds.

Buh 1 thing I keep thankin GOD for is dt I hvnt received regret mail, I suggest U do same.

Ds is my story:
Assessmt: 1st April
Interview/Exco chat: 29th April
Documentatn: 30th April
Medical: Hopeful
Prop Remuneratn: Hopeful
Offer Letter: Hopeful
In summary, I hv been waitin 4 medicals for more thn 3 mnth now.

Eventually, we wl both hv course 2 laff uncontrolaby after receivin our offer letters...rmember ther is always lite @ D end of D tunnel, jst keep D faith...

until pre-offer letter comes out but by his grace but I guess I failed the eye test during medicals cos I am short sighted and as a result couldnt read it but I am hopeful

Glory be to God, I got my offer letter mail this morning 10th August. I was first contacted for an assessment test on July 1st at Walter Carrington and today its all testimony. I want to encourage everyone here to be hopeful and pray more, yours too will come in Jesus name. I have been following this thread a long time but am one of those who only choose to read comments (maybe that will change now) and I must confess you guys are doing a great job. My pple had an invite for their test recently and passed and was told I would be invited shortly for interview but nothing yet. Any enquiries in the same shoes , this was early this July for marketing role. Just want to know what their recruitment timeline is like and if anyone has had Interview afterwards?

I got similar e-mail on D 2nd day of my interview/exco chat n sent them ASAP n I thought it means success n medical invite will come soonest...That was more than 2 months ago, I have been waiting ever since...

Aint trying to be pessimistic n all that buh I think I should just share my experience, who knows yours could be different. Best of luck sha...

Trust me if there's no present vacancy,they won't call for Medicals and after Medicals there are always approvals,in other places av worked I waited for 1month minimum oh,some other guys waited for like 8months.When you have gone for Medicals,they open a file for you and call on a file when there's a vacant position & so on.
So I think maybe they wanna clear those unattended files before sending people for Medicals

I understand, no vacancy, no medicals and all that...
Buh can U explain this; why still conduct test when they are yet to sort out the ones on their hands?

This is my take; for them to still be conducting test while they have a lot of peeps still waiting for their response after interview/exco can mean two things...

1. There have more vacancy to be filled compared to D successful peeps @ D test n interview...
Buh D counter-question is; why not get back to them if they are successful so they @least know they are successful? 

2. They have the habit of not contacting unsuccessful applicant after D test n interview, cos I could remember during my test @ Q n Q Place, D guy said if U dont get a response after 3days mean U are unsuccessful...

If however, D latter is D case I will say they suck @ conducting recruitment...
