AMEN!! goingforward: Good Morning Nairalanders,
Listen, Fear bows down to Faith!
2nd Timothy 1 vs 7: For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Never condescend to Fear. The currency that God recognizes is Faith. Fear is of the Devil while Faith is of God. Fear disappears when Faith is present.
Jeremiah 32 vs 27. "Behold, I am the LORD, the God of ALL flesh; is anything too difficult for Me?’’ Absolutely nothing!
Walk in this conviction this week.
May all our Study TRV desires come through this week in Jesus mighty name. It will end in praises and thanksgiving.
Be faith-filled.
Goingforward. |

IOM Lagos asked me to come back after two weeks. • Medical exam passed on 2nd November 2018 • Application Approved 9th November 2018 • My application took 6 weeks and some days. ( I consider myself extremely lucky.

I saw how long the applications took so I decided to apply very early so as to avoid having to defer. Also to have enough time to take a step back and restrategise in case of a denial.
P.S I have not received the introduction letter yet. Please does anyone know how long it takes? Must I receive it before I go and pickup my passport?
I want to say thank you to Frankrobbn1 for his patience and answers to my questions, also Jnyuwa02 ( we never interacted but your contributions helped me a lot). My boss Kylexy1, thank you for your help. I appreciate you. Thank you to every other person that has contributed on this wonderful forum. I have learnt from you all one way or the other.
I pray that the grace of speed that worked for me, will visit all the TRV hopefuls. Keep the faith strong guys. To those yet to submit, put up an airtight application and pray. The God that did it for me will do it for you too. |

Naijaforeigner: You like trouble bro. Your application is ready, just go and collect it and see what is inside yourself. No need asking people to guess wether it was approved or not. Every aplication is unique and different.
Please brace up, go collect it, come back and give us your testimony of approval. @Naijaforeigner.. Your testimony is here!! |

goingforward: @bisimo, At the beginning of your application, you will need to fill out the questionnaire, while you are at it you will indicate that you are applying with a family member. Then it would prompt you a question whether you are applying for visit or Study. Choose study.
As @mcobex already said you will then fill out her own separate form for study for her.. Add your own schl admission letter and other admission information, you can also get creches/daycare online around the neighborhood of your school, write to them and attach their feedback or email trail to show the VO that you have made adequate plans for your 3year old.
Please do not leave your daughter behind. She is very little. ( i have a 5 & 6-year-old) and i applied for study for both of them and visit for my spouse. I cannot even imagine leaving them behind ( most esp my children) because I wanna step out to study.
How would I even concentrate on my studies sef ??
I beg to differ that, visa officers are human beings and know the value of children staying with their parents at a young and tender age. Just my thoughts.
One more thing i did was get a study leave letter from their schl and got the schl to help also emphasize in the letter, that my children are still too young to be separated from their mother. You may also do this.
goingforward. Thanks so much, great mother .. So the application will be submitted at the same time or when mine is out then i can apply for visit visa for her? pls advice. |

mcobex: Since you still have a study visa in Malaysia you can apply there, infact the process should be much more easier for you. Go to cic page and check the processing time for Malaysia applicants. The only time you can't apply from another country is if you are on visiting visa. NB: That doesn't stop you from still using your husband's company papers, but trust me I think you have a better chance applying in Malaysia. Best of luck Thanks for your reply, just checked the processing time and its 6weeks.hope using my husband tie back in Nigeria (properties, company certificate, and his Nigeria statement of account with my own Malaysia student saving statement of account won't affect my application? my own account is not that huge, can i apply together with my 6 year old daughter? she's here with me and she's using my own dependent visa . thanks |
