Meet Ganga and Jamuna Mondal -two conjoined twinswho share the same
BOYFRIEND.
The 45-year-olds, who are known as the Spider Sisters, have been single all
their lives and suffered years of rejection because of their unusual
appearance.
But now they say they are happier than ever after a chance encounter with
kind-hearted school teacher, Jasimuddin Ahmad.
It was love at first sight, said Ganga, who shares four arms and three legs
with her sister.
When we met Jasimuddin we both felt this was a man who would truly love
us. And he does he loves us straight from the heart.
Nickname: The pair are known in their home town of Kolkata as the Spider
Sisters
Jamuna added: We have been very happy since he came into our lives. We
have suffered in the past but we dont want to suffer anymore. We really hope
to spend the rest of our lives with him.
The twins, who share a stomach but have separate hearts, kidneys and
livers, were born to an impoverished family near Kolkata, West Bengal.
Their parents were unable to pay for medical attention and deserted them
when they reached their teens, fearing they were a sign of Gods fury.
With no education they joined a travelling circus, performing for audiences
across India.
They earned a relatively good wage of 25 a night but began to tire after years
on the road.
It was then that they first laid eyes on Ahmad, 36, who worked part-time with
the circus as a sound engineer, and were stunned to discover he shared their
feelings.
He said: Ever since I met them I have considered their pain as my own. I have
always been like this. I have always treated other peoples troubles as my
own and tried to make things better.
Now, every night I sit with them. We share a meal on the terrace and talk
about our lives. I sit with them in the evening breeze and we share our joys
and our sorrows.
Sometimes we listen to music and sit up talking late into the night. There
have been times when we have been up talking to 4am and then woken up
late the next morning.
Coming from a conservative culture, the twins are understandably coy about
discussing their love life but say there has been intimacy.
However, like many of the best relationships, their love is based mostly on
fun and companionship.
Ganga, who gets around with her sister by walking on their hands, said: The
best thing about him is that he has a great sense of humour. Also, he is a
very kind man. We call him Mr India.
The trio have now been together seven months and live in a village near
Kolkata.
Ahmad works at a local school but also helps the sisters in the evenings by
driving them to performances.
Despite their love, they have no plans to marry, believing it will not be
accepted by the community.
The sisters have been taken to see a surgeon about the possibility of being
separated but have rejected the idea, fearing it would endanger their lives and
rob them of their livelihood.
For now, they are simply happy to enjoy the love and companionship they
have craved for so many years and determined to enjoy it for as long as it
lasts.
We hope he stays with us, it will be a great support, said Jamuna.
If he wishes it too then we will be lucky. Otherwise our lives will become as
anchorless as ever.

When older teenagers typically have pain around
their molars and need to get teeth extracted, it’s
because of wisdom teeth crowding other teeth.
Ashik Gavai, a 17-year-old boy from India, proved
to be a very unique case when oral surgeons
removed an astonishing 232 teeth from his mouth.
Around 18 months before his surgery, he began to
complain about pain and swelling in his right lower
jaw. When doctors in his village weren’t able to find
the cause of the problem, he was referred to J.J.
Hospital in Mumbai. Sunanda Dhiware could not
immediately recognize the cause of the odd growth
with regular tests, and decided to bring him into
surgery. When she cut into the gums, they noticed
dozens of tiny teeth of variable sizes.
Dhiware diagnosed Gavai with complex composite
odontoma, which is when enamel and dentin grow
abnormally, resulting in an excessive number of
tooth-like structures. The condition is rare and the
teeth are essentially benign tumors.
Over the course of the seven-hour-long surgery,
Dhiware, another surgeon, and two assistants
extracted 232 of the teeth. Dhiware told BBC that
the structure couldn’t be cut out using traditional
methods. This forced the to break it into pieces
using a hammer and chisel, which is an outdated
method that is now very rarely employed. After the
odontoma was cracked, the team removed
hundreds of small teeth ranging in size from a
mustard seed to a marble. The dentists also
removed the molar that was affected by the
condition, though it was removed with traditional
methods.
Dhiware told IBTimes that as far as she knows, the
greatest amount of teeth ever extracted because of
this condition was 37, but she needs to do more
research in the literature before she comments on
whether this could be a world record. However, she
told BBC Gavai’s condition was unlike anything
she had seen in 30 years of dentistry, and she was
"thrilled to get such an exciting case.”
Following the surgery, Gavai was left with 28 teeth;
a normal amount of teeth for an adult. Dhiware did
not comment about Gavai’s prognosis , which is
dependent upon early diagnosis and management.

A young Filipino girl shock her family and mourners as she opened her eyes at
her funeral. Many were shocked to the marrow when they discovered that the
3-year old girl who was pronounced dead a day before her funeral suddenly
woke up while a priest was preparing to administer the last sacrament.
The girl from Aurora in the Philippines was pronounced dead at about 9am on
Friday, 11th of July, and was set for burial at 1pm on Saturday before shaking

The government has persistently interfered with the administration of
the football association, and FIFA is sick of it. The ban takes effect
immediately, and prevents Nigeria from participating in any regional,
continental, or international competitions. Additionally, even club teams
are not allowed to play a sanctioned match outside the country.
FIFA rules mandate that a country run their football association
“independently and with no influence from third parties,” which Nigeria
has grossly violated. The chief precipitating incident occurred about a
week ago, when the government issued a court order banning the
president, Executive Committee members, and Congress of the Nigerian
Football Federation (NFF) from actually administering Nigerian football.
The order also deemed the Nigerian Minister of Sports responsible for
appointing a government official to run the NFF until they could have a
court hearing to sort out the matter. Naturally, they did not set a date
for when that hearing would take place.
FIFA has promised to lift the ban “once the court actions have been
withdrawn and the properly elected NFF Executive Committee, the NFF
general assembly and the NFF administration are able to work without
any interference in their affairs.”
Nigeria’s Under 20 women’s side will be the first team to suffer the
consequences of the government’s interference. If the sanctions haven’t
been removed by July 15, they will be unable to participate in the
under-20 Women's World Cup. The men’s senior national team is
scheduled to begin qualifying for the African Cup of Nations in
September.
While it’s not the first time Nigeria has been in trouble with FIFA (they
were briefly banned from the 2010 World Cup when the president
interfered with the NFF), this is a very serious situation for the future of
their national teams. Placing such a huge restriction on the program will
