Trust me, u are not alone in this.... i know loooooads of people who submitted btw aug 4 and like 11th and either still have this issue or had it b4 they finally got ppr. My aor is aug 5th, was on ip1 for 38days, been on na2 for 50days now.

Dont worry... when ur movement comes it wud be swift

Nozzle:
Good morning my ppl, I need some clarity
Other than ordering a gcms notes, is there anyway i can find out if there is something Wrong with my application?
Nothing has changed in my application for like 2 months now. From what I am seeing, I am still on IP1. AOR was august 4th. Medical passed Aug 20th. My daughter was successfully added Sept 20th and medical passed too. My application still says additional document is needed. I sent an email about that they said they do not need any document for now. Could something be wrong with the application? Has anyone waited past the speculated processing time of 6 months?

Hi

I beg to strongly differ on this assumption/theory. I have 0 travel history, never been to any country, never had a Visa refusal, single...

With all the above, i am still in NA2 since 25th september. VO is Ottawa.

My point here is that, its really difficult to figure out their modus operandi, coz when u think u have figured it out, u see that it doesnt really follow for everyone

Virt:
Hi all,

Please how does past visa refusal from any country affect the timeline of processing one's PR application. A survey was done on some applicants that are delayed at the NA2 stage and most of them had one visa refusal or the other and indicated same in their application. Some of them have been on the same stage for 2 to 4 weeks and counting while their counterparts and those who applied after them have long received PPR. Their applications are still at CIO, Sydney and not yet assigned to any local visa office.

Please any experience of those who successfully got PPR with a visa refusal which they indicated in their application and what was their timeline like?

I appreciate your responses.

Well said... You couldnt have summarized it any better. Coz when one thinks about the future of our children and at the same time look at the present state of our country, it gives us the courage to jump through all the hurdles in this Canny race

TEECANN:

Smslive,

Lolz at your comment....but on a serious note, from people that I interacted with on IELTS days, most people (especially young people with growing families) earning good pay (cos you wont even be doing this PR hustle in the first place if you re not averagely okay financially- should we start naming the costs? grin) are really NOT running away from their jobs but most are jumping the Nigerian ship that is obviously sinking.

Most people will miss their good jobs and the good pay (at least in the short term) but the question that will always remain to be answered is:

"If I stay back in this country compared to if I take the opportunity to leave to re-start my life and that of my kids. What will our lives look like 10 years after, in both environments?"

It's looking gloomy for most people born in the 70s and early 80s era hence the fight is for our children's future, to place their destinies in environment where their merit, creativeness and brilliance will be appreciated, polished and given the necessary rewards deserving! and most people including myself are ready to forgo the nice and good pay to give these kids that opportunity. Our careers most often are secondary, in the next 5 to 10 years in Canada, we would have caught up again with colleagues left behind in Nigeria on all fronts, pay inclusive!

Cheers man.

1. There's no place for that while creating an ee profile, u only state the size of your family. U get to put that after ITA

2. i strongly believe u dont have a job offer in Canada (in plain terms... U never find work for Canada yet, as u still dey Nigeria), so the answer should be NO

hope this helps
Tkwadi:
Good morning house, Pls I want to confirm if there is anywhere to include my child details when filling my ee profile and also what do I choose in the "valid job offer part". Thanks

I dont see it as a problem ooooo... I stutter too (though not that bad ooo) especially when am nervous or angry.

Keypoints i told myself.

1. Be calm and try to practice it by counting ur words u say
2. Try and imagine u are having a conversation with a close friend that is listening to u

In the end, i got a 7.5 in speaking by God's grace though. But in all, i'd say its no big deal... he just gotta dedicate time to work on his MIND. Thats the KEY

revlane:
Guys abeg
I have a friend who wants to start this PR journey but he stammers. How can he go about IELTS speaking test?
Any advice please, will the examiners understand.

That guy was really trying to swindle u. Did mine on Tuesday for just myself and i paid just 3k. The highest one should pay is 3,500 per person and its all based on ur negotiating skills

yimiton:
My people, pleas I'm in Alagbon and the guy that is attending to me said it's now N8,500. I feel like I'm being swindled. He's not taking me to any other office. Insists he's the officer-in-charge and there's no information anywhere.

Has it actually been increased from N5000 to N8500?

Guys, I just got my ielts result. I had 7.5,8,7 7.5 in LRWS. With this my Crs is just 390, I'm 26 and have 3 years experience. Would a remark do me any good as a score of 8 would take my crs up to 435. Is it advisable to ask for a remark of my listening

Sincerely, remark in listening is not really advisable. I'd advise u sit for another ielts and this time, aim for atleast LWRS 8.5 7.5 8.0 7.5. That would catapult u to a CRS of over 441.

