My source is the 10pm radio Nigeria network news I tunned to after desperately searching for our beloved Cosmo FM.
I was listening to the gibberish they call news when I heard that EFCC officials sealed up Cosmo FM because it was set by former governor Nnamani with looted funds.
We in the East and indeed south of Nigeria will miss cosmo because of their quality programming and wide reach.
Have any one else heard about this? |

That prophesy is really funny shaa. BUT, where are those people on this forum threatening other people in here with fire and brimstone when Adeboye was said to have made a popular purchase. Where are they to come and caution some guys here, if they are not among the people ridiculing the Prophet. Now its TB Joshua and they dont think he is man of God enough? How do they determine who is man of God sef. i'm no pentecostal and I aint gonna be one but it doesnt feel right at all when people literally worship some preachers and outrightly label others fake prophets. Im not saying that there arent men of God and Fake ones but, how do you tell? I dont know what is 'powering' TB Joshua but to me, I mean to ME, he is much a better person than most of the more popular pastors in Nigeria. Just my opinion anyways. |

Webmasters › Re: Image In File Upload Does Not Show Why? Help Pls by biggjoe(m): 9:05pm On Jul 15, 2009 |
Assuming you have successfully incorporated an image upload script in an 'insert server behaviour' created by Dreamweaver, you will have to also include the full path of the picture where you want to display it. Dreamweaver cannot do it on its own.
e.g: lets say you uploaded the image in a folder named 'photos' and your recordset is named 'rs_files' and the field in the DB that holds your filename is 'pics'
then to display the picture which you uploaded to the 'photos folder,
the line that will do it will look exactly like this,
<img src="photos/<?php echo $row_rsfiles['pics']; ?>"/>
Then again, something makes me think you are talking about image preview box. i.e the one that shows you the picture you are uploading before uploading it.
If you are talking about that, then its javascript that will do it for you. |

