This is a plague adversly affecting the students of the National Open University of Nigeria. I am left to worry if NOUN does it intentionally or are willingly attracting litigations to themselves.

All we hear about NOUN is missing results! Missing results!! Missing results!!! The irony is that you are told the results are released in batches and when you approach your Study center for rectification, there is little or nothing they can do other than for you to take the TMAs and exams again.

When you send mails to them, you get no response. This is sheer wickedness knowing that most NOUN students are workers who often times sneak out from work to write exams or are given little time by the organization to go write the exam.

Someone I know wrote 7 courses for MBA and only 2 results were released. The MBA batch currently in their 2nd semester has 2 results seized for all the students in a SC. I also read of someone re-writing 8 courses.

This dents the image of the school, adds more stress to the students, more cost incurred and a greater risk of abandoning the program.

NUC needs to be involved in this so that this ill will be checked and corrected.

Yes! that's it, I have had enough. I finally got the number of my contact person (thanks to a nice boss on this thread) called and I heard this: "sorry, the person you are calling have been barred from receiving calls"... can you imagine that I finally got the number and now this. On this note I am taking the advice of @onihaxy and following the footsteps of @voned and @hiploko and focusing on something else productive, if StanbicIBTC needs me, they will call me, which I know they will, but until then am MOVING FORWARD, i cannot put my entire life on suspense for StanbicIBTC. But I will still be contribute on a need to contribute basis though...

I've actually been watching - silently - all manner of dates, suggestions and counter-suggestions as to why the forms are not out yet!! I believe the change government as well Nigeria's current macro-economic position shouldn't be ignored!! The military has a lot of programs/agenda within it annual calendar which requires cash to achieve, DSSC/SSC recruitment is just one of many of them!!

But for whatever reason they choose not to sell the forms, its should count as a blessing in disguise for another day to get set for recruitment activities; to avoid malingering when the time to submit better parade arises!!

Bro, not everybody is lucky to have a contactable contact person (if am allowed to use that word)...For example in all of the mails I have received they have never included their phone number except e-mail which I have mailed twice without any response.

It has been more than 3 months I have been waiting to be called upon for medicals but to no avail. I have sent mails without responses. I have called my contact person and all he can say is for me to exercise some patience.

In all I still thank God I have not been sent a regret mail.

as in the whole thing dey confuse me sef. today makes it two weeks i did my interview for role of business banker. still no feedback. i mailed the person who sent the invite and she said that the recruitment process is still ongoing that i should be patient and apologized for the delays. hiploko also reassured me here that as long as i havent gotten rejection mail i should still be hopeful. but at this point, i think i should move on and wipe it off my memory and stop worrying about it. que cera cera. whatever will be will be. they'll send my letter when they're ready.
