@tobs i bet u'll really enjoy d phone d ones in d store now have got d latest firmware plus d phone is compatible with so many applications. make sure u buy at a reliable store like slots at ikeja or d palms shopping mall at Lekki.
@honsule probably went home on break n yet to be back. He stays at jos n i dont think theres celtel gprs there.

@tobs pls dont be deceived by the way Nokia names all these phones, ask anybody else they will tell u the same, N70 is far better. N72 is not even a 3G phone, it lost it all there. The price difference will also tell u the same. N70 is a very nice phone, i did some reviews before i bought it.I will be going for the N95 shortly but I will still retain my N70, ITS MY PET.

Guys the 32GB microSD is slated to be released at a starting price of $700.Thats even more xpensive than d iphone or PS3,funny init?

Currently using N70 upgrading to N95 soon.

@info have u seen the new microSD high capacity(SDHC) Its damn small i wonder how they managed to package such huge memory size into such tiny chip.The highest available now is 16GB.
@naijafan i think the NAND is a flash memory also used for storing files but since u got d phone with u why dont u explore it
@tope i'll advice u chill till they release the ME but be ready to package more dough as well. I really don't like buying phones at their first release its like using a beta software there are always bugs to be fixed.

Very well then, since u guys r so crazy about this phone i think i'll need to see it before i make my final comments but i still doubt if i'll accept it as a successor to the present king (Multimedia 95) because as far as i'm concerned the heir is still unborn!
To all ye N82 fans be ready to chill for another one year before u start getting nice third party applications for your handheld bearing in mind dt its a v9.2 symbian.
Another bad side about d phone is d keypad d buttons r too tiny.

@naijafan maybe u need to know dt my phone got d latest firmware so no crashes at all.let me reiterate that if i'm offered that ugly device (N82) for free i will sell it off immediately.The RAM issue has been fixed with the latest N95 firmware which now gives the phone about 100MB RAM coupled with demand paging features and according to Sandisk it now supports 8GB SDHC,until Nokia manufactures a worthy successor N95 rules the market,if u want to compare N82 with any phone then it got its rival the K850.

Hellooo!, have u checked out N95 classic,N95 8GB, N80, N70.These r all Nseries devices that combine beauty with abilities. Please @Poster go ahead n enjoy your new buy but don't u ever say Nseries arent fanciful. Talking about phone crashes my N70 has never crashed so i don't see that as any unique add on.

but wait a sec, your phone is locked which means u can't access it so how do u do all the copy n paste stuff then or are u suggesting using a memory card reader for this

Ok its working now,but honsule wait a minute dont be too quick to jump into conclusion here; in terms of functions opera mod is better than v8.65 but in terms of rendering web pages oga ni 8.65. Didnt u notice that opera mod opens a seperate blank page to allow typing of web addresses just like other opera minis,d address bars of 8.65 is just like dat of int explorer where u type in d bar n i hope u also noticed d 1kb data limit,lets call a spade a spade this is just a glorified opera mini

guys be careful, verify every code before you put it on your phone else your phone gets blocked.

i don't need the opera mod, my opera 8.65 and opera mini 4 are enough for me for now. but anyone who wants it can get it from here www.mosh.nokia.mobi

its not about enterin a verification code i did enter the code and cliced download via bla bla but i got a "page cannot be displayed error" try itm urself, info if u've got the file in your phone as in file manager send it to me as an attachment via email at abimbola_ak@yahoo.com thanks

@honsulue i just formatted my memory card due to some issues that has to do with routing PC internet connections to mobile phones, can u please send me the link for the opera 8.65 this mms thing is preventing me from downloading directly to my phone, pls send it to this number 07031985833 so i can download via broadbnd n install on my phone

It speaks for itself, n82 is no match for n95 not to talk of n95 8GB, forget the carl zeis optics it still does not have optical zoom feature and just a reminder that N95 also supports SDHC cards besides the 32GB SDHC stuff is a theoretical announcement and has not been implemented by any OEM, who knows maybethat will take another 2 to 3 years before they are available in stores not to talk of when they will be shipped down here.Nokia only made this phone to prove their mettle in the camera arena so pls let no one compare it to N95 or P1i.
