This time his interview with MTVBase Africa about himself, has got people talking, as the singer claimed that ever since he did remarkable things in the UK, other African artistes have followed his footstep and done the same.
Sharing a brief from the interview, MTVBase Africa wrote on their Instagram page;
We interviewed @mreazi ahead of his Life is Eazi Culture Festival in London today.
“I felt like ever since I came and did quite a lot in London, a lot of African artists have started coming to London.
It’s like London is the Afrobeat 101.
So I just feel like anyone can come and do a concert and it’s shown I’m happy that a lot of artists have been able to come and do concerts but I personally feel like Afrobeats is what is is right now, it’s a wave”

activistjohnny: The police have arrested a 70-year-old man in Akpoha, Ebonyi state, Simon Alobu, for allegedly hypnotizing and repeatedly raping a 7-year-old orphan, Favour. Favour was first raped in 2014 and since then, the man has allegedly been raping her. . The suspect tore Favour’s bottom with razor blade where he presumably apply some charms to prevent the girl from revealing his identity until the girl revealed his illicit acts on her after attending a crusade at Adoration Ministry, Enugu owned by a Charismatic Catholic Priest Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka.
Favour is facing health challenges with a body odour following the rape. She is yet to be given adequate medical treatment. Alobu was handed over to the police by a special court in the state known as family law centre where the matter was reported by Favour’s aunt, Enya Martha. . The man married three wives and has 14 children. None of the wives and children are living with him. One of his wives was divorced while another is dead. The remaining one left him and went to her son who is living outside the area. . The suspect lives in the same compound with the girl and her aunt and was reported to the centre by the victim’s aunt Enya Martha who alleged that the man also raped her when she was a little girl. . Narrating her ordeal in the hands of Alobu, the victim said “the man said I should come and prepare food for him. After preparing the food, my brother who was with me said he was not eating and left immediately. . When my brother left and I was still eating, the man locked the door and carried me to his bed and raped me”. The girl’s aunt, became aware of Favours condition after she complained of severe pains in her private. . According to the woman, she took the girl to Afikpo where the rape was confirmed why efforts to make her reveal the identity of the rapist failed as he continued the act till this year. . The suspect confessed that he has had carnal knowledge of the girl and that he did it under the influence of alcohol. Angelanest: A woman was publicly disgraced after she was caught stealing a bag during service at the Redeemed Christian Church of God RCCG at New Oko Oba area of Lagos. According to Kay Olawumi, the woman was apprehended after she was caught on a CCTV footage stealing a woman's bag after ministration.
She was apprehended by church members who called the police to arrest her.
36govs: The Lagos state police command, after weeks of intensive manhunt, has arrested one Ismaila Adeyemi 'm' aged 49yrs, the suspected mastermind and killer of Hector Jobateh (the 2007 winner of Gulder Ultimate search) who was traced and shot dead at his residence at New Oko-Oba in Agege area of Lagos State.
The suspect who was arrested at gas line Ominiyi in Ijoko area of Ogun state, confessed to the crime and other numerous crimes, while other members of his gang have been arrested. The suspects will be charged to court after investigation is concluded.
The command wishes to reinstate it's commitment in partnership with members of the public and urge them to always come forward with useful information that would assist the police in discharging their duties.
The Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Tukur Buratai on Monday evening stated that the Defence Headquarters did not declare the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB a terrorist organization in the country.
Speaking during the official launch of Operation Python Dance II in Abakaliki, the Army Chief who argued that what the Defence Headquarters did was a pronouncement on IPOB added that the statement of the military gave room for the right steps to be taken on the matter.
According to Buratai, the action of the Federal government concerning IPOB was right and that the military did not over step its bound towards the protection of lives and properties in the country. It is not that we are overstepping our bounds. We are still within the limits. And I ensure you that what the military said was to set the ball rolling and to bring the awareness to the public that this is what this organization is all about. I’m happy that the government has done the right thing right now.”
General Tukur Buratai further assured the people of the Southeast that the Army will abide by the rule of law and rules of engagement in carrying out the Exercise Egwu Eke II which kicked off on Saturday in the region.
Also during a courtesy to Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi state who was represented by his Deputy, Dr. Kelechi Igwe, the Chief of Army Staff noted that the exercise was targeted at improving the security situation of the zone which according to him, was very strategic to the security of the country.
According to him the exercise will help to bring about the much needed peace and security and also be used to train the Military in basic internal security.
“They army have taken into cognizance the security of the people in deployment of it’s personnel for the operation”.
He said the army in carrying out the operation will liaise and work with other security agencies in the region.
“The army is very sensitive to the cultural norms of the people and will abide by all the rules of engagement and code of conduct that have been laid down which is quite in tandem with the Constitution,” he said.
According to him, some of the activities of the exercise will include Patrols, indoor battle exercises, Civil-Military cooperation activities like medical outreach, sanitation, donation of books to schools etc.
He therefore appealed for understanding as it is just an exercise to help improve security of lives and property within the zone.
Governor Umahi promised that the people of the state will cooperate with the army throughout the duration of the exercise.
He noted that the first edition of the operation last year was peaceful and successful and urged the military to carry out the exercise with high sense of discipline that the Nigerian Military is known for.
He urged the Military to pay more attention to the state’s border with Cross River while carrying out the exercise which he said have been decimated by boundary clashes.

celebsnestblog: The Rivers State Police Commissioner, Mr. Ahmed Zaki, on Monday paraded the rearrested Ifeanyi Dike, who allegedly murdered his eight-year-old niece, Victory Chikamso Nmezuwuba, for rituals.
He was paraded at the State Command in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, before a crowd of onlookers who were eager to catch a glimpse of the suspect.
Recall, Dike was caught by a local vigilance group during a failed attempt to dispose the body of Chikamso after removing some body parts, including her eyes and tongue.
The suspect escaped while in police custody, but was rearrested in Jos, Plateau State, on Friday by a team of policemen.
