I repeat it's a win win deal because you procure cheap, quality goods we shall advise on, send to us in Kigali via RWANDAIR or Kenyan Airway.

We do the selling. We do the Promo. We do the advertising. What we sell isn't your concern. Your concern is you get for Goods supplied.

For the records, Only quality certified goods should be supplied. We don't have strength for Rwandan authorities if Goods fall short of standards.

For locally produced products like clothing, we shall Advice on proper, premium Carton packaging for it.

Versace, St Laurent, Ben Shaman them don't have two heads!

You don't have to be a tailor to bid for contract like supplies of Senators, Etibo, Ankara wears or anything bids that falls under African wears. But you must be an entrepreneur.

Let me tell you what to do. Make sure you register as a micro or small scale vendor before the closing date.
Get a bad ass fashion (designer), he/she makes the clothes and tags for you or your Company, get a printing press to design a clothing packaging Cartons, well branded for your products, package it and you'll fine.

For further enquires or any questions send us a mail on our email or WhatsApp. Our response to enquires is usually under 1 HR.

Cheers

Don't forget Registration closes today!

BusinessRe: Before You Come To Kigali: Advice! by Bigkoko(op): 9:46am On Apr 19, 2022
Just before you come to establish a business here....

After a careful research conducted by one of the best Researcher; Mr Koko himself, we conclude that:

1. It might take a micro scale business with physical presence in Kigali between 6-12 months of operations to return a profit.

2. Make sure a whooping 70% of your customers is domiciled outside of RWANDA at least within EAC if you can not target more Developed Countries!

3. The workers (locals) here are 200% less than an IDEAL Skilled/technical Worker in terms of capacity, flexibility, decision making, street Smartness Etc than you might be used to.
For instance, If you give a Nigerian a smart phone- after three days the young man would have a service or goods he's trading online. The Same can not be said of those here. They all have smart phones; I'm actually impressed but Truth is they don't know much what to do with it.
These are real life situation here.

Let me share a story a Nigerian who visited Kigali told me last year.

Let's call him Smart Dude (I know he's reading this message too. Please permit me to share your experience in Kenya).

He booked a flight from Lagos to Kigali via Nairobi. While observing & waiting for his connecting flight to Kigali after a brief stop at Jomo Kenyatta Airport Nairobi, he noticed several foreigners, mainly from North Africa (Egyptians) also going to Kigali had not registered in the flight locator and this was causing some hipcupps for them.

Smart Dude promptly approached them and told them he can fix it for them at a cost of $20 each. He brought out his phone or laptop and did it for the first person, it worked and others can forward for same service. You know what that means. Less than 30 minutes he has about $100 from them. The immigration people was just looking at him. This was what even themselves can do.

Was it entirely legal for Mr Smart Dude to work in Kenya with his traveling Status at that point? No. Did Mr Smart Dude broke any law given that scenario? I dare say no also!

That's how I judge smartness!

We're Bigkoko, always here to Carter to needs of diverse customer!

akata1:
No food stuffs
We're not at the STAGE where Items are listed.

Registration with us first, validation and the items would be dropped on monthly basis for Open bidding.

Let's say, we needed 200kg of cheap cocoa powder products packaged in 400g & 200g sachet... those types produced in Lagos and hawked in buses (don't laugh please, we only sell what we feel the purchasing power of people here can carry!)

All registered vendor would drop a bid for it here (Not Inbox), we will drop contract specifications.

So if only one vendor meets the bid specifics, he/she gets to deliver the 200kg of the cocoa powder products. It's that simple. If two vendors meet specifics, they both split it among them selves 100kg each.

Once a vendor wins a bid, a contract letter to supply would be issued so he/she can source with it if needed.

It's a simple non complicated process!

Under Micro Scale Vendor Category we need just only 7 Entrepreneurs!

Take advantage of this Policy! It's Free money from Govt.

Forex repatriation: CBN to commence payment of N65 rebate to exporters next week.

The CBN governor expressed the bank’s determination to ensure the success of the initiative.

