The job is going to run for a long time. The road project involved is the East-West road dualization-the biggest road project in Nigeria at the moment.
Interested truckers should continue calling.
BusinessRe: Haulage Trucks Needed To Work From Uturu (abia) To Ahoada (rivers) by Bishop7(op): 5:09pm On Feb 10, 2013
The route to and fro is good. There are no harrassment from traffic officials as is wont in Lagos. In Lagos, all your hard earned money goes to Lasma officials if your truck breaks down on the road. I've had very bitter haulage experience in Lagos. The route is a hauler's haven compared to Lagos.
BusinessHaulage Trucks Needed To Work From Uturu (abia) To Ahoada (rivers) by Bishop7(op): 8:31am On Feb 10, 2013
We are in need of haulage dump trucks from coperate bodies or individuals to haul mixed materials from the quarry at Uturu to the construction yard at Ahoada. Payment is made dailly on delivery based on the volume hauled, which is calculated by the tons delivered. It is preferrable to have those who have done this type of hauls in the past.
Interested persons should contact me on 08033435410 or 08059777899.
Car TalkRe: How Often Do You Look Under Your Bonnet? by Bishop7(m): 9:03am On Sep 28, 2012
I have a friend who had those rickety cars that required constant attention. He would lift his hood every day before going out to check oil, fluid, water and everything. Much later, he got an official car assigned to him that was brand new. He had developed a habit of checking the hood constantly so he continued. After checking the hood of the brand new car for a week and not finding anything wrong, he gave up: there was nothing to do there.
After about eighteen months of not lifting the hood, he got a temperature height alert on his dash. He rushed to the mechanic to complain. The mechanic raised the hood and noticed that the water level on the radiator was low. That was the only problem!
Raising the hood of ones car would depend on the type of car it is and the need for attention it requires. grin

The guy wrote a beautiful poem.
He balances misconception with his believes and doctrines.
The subject of whether we agree with him on his believes is irrelevant.
He rhymes well with his diction.
Nice!

PoliticsRe: Nwankwo Kanu Appointed A Special Adviser To Gov Rochas by Bishop7(m): 12:17pm On Jun 14, 2011
While Football and Sports generally differs, I think the appointment of Papillo is a step in the right direction. The truth is Football has more than 80% follower-ship in Nigeria. Athletics has less than 10%. Other sporting activities may take up the remaining 5%.
Kanu's appointment is sound because he can interface with big clubs in Europe for screening and subsequent contracts for talents in Imo state. If he was able to get hi younger brother a club then he can equally do it for other budding youngsters.
Again, Kanu from experience know the bureaucratic bottlenecks involved with LOC and will be in a better position to advice the government on it.
Kudos to Rochas and Kanu!
PoliticsRe: Tata, Dangote, Essar Among Bidders For The Sale Of Nigeria Power Companies by Bishop7(m): 10:40am On Jun 07, 2011
I think you folks have the whole idea all wrong. What the BPE intends to do is to break the Power Holden Company into parts. The Generation, Transmission and Distribution departments. While the Transmission and Distribution will be privatized, the Generation will still remain in the management of the government owned PHCN.

Come to think of it, how will independent Power companies generate their own power? Will they own their own private Dams and grids. The effort of the Epe power plant while being bold has not fully assuaged the needs of Power on the Island.  The cost of running independent power cables from power stations will be monumental. Joint usage of facilities like the Tele-companies will not be possible as a problem caused by Company A may affect supply of power by Company B.

In effect, the government will generate and let the private companies transmit and distribute. Even at that, it is hoped that the Government will have a body set up to will act as a check to regulate the rates and practices of these companies.
HealthRe: Hiv Positive Guy In Dilenma And Needs your Help. by Bishop7(m): 10:17am On May 16, 2011
Good news!
2010; A group of German bio-chemist were able to restructure the DNA of HIV patients and were able to arrest and suppress the virus for type 1 and 2 but recorded failure with fully blown AIDS. The thing is that while they may have found solution for the initial onset of AIDS, the AIDS itself is evasive.

The morals of it is that if you know your status on time, you stand a chance of a wellness and being by getting proper solution to the problems. The patent on the new drug is not out (I'm not aware if it is now) but they hope it will in the near future.

Meanwhile, there are lots of retro viral drugs that can keep you healthy and safe till proper solutions comes up.

