I want to buy some items from jumia but my fear is that I do not want to be delivered imitation/fake products. I've really never bought any item online. Abeg who don buy from them? Please help![/quote Personally, Jumia is the best, bought loads of products from them. Even the phone I'm using (Nokia 5.1 plus) was bought from Jumia. You just have t be careful and look for the perfect product for you, also check seller score and reviews. I almost bought Nokia X5 then, but when I looked at the comment section I saw complaints about it being tampered with. So I went to check for others And if you buy it and see it's not what you expected, you can ways return it |
Eawwal:Hmmm. Múlẹ! |
sirvvy:Although I didn't join the beta program, I used the hybrid SIM slot workabout and once my SD card was in, I tried calling one day and I was the option. I was surprised, I wasn't expecting it till after a maintenance release |

The hotspot number of connections bug has been fixed for a while now. it's back to normal but I still need the "limit number of users" option |
uk10:didn't experience none of that. I updated yo android 10 and it's been fine. a maintenance release will go a long way in fixing any bugs |
LordHiffy:i guess that's for when it's in use. what about the current when it's not in use |
LordHiffy:download Accubattery please. It Shows the charge speed. The one I bought is just horrible. please when you download it, kindly screenshot the charging speed of both cables. thanks |
anyone using a magnetic cable here? Is it fast? |
osinawanta:the regular charging port type? do you mean the regular usb port and not type-c type? |
BenDanor:my android 9 didn't act up at all. Maybe you should upgrade. |
MOTIONTECH:I'm telling you, it fell down after I ordered for screen guard and pouch. that night it fell, I couldn't sleep. na like dream the touchpad was acting stupid for like 2 weeks. But it's good now.. |
![]() MOTIONTECH:the most unwanted thing . at least yours took a while I guess, mine was not a week old when it fell! mehn that heartbreak . should be fixed for a min if ₦10,00 Or more depends on your location. I fixed mine ₦13,000. I stay in Èkìtì tho. ![]() MOTIONTECH:the most unwanted thing . at least yours took a while I guess, mine was not a week old when it fell! mehn that heartbreak . should be fixed for a min if ₦10,00 Or more depends on your location. BenDanor:no glitches, but there are some bugs like "showing wrong number of connected devices to hotspot" proximity sensor sometimes acts weird ( though that hardly happens, and sometimes my UI stops working and I either wait or reboot |
BenDanor:you got it from "theguynextdoor"? I did also when wave 2 was taking ages. installed manually and I didn't clear data after installing |
RuneKingThor:your own matter tie gele o. I think maybe you should try using VPN app alongside other stuff to get the update. |
Nellsworld:I'm in no way disputing that, the earlier comment was that note 5 stylus doesn't have android 10 is what I was correcting. |
RuneKingThor:well, maybe your phone isn't original or you aren't using a note 5 stylus. I have seen my friend update to android 10 on his Infinix note 5 stylus 4gb/64gb. |
sharaff6:are you kidding me? miles better |
AzurV:with that 45k you'd have bought the Nokia 5.1 plus on jumia. Nokia 4.2 has a considerably smaller processor tho

The World Health Organisation says it met with 70 traditional medicine experts in a bid to find a cure for the coronavirus pandemic. WHO African Region made this known via its Twitter handle on Tuesday. The health organisation said an agreement was reached with the herbal medicine experts on clinical trials of their remedies. The PUNCH reports that the meeting is coming days after Madagascar said it found an herbal remedy capable of curing the disease. @WHOAFRO tweeted, “70 traditional medicine experts from countries across #Africa held a virtual meeting with @WHO on the role of traditional medicine in the #COVID19 response. “They unanimously agreed that clinical trials must be conducted for all medicines in the Region, without exception.” Earlier, Madagascar President Andry Rajoelina criticised WHO and other international organisations for allegedly scorning local “remedy” for COVID-19. “If it wasn’t Madagascar, and if it was a European country that had actually discovered this remedy, would there be so much doubt? I don’t think so,” he told French media in an interview. Before the meeting, WHO had repeatedly warned that the COVID-Organics infusion, which Rajoelina has touted as a remedy against the deadly coronavirus, has not been clinically tested. But Madagascar claimed the drink is derived from artemisia – a plant with proven anti-malarial properties – and other indigenous herbs. Already Equatorial Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Niger, and Tanzania have taken delivery of consignments of the potion, which was launched last month. Also, Nigeria’s president, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), has approved the importation of the remedy. https://punchng.com/who-meets-african-traditional-medicine-experts-for-covid-19-cure/ |
The African Union is in discussion with the Republic of Madagascar, through its embassy in Addis Ababa, with a view to obtain technical data regarding the safety and efficiency of a herbal remedy, recently announced by Madagascar for the reported prevention and treatment of COVID19. In this regard, the AU Commissioner for Social Affairs H.E Amira ElFadil convened a meeting with the Chargé d'Affaires of the Republic of Madagascar Mr. Eric Randrianantoandro on 30th April at which it was agreed that the member state would furnish the African Union with necessary details regarding the herbal remedy. Once furnished with the details, the Union, through the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC), will review the scientific data gathered so far on the safety and efficacy of the COVID-19 Organics. This review will be based on global technical and ethical norms to garner the necessary scientific evidence regarding the performance of the tonic. These developments follow the participation of Madagascar’s President H.E. Andry Rajoelina in a teleconference Meeting of the Bureau of the Assembly of AU Heads of State and Government with the Chairpersons of the AU Regional Economic Communities (RECs) on 29 April 2020, in which he participated as Chairperson of the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA), and where he made a presentation to his peers regarding the herbal remedy. The teleconference was convened by H.E. President Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa of the Republic of South Africa, and Chairperson of the African Union (AU), and had the aim of apprising the Chairpersons of the RECs about the actions and initiatives undertaken by the African Union in response to the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic on the continent. The meeting also provided a platform for the Chairpersons of the RECs to brief the Bureau about regional measures taken in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