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has announced that it would commence the payment of N65 rebate to exporters who sold their goods through the importers and exporters (I&E) window, at the end of the first quarter.

The initiative which is under the apex bank’s RT200 FX Programme which stands for the “Race to US$200 billion in FX Repatriation”, is a set of policies, plans and programmes for non-oil exports that will enable Nigeria attain a lofty yet attainable goal of US$200 billion in FX repatriation, exclusively from non-oil exports, over the next 3-5 years.

According to NAN, this was made known by the CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele, after signing the Term Sheet between the Infrastructure Corporation of Nigeria (InfraCorp) and the Independent Asset Managers, on Friday in Lagos.

CBN RT200 FX policy
Fidelity Bank sensitizes customers on emerging opportunities in non-oil exports and CBN RT200 FX Policy.

CBN Governor says payment to start next week
Emefiele in his statement said, ‘’You will recall that we effectively started in March, but, I have said that by the latest, after the end of the quarter, we will issue cheques.

“We will make payments to all those who have exported, their proceeds have come in and they sold them through the I &E window to import goods and services into the country.

“So, the first set of payment for the rebate will be done by next week and we are actually making it public so that Nigerians can know.

“And so that they can also encourage other exporters to say that the era when you export and your rebate never comes in five years, that that era is gone.’’

The CBN governor expressed the bank’s determination to ensure the success of the initiative, adding that the kind of numbers that the apex bank got from the banks showed the policy was working very well.

What you should know
Recall that in February 2022, the CBN officially announced the launching of the RT200 FX Programme”, in a bid to get $200 billion in FX repatriation.
The RT200 Programme is expected to have 5 key anchors namely; Value-Adding Exports Facility, Non-Oil Commodities Expansion Facility, Non-Oil FX Rebate Scheme, Dedicated Non-Oil Export Terminal and Biannual Non-Oil Export Summit
Emefiele pointed out that the decision to launch the programme was in line with the apex bank’s new commitment to boost the country’s foreign reserves through proceeds from non-oil exports.
The CBN intends that the new RT200 FX Programme will be similar to the Naira4Dollar scheme for diaspora remittances,  which offers recipients of diaspora remittances through CBN’s International Money Transfer Operators to be paid N5 for every $1 received as remittance inflow.

Passion fruit has a variety of uses related to its appealing taste as whole fruit and juice.

In Australia and New Zealand, it is available commercially both fresh and tinned. It is added to fruit salads, and fresh fruit pulp or passion fruit sauce is commonly used in desserts, including as a topping for pavlova (a regional meringue cake) and ice cream, a flavouring for cheesecake, and in the icing of vanilla slices. A passionfruit-flavored soft drink called Passiona has also been manufactured in Australia since the 1920s. It can be used in some alcoholic cocktails.

In Brazil, the term maracujá applies to passion fruit (maracujá azedo, or "sour"wink and granadillo (maracujá doce, or "sweet"wink. Passion fruit mousse is a common dessert, and passion fruit pulp is routinely used to decorate the tops of cakes. Passion fruit juice, ice pops and more recently soft drinks are also popular. When making a caipirinha, passion fruit may be used instead of lime.

In Cambodia the red and yellow passionfruit grown in the Mondulkiri Province are used to produce wine and liquor.

In Colombia and Costa Rica, it is one of the most important fruits, especially for juices and desserts. It is widely available all over the country and three kinds of "maracuyá" fruit may be found.
In the Dominican Republic, where it is locally called chinola, it is used to make juice and fruit preserves. Passion fruit-flavored syrup is used on shaved ice, and the fruit is also eaten raw, sprinkled with sugar.

In East Africa, passion fruit is used to make fruit juice and is commonly eaten as a whole fruit. Here in Rwanda, we eat it as a fruit, or part of fruits in a dessert and have processed in into fruit juices.

