Our cultural system does not really align with a man inheriting a wife's wealth or sharing part in a case of divorce; the children are the rightful inheritors or beneficiaries.

A man is meant to be independent of wife's wealth

Our culture is simple here, after demise of a husband, his first family (wife(s) and the children) automatically inherits his properties except if will states otherwise.

In the case of divorce, a man by legal responsibility, takes care of the wellbeing of the estranged wife and sponsor their kids, sufficiently but does not equate to a particular sharing formula, most especially when they do not have any joint venture.

This is in contradiction to what happens in western world, they settle for a sharing formula because it is believed they both own their wealth by the virtue of marriage.

In my opinion, divorce should not be seen by the fellow female folks as a means of exploitation and also, male folks should not see spouse's wealth as a gold site to mine
