Well I have had a couple of interview experience...

1. With a Nigerian bank the head of the division and one of his managers were interviewing me, in the course of the interview the head said to the manager 'mehn this guy is a CFA candidate o, which one r u doing sef', he replied 'i am managing ICAN sir'.. I got the job but spent only 4 months and left.

2. With one of the foreign owned banks in 9ja, I was called a day b4 the interview to fly half way across the country for the interview (how's that for prepation), I had to borrow money for the trip. During the second interview the interviewer said 'ah, why r u not as enthusiastic as in our first meeting, r u hungry?' I replied 'kind of, sir it's Ramadan ' I got the job

3. This was my best and worst interview, after a phone interview, I was invited to the company Corp HQ in their home country (they processed my visa and literarily paid for my trip from the first step out and back into my house) only 40 were invited globally. I was so caught up in the moment that I forgot to prepare for the interview. I missed that one

4. My next one was in front of a panel of 22 professors and doctors, yes 22. They were more interested at my funny name than my skills. I got that one

5. The next was with a multinational oil coy. By now I had mastered the art of wushu (interview )

All this happened between 2010-2012. So I have resolved to suspend interviews for the next 3 to 5 years. So help me God.

Satan was created by Allah from fire, he wasn't particularly an angel but some other creatures refered to as the JINN by the Quran, their existence predate that of humans. (And the jinn We created before, of intensely hot fire Q15:27, He(Satan) was one of the jinns, and he broke the Command of his Lord. Q18:50)
Now Allah created man to live on earth and not Eden, and Satan was not the cause of man's eviction from eden, he was just a means to facilitate man's transition from Eden to earth (And when thy Lord said unto the angels: Lo! I am about to place a viceroy in the earth Q 2:30) the above verse shows even before man's creation Allah meant him to be on earth.
But then Allah tested man with temptation through Satan, even though Man was warned of the evil whispers of Satan (Verily Satan is an enemy to you: so treat him as an enemy.Q35:6).
So what was decreed to happen, did happened and Satan disobeyed Allahs command concerning Adam, and he was banished from the skies but not before ha had vowed to mislead the children of Adam from submitting to the true God ( none other deserve worship but Him).
Allah advices us thus concerning Satan (O children of Adam! let not the Satan cause you to fall into affliction as he expelled your parents from the garden, pulling off from them both their clothing that he might show them their evil inclinations, he surely sees you, he as well as his host, from whence you cannot see them; surely We have made the Shaitans to be the guardians of those who do not believe.Q7:27)
Satan, in the end will be judged like every other creature of Allah. This is what he has to say when all matters are judged (And Satan will say when the matter is decided: "It was Allah Who gave you a promise of Truth: I too promised, but I failed in my promise to you. I had no authority over you except to call you but ye listened to me: then reproach not me, but reproach your own souls. I cannot listen to your cries, nor can ye listen to mine. I reject your former act in associating me with Allah. For wrong-doers there must be a grievous penalty."Q14:22)

U can refer to the Quran for more on what Islam says about the Satan.

stanbic really messes up in term of pay. can u believe when I was there my BM earned less than what ABO at gtb earned. its just annoying. but from the AM level the pay approaches industry average.
OP one good thing with stanbic is if u perform ur promotion is 'almost' certain, coupled with the stanbic 'efizzy' other than that notting dey.

When I first posted here, I didn't quite read the previous pages but now I did, and it has put my brain on overdrive (God help me get this total job).

Just one thing what is the pay difference in total upstream and downstream for entry level non engineer position.?

Mazaje I respect your zeal and hopefully ur striving to get to the bottom of things, but so far my following of your exchanges with tbaba only indicates delibrate attempt to wiggle around things.
1. Your arguments are bereft of facts, but aren't short of incredulous stretch of the little facts you present. For instance with one poster you argue that tha ahadith are biased narrations from Muslim point of view (u even allude to a grand Islamic conspiracy to cover up events) yet at anoer turn your evidence that the Quran was copied is from either quoting from the same ahadith or from missionary sources. The reasons I find this funny is that if there was a Muslim cover up conspiracy how would they leave evidence that to u seems as ammunition to buttress ur fact(it's either u misunderstood the Hadith or don't want understand at all). Also quoting from missionary sources as a self confessed atheist is rather contradictory, because you should know better that the aim of any missionary writing about Islam isn't to propagate it or set records straight, it's the otherwise.

Please rethink your stance or provide evidences from scholarly sources as tbaba is doing. Good luck

Has it ever occurred to mazaje that the so called gnostic gospels banned by the church was not for any divine reason but because it merely didn't fit the roman church's teachings of a triun god (mind u the Romans had tons of gods b4 xtianity, so adopting 3 more wouldn't be much of stress). Also, the Quran claimed in countless number of verses that, it(the Quran) is a confirmation Of previous scriptures and a criterion over them(a means of sieving divine revelation from mortal interpolations). Thus when we find teachings that the Quran confirms in the Torah, injeel, zabur or even the Vedas; it simply tells us that these are some of the original revelations (still intact) sent to these great prophets in the past which the Quran confirms......

Here is an example of the verse I just explained..."And We have revealed to you the Book with the truth, verifying what is before it of the Book and a guardian over it, ..."