In Hawaii, where it is known as liliko'i, passion fruit can be cut in half and the seeds scooped out with a spoon. Lilikoi-flavoured syrup is a popular topping for shave ice. It is used as a dessert flavouring for malasadas, cheesecakes, cookies, ice cream and mochi. Passion fruit is also favoured as a jam or jelly, as well as a butter. Lilikoi syrup can also be used to glaze or to marinate meat and vegetables.

In India, the government of Andhra Pradesh started growing passion fruit vines in the Chintapalli (Vizag) forests to make fruit available within the region.[9] The fruit is eaten raw, sprinkled with sugar and is also used to make juice.
In Indonesia, where it is known as markisa, there are two types of passion fruit: white flesh and yellow flesh. The white one is normally eaten straight as a fruit, while the yellow variety is commonly strained to obtain its juice, which is cooked with sugar to make thick syrup.

In Mexico, passion fruit is used to make juice or is eaten raw with chili powder and lime.

In Paraguay, passion fruit is used principally for its juice, to prepare desserts such as passion fruit mousse, cheesecake, ice cream, and to flavour yogurts and cocktails.

In Peru, passion fruit has long been a staple in homemade ice pops called "marciano" or "chupetes". Passion fruit is also used in several desserts, especially mousses and cheesecakes. Passion fruit juice is also drunk on its own and is used in ceviche variations and in cocktails, including the Maracuyá sour, a variation of the Pisco sour. (Granadilla, or "sweet"wink can be eaten raw.

In the Philippines, passion fruit is commonly sold in public markets and in public schools. Some vendors sell the fruit with a straw to enable sucking out the seeds and juices inside.
In Portugal, especially the Azores and Madeira, passion fruit is used as a base for a variety of liqueurs and mousses.
In Puerto Rico, where the fruit is known as "parcha", it is used in juices, ice cream or pastries.

In South Africa, passion fruit, known locally as Granadilla (the yellow variety as Guavadilla), is used to flavour yogurt. It is also used to flavour soft drinks such as Schweppes' "Sparkling Granadilla" and numerous cordial drinks (in cordial flavours it is referred to as passion fruit). It is often eaten raw or used as a topping for cakes and tarts. Granadilla juice is commonly available in restaurants. The yellow variety is used for juice processing, while the purple variety is sold in fresh-fruit markets.

In Sri Lanka, passion fruit juice, along with faluda, is one of the most popular refreshments. Passion fruit cordial is manufactured both at home as well as industrially by mixing the pulp with sugar.

Description.

Passiflora edulis is a perennial vine; tendrils are borne in leaf axils, and have a red or purple hue when young. There are two main varieties: a purple-fruited type, P. edulis f. edulis, and the yellow-fruited P. edulis f. flavicarpa.

Usually the vine produces a single flower 5–7.5 cm wide at each node. The flower has 5 oblong, green sepals and 5 white petals. The sepals and petals are 4-6mm in length and form a fringe. Te base of the flower is a rich purple with 5 stamens, an ovary, and a branched style. The styles bend backward and the stigmas, which are located on top of the styles, have a very distinct head.

The fruit produced is entirely fleshy (making it botanically a berry), and is spherical to ovoid. The outside color of the berry ranges from dark-purple with fine white specks to light yellow. The fruit is 4–7.5 cm in diameter; purple fruits are smaller, weighing around 35 grams, while yellow fruits are closer to 80 grams.

The smooth, leathery rind is 9–13 mm thick, including a thick layer of pith. Within the berry, there are typically 250 black seeds, each 2.4 mm in length. Each seed is surrounded by a membranous sac filled with pulpy juice. The flavor of the juice is slightly acidic and musky. The passion fruit's flavor can be compared to the guava fruit.

What is passion fruit?
Culled from Wikipedia.

Passiflora edulis, commonly known as passion fruit, is a vine species of passion flower native to southern Brazil through Paraguay and northern Argentina.

It is cultivated commercially in tropical and subtropical areas for its sweet, seedy fruit. The fruit is a pepo, a type of berry, round to oval, either yellow or dark purple at maturity, with a soft to firm, juicy interior filled with numerous seeds. The fruit is both eaten and juiced, the juice often added to other fruit juices to enhance aroma.
