We have a failures as media outlets. the question we should be asking the police which our media by extention should be asking are;

1) How serious were the wounds?

2) where did he die. in a cell or a hospital

3) if in a hospital then how unfortunate, but if in a cell why was such a material suspect not taking for treatment under police cover?

4)also if in a cell, then how sure are we he didnt die of tourture?

But am sure some will say let him die now, my reply will be thats why we are in our current state of affairs - lack of systematic investigation and intelligence gattering from suspects

3.who supply the Syrian rebels with arms to fight the government? So you expect the Syrian authorities to sit back and watch law and order fail.

Idont think it is public display. Any devout Muslim knows prayer is timed obligation upon them.

I remember onece rushing down to eko hotel for an interview only to remember I was so much in a haste I missed my Dawn prayer, I had to spread my jacket on the floor in the waiting section and pray there.

It is good to see Christians rigourously and scholarly annalyzind the basis of their faith, if anything, at least God will guide those who really seek the truth towards it and live the blind to wallow in their self inlflicted ignorance. Keep the good job up.

@logic mind the premise of your allegation is wrong. Islam and by extension logic demands that if you make a claim against anything religion included then you should be ready to back it up with facts from the source, and in the case of Islam the Quran is the source. Failure by the OP to provide sources in the Quran to back his argument will render them VOID AND NOTHING MORE THAN PERSONAL ASSERTIONS WHICH WILL BE WORTHLESS, because even you can make baseless accusations. Now for Jesus' coming to be foretold doesn't in it self make him a god, except if the prophecy clearly states that god will be coming. By the way the Muslims believe the coming of their prophet was foretold yet they don't ascribe divinity to him.

Christ = messiah which means anointed, now that doesn't also mean he is god. The Muslims also believe Jesus was the messiah, but again they don't ascribe divinity to him.

You see unless you can substantiate the claim of Jesus being god with a factual text of the bible, you shouldn't blame those who understand those texts as what they plainly are.

Concerning the prophet of Islam, the Arabs never had a book with them, they never expected a prophet, but the Jews were expecting a prophet (which they hoped will be Jewish) so when they realised the new prophet was an Arab and not Jewish they were disappointed and disbelieved in the prophet. The Quran puts it this way "and when there comes to them a book from Allah (the Quran) confirming what is with them (the Torah and the gospels) - although from old the had prayed for victory against those without faith,- and when there comes to them that which they (should) have recognised they refused to believe in it" Q 2:89
So you see it was the Jew who where expecting a prophet whom when he came they rejected.

SON OF GOD?
Common you know son of god in biblical language means a godly person, how else do you explain other prophets who where called sons of god? In fact the bible says peace makers are sons of god.

@ frosbel I think the article deols posted has to do with what actually happened and not what ought to have happened. So I don't think questioning the ideals of BH based on logic can get us anywhere coz clearly they don't reason logically and their demands are unreasonable if not impossible, but that doesn't abrogate the fact that they made them.

For instance I remembered when they used to target scholars and mosques in maiduguri, I was doing some work for a bank in yobe, then the regional manager used to suggest to the muslims to pray in the office instead of going to the mosque due to BH targeted assassinations in mosque and the ensuing innocent collateral damage. So I know that part as true.

I remember when the BH saga happened under yaradua, and Dora went on BBC spewing nonsense that yes this guys disserves to be executed! I was outside the country then and even made a YouTube video as to HOW ABOUT ARESTING THEM AND GETTING TO THE ROOT OF THIS MISGUIDED SECT, but trust nigerians we act on sentiments instead of common sense. The authorities were supposed to arrest, interrogate, indict and sentence this guys, at least we would have had some useful intel on how to deal with them now. But trust our barbaric securities, they executed them and now we Are all in this mess.
