In as much as we are not wholistically holy in our daily dealings. I believe we can violently strive for perfection. What happens if one practices abstinence? Or just a partner? What moral value are we setting for our children? I think etiquettes and good family values should be rekindled in our society if we really dont want the next generation to become the Sodom and Gomorah of our time.

There continues the impunity of the Jona regime. This same impunity caused him to fail to convince a lot of Nigerians to reelect him. From impunity in:

-sacking a chief of army staff when he went to represent Nigeria at an international engagement (cowardly way of sacking).

-sacking the CBN gov in an unconstitutional way when he was out of the country representing Nigeria at an international engagement (cowardly way of sacking).

-encouraging and supporting minority to upstage majority in Rivers assembly.

-encouraging division in the Nigeria Gov's forum just because your preferred candidate lost a free and fair election.

-encouraging and supporting the embarrassment of the Speaker of the House of Reps, the House in general and the entire Nigerian people in an unconstitutional way just because he decamped from your party with a valid legal basis (this particular one was a big assault on Nigeria's democracy).

-encouraging and supporting unnecessary impeachment proceedings in Adamawa and Nasarawa because of personal grouse with the govs. That of Nasarawa failed and almost threw the state into chaos. That of Adamawa succeeded and looks very likely to be upturned by the courts and thus creating additional confusion and waste of funds.

- encouraging minority (7) to send majority (19) packing from the Ekiti state house of assembly. I am very sure if GEJ calls for just 1 meeting with all the members of the EKITI house including Fayose and Ekiti APC leadership and mediate peace moves btw all parties as expected from the Father of the nation, it would have seriously calm nerves over there. But instead, he is encouraging Fayose to be dictatorial by sending the 19 APC lawmakers away and in effect heating up the state as if there is no other alternative way of resolving disputes.


GEJ has so many bills passed by the National Assembly not yet signed into law (some since 2012). Instead of him to busy himself in studying these bills and assenting those that merits assent before handover, thereby leaving a legacy for himself, he's being vindictive (another show of small mindedness).

Jona why are u trying to create more enemies for yourself before leaving? All the people u witch-hunted are taking strategic positions in the GMB govt. Why can't u just leave quietly. Now that u re soon going to become an ordinary citizen, it is in your interest to make peace with all sides and pursue it.

What if GMB comes on board and then reinstate Abba that his sack did not follow due process.

Will that not make u look silly? Are u aware that the police and others will still be responsible for your security as a former president and it is in your interest and that of your family to have a good rapport and relationship with that institution.

It is no longer news that President Goodluck Jonathan has announced his evil plans to do a formal handing over to President-elect Gen. Muhammadu Buhari of the APC on may 28 instead of the formal May 29th handing over, thereby creating a power vacuum for a few hours to enable the military led by Jonathan's kinsman General Kenneth Minima to swing into action and take over the reins of power under the guise of protecting the seat of power!
This is a clarion call to all Nigerians to arise and reject the evil plan.
We will recall that Doyin Okupe, the special assistant to Jonathan on Public affairs had before the elections insisted that Jonathan will never hand over power to Buhari which necessitated the APC to raise alarm about a possible coup plot. The Jonathan administration could not go ahead with this plot then partly due to Jega's resilience and doggedness and also due to immense pressure from the international community urging Jonathan to accept the results. Failing in their plots to kidnap Jega, the same hawks in the presidency have now regrouped to continue with the coup plot by creating a power vacuum from may 28th to enable the military take over.
Therefore, Nigerians must arise and reject this move for peace to reign in our country.
Maybe, we made a terrible mistake by ever voting for a very clannish Ijaw man to be President of this country. Nigerians shine una eyes!

I think it is because women don't easily get in the mood like men. They need men to treat them special and all nice to get that sexual attraction/urge. Another reason could be because most men have made it appears as if sex is like hitting some huge jackpot. Like our lives depends on it. So women have capitalise on this vulnerability of men to achieving their aim; attention, pampering and their want. Maybe men should stop their madness for sex, as women enjoys it as much anyways.

Though this act is sort of annoying, the one that irks me most is after a break up you hear a girl saying "after all I did for him". And you just reflect back to see what value they added to your life. But no, nothing.

1. Look for the fear of God.
The first thing to look for is the fear of God. This is very important. I say fear of God because the word “born-again” has been misused. Everybody is born again today. People become born again momentarily to get what they want. People give their lives to Jesus in order to get a wife and after they do, they collect their lives back from Jesus! It is no longer safe to assume somebody is God’s choice because you met him or her in church! It goes beyond that. This is why you don’t fall in love with somebody you met two hours ago. You cannot fall in love with somebody you do not know. Love comes with knowledge.
2. Look for focus.
Focus is important. What is the man focusing on in life? What is his vision in life? Who does he want to become? What is the person’s idea of marriage? Is the person serving God presently? What is he doing now? What does he intend to do later? What are his plans?
3. Look for consistency.
Consistency has to with his habits and patterns. Does he have consistent spiritual habits? Who are his friends? How does he spend his free times? In the bar?
4. Look for utterances.
His words are representations of the intents of his heart, …for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. (Matthew 12:34b KJV). His words would reveal his heart. Ask a lot of questions and listen to what he says. This is why courtship is important. Courtship period is not the time to get physical sexually, it is not an alignment of the bodies, it is an alignment of the minds. So before you give your consent, ask questions.What is his concept of serving God? You need to know all of these so that you will not walk down the aisle and then three months after, you want to run up the aisle and out of the marriage. That will not be your portion, but you need to “shine you eye” well! Stop falling in love helplessly, without thinking! Don’t be desperate to the extent that anything that comes goes. When you are desperate, men can sense it, and they may take advantage of that. You don’t have any business in the bed of man that you met few days back! How will you keep your respect and dignity intact like that? What will your relationship with God become? You are not a philanthropist, so stop donating your body and opening your legs generously for whoever wants! Nay!
5. Look for submission.
Is this man submissive? Who can you report him to when there are issues? Does he have a pastor or mentor you can report him to? He is not supposed to be the alpha and the omega that you cannot report. Is he accountable? To who? You know, I have counseled a few married people, and the issues are so serious and it is really very sad, when I ask the wife, “who does your husband respect?” and they go like, “Pastor, he respects nobody, not even his parents!” Now, that is not a good spot to be… Listen to me single ladies; never commit your life to somebody who has no authority figures over his life! When you do that, you have eliminated any external options when it comes to conflict resolution. It means the issue must be solved only by his wisdom and standard and that wisdom can be outright foolishness. That standard can be very warped. So, be wise! Too many ladies have been abused in their matrimonial home, with the husband brazenly beating up the wife and even bringing another woman into the house, and the wife looks on helplessly, because NOBODY can talk to him! It can really be unfortunate! When you are at that point, your only way out is to pray…and ask God to have mercy on the foolish choice that has been made. The mercy of God can turn things around.