From Oshodi, just take a straight bus or car going to Lekki - Ajah. Tell them to stop u at Glover road junction in Ikoyi. When u come down at Glover junction, just ask around for British council office at Thompson avenue. (Though u can use ur google map from there shaaa... Its much better)

Hope this direction helps

In my case, it took roughly 1month for WAEC to receive the verification request (coz WES used normal courier to send it). Afterwards, i had to literally follow up with WAEC, and everything was over within a week after WAEC received the request.
However, verifying WAEC is so so unnecessary, but since u have started shaaaa, just finish it

Brian10:
Hello!
Please does anyone know how long it takes for WAEC to send a written verification to WES so they can begin my evaluation?
Also, how long before the request from wES is delivered to WAEC?

I can get reference for all... But what i wanna be sure of is that does it mean that the gaps between the job roles does not matter at all and i can still claim points for my 3yr work experience?

Beem4cupid:
To be eligible for FSW, you must have atleast ONE year CONTINUOUS experience in a particular NOC. If you can get letters for all,you are good to go

Good day everyone... I've been a silent follower on this thread from the onset
Please i have a sort of complicated issue which i'd like to share, and would appreciate everyone's opinion on this
Up until last week, my crs score has been 413
I logged in to my profile only to see that it had been bumped up to 438
upon further checks, i noticed that my score for work experience had been increased from 25 to 50
Hence i got ITA in the last draw
My question/dilenma now is that the 3yrs work experience is not continuous
Its April 2013 - Feb 2014,
March 2015 - October 2015
January 2016 - November 2016
And November 2016 - till date
My question is that, can this work experience that has gaps in it fly for 3yrs work experience?
I'd really appreciate honest opinions and would like to know if anyone has been in my shoes too as i am in a fix as to the way forward with this ITA
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by bighead2: 11:21am On Oct 15, 2016
Hi

I think i can relate to your complaints... I was in that same boat a very short while ago... My Evaluation has been on since April this year.
Believe me, what happened in ur case is same that happened in mine... WES said they sent verification request, school said they didnt get anything. I was in this limbo for over 4months, until i called WES to send the request via Express Courier (Mind u, I advise u contact them via telephone, not EMAIL). They provided a link on my profile to make the payment of $85. To cut the long story short, b4 i could make the payment, my contact in my school told me they just received the request and this was almost 4months after wes supposedly sent it.

My advice to u is this... Kindly call WES and tell them to send it via express courier and they'll charge u $85. Else, u may end up waiting endlessly like me.
Thanks

Curlie:
Hi Tiwatope, do you mean you had your Unilag cert completely assessed by WES in less than 2months? Was it BSc or MSc?

Mine was BSc and it has taken forever. At the moment, WES is still waiting for verification from school and school says they havent got anything from WES . Kindly guide me on how you did it.Did you pay for Courier or regular mail, do you have any contact person that may be able to help?

Please help me.

quote author=Tiwalope post=50038665]I did.mine less thañ 2 months quote author=Curlie post=49914312]

@JesusDWay, you didnt quite get my question. I am wondering why it is taking forever for WES to evaluate my Unilag degree, i have been on it for over 4 months and wondering if anyone here has had their Unilag transcript evaluated faster by WES. Currently, the status on WES is 'Waiting for verification from institution' and Unilag is saying they have not received anything from WES.

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!! undecided THANKS A LOT AND GOD BLESS

Boss, please I want to see if i can save 87CDN. What is the risk of choosing the standard shipping option of 7CDN apart from being slower? Has anyone chosen that option and got the hard copy reports before?

Your response will be appreciated.

The only difference is that the 87CDN is if u want the hard copy of your ECA report delivered to you via Express Courier (i.e in 3days), while that of 7CDN is if you prefer it delivered to u via normal standard courier(e.g NIPOST which may take between 3weeks to one month).
However, don't forget that a soft copy would be sent to you via email immediately the report is ready.

Major point to note for those yet to carry out ECA (especially with WES or IQAS)... PLEASE and PLEASE, don't bother adding ur WAEC (its as useless as the 'P' in the pronounciation of the word 'Psychology'
I spent over 30k in total for just WAEC, and i still mourn that wastage till now.
Only send ur highest qualification, or if u have 2 degrees, send the two of them... Please no need for WAEC

justicia:
great result. As for WES, those guys are messed up. You may have to pay for express courier. In my case I had to pay them to resend my docs to OOU by express courier since the first one they sent did not get there. And guess what, I had to call them to ask for tracking details, as if I don't have a right to it, after paying 96 more dollars. Anyways they gave me the tracking details sha and upon tracking today i saw that FedEx deliverd my docs to OOU since Wednesday. Next thing na to follow up for OOU to send WES confirmation. If you want it fast try pay for express courier, cos I am not sure how long it takes when they use regular mail or email

We would like to assure you that we are not indifferent to your feelings and concerns. We are all witnesses to a good number of talents that were selected by the brands present. Some of the brands who were not represented at the job fair have indicated interest in recruiting from the Talent pool. We hope to read your testimonials when the offers start coming. Thank you.