Spread the news, not the virus!
HealthRe: Fascinating To Hear That My Baby Has A Bad Breath! by Bishop7(m): 10:06am On May 16, 2011
A child that young should not be exposed to harsh, alcoholic mouth washes and rinses. Bad breaths are caused by bacterias. The best solution is fighting bacteria with counter-reactive bacterias. These bacterias can be obtained in sour yoghurt's that are unsweetened. It will kill off the offensive bacteria within a month's administration.
Another cause may be an infection within the larynx or respiratory system. In this case it is advisable to see a Ear, Nose and throat doctor.
Good luck.
PoliticsImo Gubernatorial Results! by Bishop7(op): 4:44pm On May 06, 2011
Hi Guys!

We have been trying to follow the Gubernatorial results in Imo State but the press and INEC are not feeding us with the updates. Please, anyone that knows how the results are unfolding should keep us informed. I have it on good authority that in the Ward in Oguta where it was to be re-run, Security men were there on time but left at about 12.30p.m when it was apparent that INEC was not coming. Later, INEC people came at about 2.30p.m but the women there told them they (the women) were no longer interested in voting and that they should leave. So in Oguta, there was no election. I also understand that Owele Rochas Okorocha was at Ohaji/Egbema to monitor the elections himself.

Anyone with fresh news should please post.

Nairaland GeneralRe: I Want To Die by Bishop7(m): 9:01am On Jan 19, 2011
So, he is finally gone? Good riddance!

Kieffer Sutherland A.K.A Jack Baurer wanted so desperately to be killed off after episode 3 of the award winning 24 Hrs season. He raked in over $40m dollars in the 3 seasons making him the highest paid actor in a long while. I think the OP feels as comfy as Jack Baurer with the reaction to his past tribalistic life on Nairaland and wants to kill the character. It is only the character that plans to die and not the person. He will probably resurface as another character on Nairaland. Nothing to worry about.

In case its the real person that plans to die; while you are at it, attempt to peddle cocaine through Istanbul. If you are successful, death may not be an option any longer. On the other hand, if you fail, your wish comes through. It is a win win situation. Just my two pence!
RomanceRe: Help! I'm Above 30 And Under Pressure To Get Married by Bishop7(m): 5:53pm On Jan 18, 2011
A store that sells new husbands has just opened in New York City, where a woman may go to choose a husband. Among the instructions at the entrance is a description of how the store operates: "You may visit this store ONLY ONCE! There are six floors and the value of the products increases as the shopper ascends the flights. The shopper may choose any item from a particular floor, or may choose to go up to the next floor, but you cannot go back down except to exit the building!"
So, a woman goes to the store to find a husband. On the first floor the sign reads: "These men Have Jobs". The second floor sign reads: "These men Have Jobs and Love Kids". The third floor sign reads: "These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, and are Extremely Good Looking."

"Wow," she thinks, but feels compelled to keep going.

At the fourth floor the sign reads: "These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, are Drop-dead Good Looking and Help With Housework."
"Oh, mercy me!" she exclaims, "I can hardly stand it!"

Still,

She goes to the fifth floor and the sign reads: "These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, are Drop-dead Gorgeous, Help with Housework, and Have a Strong Romantic Streak." She is so tempted to stay, but she goes to the sixth floor and the sign reads: "You are visitor 31,456,012 to this floor. There are no men on this floor. This floor exists solely as proof that women are impossible to please. Thank you for shopping at the Husband Store."

Forgive the joke but sometimes VERY high standards could be the possible cause for this. So I would advise you lower your standards a little and settle for what you can have. Identifying the cause of the delay is the first step in solving the problem. Like some of the other posters mentioned, try to identify the cause , be it over-weight, engrossed with career etc, deal with that and then live your life to the fullest. It wouldn't be a bad idea too for you to consider being a single parent if you are late thirties. Just my two pence!
PoliticsRe: How Ken Saro-Wiwa Was Framed by Bishop7(m): 9:31am On Dec 08, 2010
If you guys had your history right, you will recall that Ojukwu had met with Saro Wiwa shortly before the war to persuade him to join forces with the Ibos in their secession bid. Saro Wiwa refused to join pact saying it was the Ibos' war. Ojukwu attributes his defeat to lack of support from his geographical neighbors.

It is not surprising that Ojukwu will even bid to be appointed the Government Witness to the same Saro Wiwa's execution. Poetic justice if you ask me.

However, if the truth has to be told, the activities of Multinationals and Super Nations in the affairs of this country has to be checked.

Lol!
You guys are all funny and have obviously lost faith in the Nigerian Police. From an eclectic point of view, I think our Police Force would still do a good job if they want to. It's totally wrong to generalize using a few ( well, more than a few) bad eggs in the Police Force. World over, there are corrupt officers in every system and Nigeria is no exception. Even if a token is charged, is it not better than loosing the whole lot. We do pay bank charges, insurance premiums and so forth. Let's look on the positive side!