Why I Went To Okija Shrine With Bible, By NgigeSource Condemns Secret Oath-Taking By Godwin Ijediogor and Samson Ezea FORMER Governor of Anambra State, Dr. Chris Ngige, yesterday condemned the practice of secret oath taking by politicians in their quest for political power. Speaking to The Guardian on telephone, Ngige, who was accused some years ago of swearing a secret oath of allegiance at the Okija Shrine at the prompting of his estranged godfather, Chief Chris Uba, before becoming governor in 2003, denied actually taking the oath. "I went to Okija Shrine with my Bible and refused to take any oath. Take oath for who and what? It is rubbish and absolute nonsense. Satan took Jesus to mountain for trial, but at the end Jesus triumphed over him," Ngige said. On the recent allegation and counter-allegation of secret oath taking between Governor Gbenga Daniel of Ogun State and some House of Assembly members, Ngige said he had not been following the saga, saying he was outside the country when the news broke. But he stated that anybody, politician or businessman, demanding secret oath taking from anybody before supporting him or her is wasting his/her time, because it does not work. Meanwhile, a cross section of Nigerians have described the act as shameful and desperate. President, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) and General Overseer, Word of Life Bible Church, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor said it is "one of the dirty things and ignominious acts going on in the corridors' of power within the country," adding: "This is one of the reasons we have poor government." The Christian cleric said further: "It is obvious from that shameful scene that our politicians do not feel they owe the nation any obligation. Their responsibility and obligation is to the people that gave them the oath. Because of that, they cannot be truthful. They are often compelled under such oath to take money to the people who initiated them. "This reveals that there are many secrets surrounding governance in the country and no matter how bad things may be, they (politicians) would always cover themselves because they are on oath. "It has encouraged corruption, wickedness, occultism in governance, rigging of elections, do-or-die politics and disregard for the sufferings of the people. That is the major cause of corruption in Nigeria. God will gradually expose the people who are behind the problem of this great country," he noted. To the Prelate, Methodist Church, Nigeria, Rt. Rev. Ola Makinde: "It is barbaric, against the word of God and an insult to the integrity of citizens of the country." "That is why our election will always be riddled with violence, rigging and bloodshed. Nigerians and particularly Christians should take the issue as a serious challenge that deserves to be prayed about," he added. Renowned Kano Islamic cleric, Sheik Tijjani Bala Kalarawi, expressed regret that governance has today been reduced to power and acquisition of ill-gotten money, unlike in the past. He attributed the development to the level of insincerity in the polity, hence he advocated a return to the ways of Allah, as "We must remember that we would all go back to Allah one day." To constitutional lawyer, Mr. Fred Agbaje: "It is not only illegal, but also unconstitutional, as government officials who have skeletons in their cupboards are abusing the constitution and tarnishing the principles of the rule of law. They are not content with having only Official Secrets Act in place, but they have even gone further." Mike Igini, Director of Centre For Leadership Values And Policy said it "clearly exemplifies the collapse of governance and the total erosion of our values." For his part, Chief Chekwas Okorie, National Chairman of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), declared: "It is indeed worrisome that while the younger generation of other countries are engaged in efforts to make major breakthroughs in technology and other endeavours, their Nigerian counterparts repose their entire confidence in these primitive methods, as well as rely on godfathers, to whom they will take oath of loyalty to succeed in life." He said this explains why the Nigerian society is not regenerative in all sectors of the economy and national life and called on members of the National Assembly "to rise above partisan and parochial interests to bequeath to Nigerians a sound electoral reform that will put Nigeria back on the path of growth, development and civilisation." N250m alleged money laundering scam: Assembly clears Obi •Says Anambra money not missing
Source: Sun NewsThe Anambra State House of Assembly yesterday adopted the report of the three-man ad-hoc committee on the issue of N250 million belonging to Anambra State that was intercepted by the police in Lagos state, exonerating Governor Peter Obi of any complicity in the business.
The House had, on June 2, 2009 at the peak of the scandal, set up the ad-hoc committee comprising Hons. Gabriel Onyenwife, chairman, Chinedu Muokwue and Nnamdi Ezike as members, to look into the root of the facts surrounding the origin and destination of the said money.
At yesterday’s sitting, Chairman of the committee, Hon. Onyenwife read the six-page report of the committee which was adopted as a working document for the House though not without objection from two members Hon. J. C. Okeke of Nnewi Constituency and leader of the House, Hon. (Mrs.) Njideka Ezeigwe, who wanted the report to be stood down for members to study.
However, the committee in the report recommended that the report be accepted as a working document pending when reports of the police and the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) were sent to it for it to fully report to the House. Part of the adopted report reads: “The committee found out from the office of the secretary to the state government that Ejike Onwusogbulu is the owner of Glitz Introserve Ltd which is a registered company with the state government.
“Mr. speaker, the committee found out from the office of the accountant general of the state that the state government has not paid any amount of money whatsoever to either Ejike Onwusogbulu personally or to Glitz Introserve Ltd or Autozone Motors Global Ltd.” The accountant general appeared personally before the committee.
“The committee, on reply from the heads of local government administrations of the state and after conducting oral interview with them one after the other, discovered that all the heads of local government administration, through their secretariat in the office of the honourable commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, agreed to purchase 21 units of Kia Optima cars for their respective offices in the 21 LGA’s of Anambra State and 21 units of Ford Ranger 4x4 Pick Up van for the police in the 21 local government areas of the state to beef-up security in the state. “The heads of local government administration in all the local governments agreed through selective tender to award the contract to Autozone Motors Global Ltd and Glitz Introserve Ltd.
“The committee discovered that the contract sum for the purchase and supply of the aforementioned vehicles were N4,850,000 per unit for the Ford Ranger 4x4 Pick Up van and N3,700,000 per unit for the Kia Optima cars. The total contract sum is N179,550,000. There is an advance payment guarantee from Fidelity Bank in respect of the contract. There is also a letter of domiciliation of the above amount from one Stephaine Keri Uzo JP of office of the honourable commissioner, Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, to the branch manager, Fidelity Bank Plc, No 7, Zik Avenue Awka. “The committee found out that all the local governments raised payment vouchers and subsequently issued cheques in respect of the above contracts. The cheques are yet to be paid to the contractor though deposited with the bank where the total sum of contract is domiciled i.e Fidelity Bank Plc of No. 7 Zik Avenue, awka.
“It was also discovered by the committee from Ejike Onwusogbulu that the amount that was intercepted by the police in Lagos was N255,000,000.00 (two hundred and fifty five million naira) and not N250,000,000.00 (two hundred and fifty million). The money, from investigation, was an overdraft facility withdrawn by Ejike Onwusogbulu from Fidelity Bank Plc, No 7 Zik Avenue, Awka on Thursday, May 28, 2009. “The committee found out from Ejike Onwusogbulu that he withdrew the money for the purposes of direct purchase of the contracted vehicles from dealers in Lagos who are more inclined to cash and carry transaction.
“…The committee discovered that the said money withdrawn by Ejike Onwusogbulu i.e N255,000,000.00 (two hundred and fifty five million naira) was the money intercepted by the police in Lagos. The governor corroborated the fact that Ejike Onwusogbulu was the owner of the money and that the said vehicles intercepted with the money were his, going for routine servicing in Lagos and that he was aware that the contractor gave the money to his driver.
“…It is the recommendation of the committee that as the police and the EFCC are yet to come out with any report, this report should be accepted as a working document pending when reports of the police and EFCC are sent to the committee for the committee to fully report to the House.” I Copied the newspaper report earlier in the morning but I couldnt see it thereafter and I guess somehow it was flagged as spam. |

Your question appears to have simple solution but that will be when you have cleared some simple issues that we need to know about your work.
It is very easy to create forms in Dreamweaver but you will not use Dreamweaver to create your database.
So now tell us:
1. what kind of scripting language (eg: php, ASP etc) you are working with. 2. what kind of database do you want to use (eg: Access, mysql etc)
If you are not sure about any of the above, you can get an advice on which might favour you the more.
That will be it for now, until you give answers to the above questions, im not sure there is much anyone can do for you.
