[quote author=naijacutee]As a web company with a limited physical presence (if I presume correctly), how can their overheads in a country where the cost of living is relatively low, possibly swallow up their strategy? I still don't get it.

A daily deal website needs a ground crew to canvass companies for deals, I think I remember when they came out that they where looking for agents in various parts of the country, that's major running costs.

naijacutee: But Dealdey is copying Groupon too... are they at risk?
Very much, a lot of factors militate against that business model like inbox weariness also a typical business owner would want to maximize profit not minimize it, and the daily deals structure doesn't benefit the average business, it attracts bargain/price hunters not loyal & repeat customers.

The Business model they are all copying, Groupon is not a viable one, so they'd all just go the same way with it

Tolexander: Many of you here don't/won't know the billboard, of course it is long mehn. Probably your mother hasn't got a bra size.
Wow! I can remember this board was just by the roadside when one is about to get to cameroun from Lagos, then smile back at the baby and say nigerian baby(lugard), here i am.
Then, great grannies were still grannies, grannies were papas, papas were pikin, pikins were babies, babies were foetus while foetus were just seminal and follicula particles.
Cameroun shares a border with lagos?

Agassa: Thanks guys, for sharing useful links and everything. I've been able to sideload about 150 apps on my playbook.

However, the issue i am having presently is,I have been downloading all the files directly on my playbook(because I don't have a computer presently and I can only use the one in my office for sideloading)and I can't seem to download files of over 100MB on it.

The highest I have downloaded so far is 'Blood and Glory',which is about 104MB. I'm presently bridging the PB with a curve 7 and a glo sim and I must confess, the browsing experience has been awesome,if I may say so myself, because I'm always on 3G and the browsing speed is lightning fast.

Is any other person on this thread experiencing the same problem or is it just me? Can anyone send me bar files of 100MB and above on a flash drive or something....anything? I'm willing to pay. I currently reside in Portharcourt.

P.S: I've used up two separate Glo complete bis monthly subscriptions already and this month is not even over yet! Any suggestions on Glo bis unlimited plans,if any, would be highly appreciated.
I could only download when I switched to etisalat BIS in Port Harcourt.
I've modern combat, 9mm, and some others but they're in a Computer I left in Ph, I'm nt in the country now, where in PH are you? I could get any of my staff or my siblings to get across to you.
