Akchi32: I've finally booked for 4th August. Thanks.
For those who are finding it difficult to book an appointment, please keeping trying you'll definitely find a date. Please how were you able to make payment for both IHS and application fees? What bank card did you successfully use? |

klas: Nsempas are correct.
Note 11.3 of the financial statements gives enough information for analysis.
1.JP owed Access and Standard Chartered banks
2. The 2 banks took over some of its assets (dredgers, barges and building) at a value of N55.712b to cover the amount owed.
3. The carrying value of those assets in the books of JP before the banks took them over was N12.69b.
4. The difference between the gross value of the loans at which value the banks took over the assets less the carrying amount is N43b which JP recognised as other income.
You can see that JP lost some of its assets while the banks lost the difference between the loan amount and the assets value.
N43b other income is a paper profit as it just involved writing back the accrual for interest (now waived) which JP had been doing over the years, it is not cash backed.
JP may not even be in a position to pay 1kobo dividend unless it borrows because it has negative cash flow without receivables.
The receivable of N10.4b it reflected in the account is largely audio because subsidiary and associate members of the group owe N8.5b out of it (essentially JP owes itself). Only 686m is trade receivable.
Disclosure: I joined JP bus in 2008 (no disembarking) and without doing due diligence bought additional 1m @ 0.24k. JP should let me know its juju man. I need him A very clear and concise analysis. Thanks for this |

mimilyrics: 1. No special advantage except that you'd be sure that you didn't miss out any document. You can use TinyScan app to scan, resize and save as pdf. You will pay to have it scanned at the VAC.
2. No limit to the number of documents but there's a size limit of about 5mb for each upload. Whatever you pay for the VAC assisted service upload (£25.20 / N11,700) covers all documents to be scanned. Thank you for the concise response. 1. Are laminated documents accepted by the VAC officials for scanning and upload from applicants? 2. Is a tier 4 visa applicant required to submit/upload a birth certificate/age declaration document during visa application? |

Hi all, please when applying for the Tier 4 visa,
1. Is there any special advantage of using the self service to upload one's documents in comparison to submitting at the visa application center and having them upload the required documents at the visa application center?
2. Is there a limit to the number of documents that one can upload using the self service option? Cos I don't know if the visa application center can upload more documents than one using the self service option to do it by one's self at home before going for biometrics..
Please those with experience on this should help |

Dileem: Thanks. It's open. But I use the web application on my laptop. Do you mean the mobile Morgan app? Simply double-click on the ticker of the stock you want to view or trade in and the bid/offer quantity and prices will be displayed at the bottom left of your screen. The bottom right displays all trades going on in the market as they are being executed. You will see them rolling by, slow or fast depending on how dull or active market participants are for the moment or day |

RabbiDoracle: As a preacher he calls himself he should show high degree of tolerance to people's way of life. You don't denigrate others just to prove that you are the superior Christian.
The Indians, Chinese, Nepalese, Arabs, amazonians, Europeans etc have their ways of living or worship. We should not say our religion is better than theirs. When you see them do their thing, just smile and allow them.
This life is very simple but some people make it complicated.
I couldn't agree more with you sir. Egbe bere, Ugo bere (Live and let's live is the way to go) |

dunsin125: Bros abeg, you have to save me ni oooo... I started reading but I got tired. Will o need to fill the e-dividend for every bank I buy shares or it's just once. And you want to make money at the bolded? You had better develop a strong and dedicated reading habit if you want to survive in investing generally. Yes, you have to fill e-dividend forms for every company's shares that you buy from your stockbroker. The register of all shareholders in every company is kept, updated and maintained by other companies called Registrars who are mandated to do so by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Most registrars maintain the shareholding books for multiple companies as their clients e.g First Registrars is the registrar for First bank (FBNH), Fidelity Bank, Oando etc. So assuming you owned shares in both First Bank and Fidelity Bank, you simply complete one e-dividend form with all the companies listed under First Registrars and then tick the boxes beside the companies in which you own shares in. Then either submit directly to the registrar at their office or through your bank to upload. Same way African Prudential Registrars (Afriprud) is the registrar for UBA, UCAP, AFRIPRUD, AFRILAND, TRANSCORP etc |

dunsin125: And even Nigerian stocks, do I need to fill any form to receive dividend. You mentioned using a phone app called Chaka. I know nothing about Chaka as I don't use them. I use a regular and normal Nigerian stockbroker as most people on here also do e.g Morgan Capital, mytradebook, meristem etc With these mentioned stockbrokers, you can register with them and trade directly by yourself on their trading platform. I will strongly advice you do exactly as madam Mcy56 advised. Go about 200 pages back from here and read till date. Then also do the same from page 1 to about 100 too. Most of what you want to know will be there. Then you can come back on here and ask more questions which would show that you have actually read back as advised. And yes, you will need to fill e-dividend forms for the stocks you eventually get to buy with your stockbroker |

Agbalowomeri: Though I am bullish The data is saying CAUTION Reasons: 1) Headwind cloud resistance on the weekly which was rejected this week 2) RSI appears to be divergent from price movement on the daily (a second opinion is welcomed here)
The new week needs momentum, else we may be headed for a flat market (dividend may have been priced in already) before a dip to the second bottom.
Disclosure; I have no buying or selling stake in the short term. My UACN is for Q2 But the RSI line is pointing in the same direction as the candlesticks in the chart. How do you mean divergent sir? Please I'm learning oo |
