pls i have over 1million naira in my account and i want to apply for us tourist visa, what is d way to go about it and what is my chance of getting the visa, i have not travel before but i have mexico visa i've not use on my passport.

@Bigolly i actually went from Brazil because then i was in Brazil for the World Cup. As for the immigration, you must have a genuine hotel reservation that correspond wit the date of arrival and departure, $1000 as BTA, make sure returning date on your flight ticket correspond with the checking out date on your hotel reservation, be sure you know how you going to spend your time in Mexico like where you wanna visit as tourist and lastly, hold your work ID card or Complementary card as they will wanna know if you are actually working in Nigeria. Note: they will be asking thesame question on different occassion so make sure you know what you are saying and please don't tell them you are staying for morethan 2 weeks at most.

Then your best bet is South African airways from Nigeria to Brazil and from Brazil to Mexico 'directly' through Aeromexico.Don't ever follow any 'join join' route to colombia or any other south american country.And as for the ticket please 'don't ever give any agent your money to buy you ticket' 'most of them have never left Lagos and are soo dubious most times'.Simply go to South african airways office at Murtala Mohammed airport. There you will see two women issuing tickets to people, insist on the plumpy woman between them to issue you the ticket, she is soo good at what she does that she can find a ticket as cheap as 380k for you through this route I mentioned even during the summer.

I went to Mexico in june 2014 on vacation and i must say Mexico is very lovely country. Everything is cheap including hotel, their language is spanish which is the only problem i had because 90 percent of people you see on the street dont speak english but apart from the language barrier, i enjoyed every moment of my stay in Mexico city. Their citizens are not Racist and they love black people, imagine you walking on the street and they will be begging you to please come and take a picture with them, i mean as a black you will feel like Superstar. I love their food and their culture. I have been to spain, france, turkey, germany, italy and brazil but i still believe Mexico is the best place i have ever visited. Am not trying to encourage or discourage anybody that might want to visit Mexico, am just trying to share what i experienced while in Mexico. I actually spent 8 days there and i made some friends there and we still talk alot till now. If you ever plan on going to Mexico, make sure you have your BTA and Hotel reservation in place and dont go there with morethan one checked in lugagge because their immigration is the most difficult i've ever met but if you can prove that you are just there for holiday, you will be allow to enter else you will come back home with the next flight.[/quote]thanks for sharing your experiences in mexico here not like some guys running their mouth base on assumption , which route and airline did u travel with then, did u have to get a transit visa? and what are the things or questions to expect from the immigration at the point of entry.am aware they do deport many people at the point of entry, apart from wat u've mention,what can someone do to avoid that

pls i summitted my application at VI centre and the lady that received my documents asked if am submitting the originals and i told her if i need 2 summit it and she said is my choice, so i went away with the original documents, hope thats normal?

Guys, i was here in May 2015 when i made my first application which was refused and refusal stamped at the back of my passport. I came back here this month to gather more intelligence as i was about to make my second application. I was patient and saw what i didn't see during my first application.

I also went to church to lay my passport at the altar because this trip is important for my career.

I submitted my application on Oct 19th with account transactions explanations, cover letter et al and collected it today and my visa was granted!

Hello everyone..i picked up our passports today and we got the visas ! I was so nervous !. The balance on my account was about 1m and my wife's was just 100k. I also made one or two silly mistakes at the point of submission. I drafted the cover letter based on advices here and i explained the other funds that came into my account asides my salary.

All thanks to God, Justwise, Frontpagelawyer and others on this thread who provided advices. I am most grateful.

If you're not on a ban. You'll have to go through the legal system for correction.

you will pay your visa fee in Naira at uba if they will give u d visa, mexico embassy dont collect visa fee if they wont give u visa

please a lady mistakenly write only one name instead of two given names on her passport when filling the application form and she had submitted and paid for the application before she discovered and her appointment date is on wednesday, what can she do?

Now that you already have your appointment letter,the next thing is documentation.Contrary to what you probably think.there are only four major documents you need,other documents though necessary but not compulsory are just what i call "garnishing documents" .the first is : Your international passport. second and most important is: Your statement of account.the third is: Letter of introduction. the fourth is: Letter of self sponsorship. i shall be talking on each of these four in my subsequent posts as they have some technicalities and secrets behind them.
