I have been a somewhat silent observer on this wonderful thread that provides such valuable information. I am grateful to the contributors. My timeline goes thus:
Online application: 2nd August
Biometrics: 4th August
Sheffield mail: 17th August
Decision & collection mail: 31st August
My visa was granted today when I got to the collection centre.

I applied on the 2nd of August, and I had my appointment on the 4th. It's a standard application.

The present barca board is the problem. I hope a vote of no confidence will be passed so that they can be booted out. Barca has never been at such a low point since i became a fan. Madrid has proven to be better managed and it has translated to success for them: they deserve it.

Neymar made the right decision albeit PSG is relatively smaller. He, however, stands to gain a lot by not being in Messi's shadow: that guy doesn't want to fade, and Neymar obviously sees this. He truly deserves the best for a player of his calibre.

At the end it's a wise move with both Neymar and Barca gaining from the sale. I am partly a psg fan as it is.

As long as your school accepted it and it's original you can use it. It will be scanned at the point of submission and returned to you. The scanned/electronic copy will be sent securely to UKVI.

There's definitely more crime in lagos than Chicago but it's just that in Lagos, it's more widespread and is not limited to some areas. In cities like Chicago and others in America, crime is synonymous with specific areas, mostly areas with relative poverty.

The only reason why Lagos is mentioned alongside places like Chicago is because it's population. How exactly do you want to compare Lagos with Chicago. Which metric are you going to use. Is it the provision of the basic amenities, electricity, industries. In what areas is Lagos at the same level with Chicago.

I'm sure that guy has not been to Nigeria in a very long time. He's probably there schooling and seeking a better life. It's relatively easier to try to paint a good picture when you are not in the system. We know what we have here, and it's a mess: saying otherwise is being delusional. The slums in some of those developed countries are as good as our highbrow areas.

Please how long does it take to get a UK student visa from the day of application? I am presently awaiting my ATAS certificate-- i should get it no earlier than 10th of july according to them. Thanks for the reply. I dont really want to bury my head in a large t/book at this point. If i were to even guess the book, i'll say it's Cohen which i have. I just need related questions with which i can practice like you rightly said. I guess the best resort is online questions for now.

Courses with other questions that have good chance to be out. Also With other past years general questions.
You may not be too bothered about English questions if they are to be set this time out. They are giveaways for a graduate who didn't get his/her degree through the back door. Don't 100% expect English language section this time so u avoid a shocker. May your star guide u. It's worth it
