Sannifwd: I learnt TLS will be working tomorrow. Their holiday will be Monday and Tuesday next week. This is for those that got their collection mail today.
I was just about to ask if they'll open tomorrow. I got my decision & collection mail this evening and was wondering if i should go there tomorrow. I believe you are 100% certain regarding this information. Considering that I stay far away from Ikeja, I just dont want to go there in vain. Thanks for the information. |

Isaacmacdon: It's obvious you didn't deeply understand my post. There are some certain things that has been said in other to keep us in check. The good book says, 'Human wants is like the world of the dead'. Human wants is insatiable. We should not make acquiring wealth the most important thing in our lives. There are a lot of things that deserves to be taking the front seat in our lives, e.g Family. Besides, being wealthy doesn't guarantee happiness.... Try to reason before you try to make a point.. Steve jobs had all the money in the world, but he couldn't save himself..... Bros i dont mean to bug you, but you dont personally know this guy so dont conclude based on what you see. Just because he's flaunting his cash doesnt mean family or whatever you consider more important arent foremost on his mind. If being wealthy doesnt guarantee happiness, being poor never guarantees same too. Now i would rather be rich and unhappy than poor and unhappy. Yea steve jobs couldnt save himself, but there are several indigent people too who couldnt save themselves from what he died of. Life is vanity and money isnt everything, but make sure you are wealthy first. |

Even as a barca fan, i know madrid is more likely to win. The present board has to be dissolved. Until then, no win for barca: they should learn. |

Buying stupid Andre gomes, Alex Vidal and paulinho
WTF....so pissed The present barca board is the problem. I hope a vote of no confidence will be passed so that they can be booted out. Barca has never been at such a low point since i became a fan. Madrid has proven to be better managed and it has translated to success for them: they deserve it. |

Someone pursuing msc but cant defferentiate between past/present tense, there/their, cant construct decent sentence. This shows that we have a long way to go. Ist the decadence in our educational system or its just laziness i cant fathom You shouldn't take things seriously at times. Did you notice the guy's second post? This guy just dey use us play. |

Neymar made the right decision albeit PSG is relatively smaller. He, however, stands to gain a lot by not being in Messi's shadow: that guy doesn't want to fade, and Neymar obviously sees this. He truly deserves the best for a player of his calibre.
At the end it's a wise move with both Neymar and Barca gaining from the sale. I am partly a psg fan as it is. |

My university (LSE) has equally sent me the letter confirming my full scholarship. I successfully applied for a one year student's visa today and paid $775 for both IHS and visa fee (approximately 283,000). I also booked a Friday appointment for the interview. Please what kind of questions should I expect? Please which bank did you use in making the payment? |

Afam4eva: There's definitely more crime in lagos than Chicago but it's just that in Lagos, it's more widespread and is not limited to some areas. In cities like Chicago and others in America, crime is synonymous with specific areas, mostly areas with relative poverty.
The only reason why Lagos is mentioned alongside places like Chicago is because it's population. How exactly do you want to compare Lagos with Chicago. Which metric are you going to use. Is it the provision of the basic amenities, electricity, industries. In what areas is Lagos at the same level with Chicago. He wants to use crime rate. Lol. |

mceze: How do you expect Americans to speak bad about their beautiful country? If ours is as beautiful as theirs, we won't speak bad about it I'm sure that guy has not been to Nigeria in a very long time. He's probably there schooling and seeking a better life. It's relatively easier to try to paint a good picture when you are not in the system. We know what we have here, and it's a mess: saying otherwise is being delusional. The slums in some of those developed countries are as good as our highbrow areas. |

zicoraads: Keep kwayet. We ain't sugar coating shit. Our country is messed up. EOD. Do they also seek medical help outside Dubai? Are their roads are as terrible as ours? Is crime rate this high? How about their child mortality? Do they power their houses with generators? Are their leaders as clueless and directionless as ours?
Mehn, forget it. We all know they city has slums. And it's not easy surviving there. But, even the very poor ones have the things I just listed above. Those things are the some of the things an average Nigerian wants. We aint gonna sugar coat how messed up our country is. You dey mind that one? That's easily the weirdest post i've seen on this forum. Why on earth would a right-thinking person compare Lagos with Chicago in the first place? There are somethings you can polish to portray a good image, not what we have in Nigeria. This is like giving our corrupt leaders thumbs up. It doesnt show a lack of patriotism in any way if we demand from our leaders what is rightfully ours. |

Sample questions though I feel would be more effective for the preparation... That's what I'm still looking for.
