@dapsy guy don't sweat it, opera is known worldwide as the best makers of mobile browsers. besides opera 8.65 beats any mobile browser any day, the only worthy competitior would be the mobile internet explorer on windows mobile devices. Try it n see.

@All, the celtel link to get settings seems to have been disabled on the celtel website, whats happening,

@tobs i connected mine via usb maybe u shoulld try that as for the bluetooth i guess u,ll need somemore configurations

@wys what phone did u use to connect to ur lappy i've been trying it,it connects but doesn't browse,i use N70 and i connected via the pc suite but it didnt browse. So how did u get to use it to browse

Till they fix d third party application compatibility i'll stick to xp. N95 is not really a flip phone its more of a dual slide kind of stuff. No hard feelings but i still prefer my n70 to that multimedia toy called N82. N73 is not bad. Anyway i'm not thinking of upgrading yet.

Even microsoft admitted that i can't rmbr d link i'll post here when i do and a lot of users are downgrading or maybe "upgrading" to xp just to use peripherals or due to user interface issues, besides d sales reports have been poor compared to even windows 98. The earlier date announced by microsoft for the expiration of xp was jan 30 2008 but this date has now been officially pushed to 2010 to allow time for them(microsoft) to fix vista bugs giving windows xp a lifespan of 9 years(unusual 4 most microsoft OS). As for d n82 issue i would choose n95 anyday and i still prefer my n70.

This phone is just too ugly. The style,design n ergonomics are damn too poor,no wonder its so cheap.Nokia n their market strategies.Theres no much diff between its camera n that of N95 afterall it doesnt support optical zoom. N82 is another windows vista, a big mistake.

What do u guys think n which do u prefer the Nokia N95 classic or N95 8GB. I Kind of prefer phones which card slots,my current phone once suffered a virus threat but all d attack was directed at d memory card since that was where i was trying to download d application so my mem card got corrupted n i had 2 format it leaving my phone safe. Imagine if it were a phone without card expansion that would have been it. Anyway i still throw d question open which do u prefer?

Guys what r d mms settings u used,its not going on my phone,pls drop the settings here.

The celtel internet apn still remains d same they only disabled the internet sims and converted some to wap. Find out how to activate internet gprs and thats it.

Tope dats exactly my point i think they deactivated the line from internet gprs,d apn still remains d same i think,what we need now is how 2 activate d sim for internet.Tope u'll help us do that since they see u as a postpaid subscriber and the internet gprs is officially available to postpaid customers try n help us ask all d necessary questns like how to activate a postpaid line for internet gprs and d apn if theres any change n any other q's u deem necessary if theres any vital outcome pls keep us informed.Cha!

Guys i think celtel may have changed the APN for internet gprs my line still connects with wap which they bill but not internet so lets try and find out the new apn if there is. honsule please i need anything u can do to help regarding this celtel internet browsing stuff, u can email me with any useful stuff, thanks.

Does anyone have an idea when the 4GB DV-RS-MMC Memory card will be available in d market,thats the next memory card i plan on buying to replace my present 1GB for my N70. Any ideas?

@honsule i was expectin u to tell us uve successfully updated ur phone neway lets summarize this update thing in 5 easy steps;
Step 1. Back up your data: this is crucial,before u start doing anything u need to back up ur phone,there are two ways:
Memory card: To back up with ur memory card,go to tools-memory,select options-back up phone memory.Take out the mem card from d phone.
PC Suite: You can also use a PC Suite 4 back up.launch the pc suite,connect ur phone to d pc n select back up.
2. Charge your battery: It is important that u have a fully powered battery before beginning the update process,if u run out of battery in d middle of updating you can seriously harm ur phone(it probably wont even start up)
3. Download Nokia Software Updater-Install the updater; this piece of software will guide you thru the whole update process;u might need to unblock it in ur firewall.
4. Launch the Nokia Software Updater; from now on its really simple just follow the guide n u'll be fine; the whole update process takes several minutes to complete dont try to interrupt it at any point as YOU RISK DAMAGING YOUR PHONE.
PS: THE USB CABLE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
5. Restore your data; if u used a memory card for back up then simply go to Tools-memory-options-restore from card. If u used Pc suite connect ur phone to d pc and select back up n restore.
Now u have ur phone loaded with the newest software.To ascertain that just type *#0000# when in idle mode and check the displayed software version and match it with ur phones latest software.Hope it helps.
