Punch editorial board is now the opposition

Truly, it has been said and proven that Tinubu's urchinstons, paid agents and BATerians are the most unreasonable and senseless set of homosapiens to have ever emerge on the surface of the earth
NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THEM(EDUCATED OR NOT)!

Na her matter we go chop this week

But it should be looked into how people who screamed change and corruption in 2015 to the high heavens are now explaining and justifying corruption.

One idiot told me money must be made.

Another said I'm just bitter and hateful that I'm not benefitting.

Another said Peter Obi did worse.

God must punish some people o walahi
Honestly, God's wrath must visit them. How they now justify everything is beyond comprehension.
PoliticsRe: Households Under Pressure As New Electricity Tariff Due July 1 by Bismarck10(m): 7:14pm On Jun 19, 2023
Flets:
Before we all get carried away with the media propaganda, here are the summary of Tinubu's government to date:

1. Fuel subsidy is removed and you will buy fuel for 500 to 900naira per liter (depending on the exchange rate). The savings will be looted like that of kerosene and diesel. There will be no commensurate succor/ palliative for your suffering. Instead of going after the subsidy thieves and stopping the smuggling across boarders, they have transferred the responsibility to the helpless Nigerian people.

2. Naira has been devalued (though they call it floating). The FG has handed over the exchange to the market forces where speculators and banks are king. Naira continues to fall in the I/E and parallel market. Anybody who tells you Naira will appreciate is a joker, for a corrupt country like ours, the banks and speculators are the new cabal and will drive the rates how they deem fit. Don’t believe…. Just observe. What most don’t get now is that CBN now has no obligation to provide FX at a particular rate to the market, as such the new FG players can access FX from CBN without noise.

3. FG funding for tertiary education has been removed. Students will pay upwards of 400K tuition fee starting next session. A lot of students will drop out and cannot complete their education anymore. The so-called student loan will be almost impossible for an average student without connection to access. Guess what happens to the savings from this funding…. To be looted by the same people who have impoverished the nation.

4. Electricity tariff have been increased (without increased production) and will take effect from July 1st. This is a death knell to small and medium scale businesses. You are now stuck between the devil (PMS at 550naira per liter) and the blue sea (extra expensive electricity tariff).

5. All the FG has done so far is abandon almost all responsibilities it has over the people through the bills being signed since May 29. All Tinubu has done is to make available funds to be shared by him and his goons at the expense of the people. Not a single bill or action aimed at ameliorating the suffering of the already downcast Nigerian people rather adding to the pain in the guise of elitist policies

6. Guess what…. None of these policies have any impact on the political class and they have not made a single sacrifice. Same old political criminals are back in power, Gbaja, Akume, Asari Dokubo etc and you expect any real change apart from increased suffering?. How do you expect Tinubu to pay back the these same criminals who supported him into power?

Nigerians…. Suffer no dey tire una?
E no dey taya dem o. They're "heritaged" in suffering. They prefer to die as long as their tribal, religious person & the political party they have sympathy for is at helms. They're contented with that "satisfaction".
Averagely & strangely, Nigerians are something else!

Then at pics 2, note how same Media became biased all of a sudden...
I was about replying him when I saw your reply. In this modern age of information democracy, some people would just be spreading falsehoods based on hearsay without proper background check. That you don't like a particular entity doesn't mean you must not be objective. That brings out the educated person in you. Otherwise, you're worse than almajaris!

Somebody somewhere said we hate what we cannot Understand!

Peugeot has been a much hated brand by so many people because the people who understand the Dynamics and Maintenance of this Vehicle are few and far in between!

You would always have problems when you give a generalist a car that needs a specialist.

I've been working on Strictly Peugeot Vehicles 307, 206 and 406 in that order for over a decade now.

I can take these Vehicles apart and put them together without stress and if you're in Port Harcourt and own a Peugeot you might know me.

I want to use this thread to help anyone who has issues with the above named vehicles!

Post your issues, let's post solutions. If these solutions work then in future anyone searching this forum would have solutions to refer to.

Over time too I would post some common issues and solutions I've encountered.
I would like to buy Peugeot 307(wagon) for regular long haul journeys(not commercial). Please, I need your advice on its ruggedity (the road is not all that good), maintainance, parts availability, durability and of course, fuel economy.
Thank you.

I humbly need a sincere advice.

DRISKLEF:
PDP should rather be ashamed of themselves. I'm not a fanatic of any of the parties neither am i in support of the mis-rule by this present administration but i think what we need from the PDP right now is criticisms that are 'pretty much', very constructive.

PDP doesn't have any moral jurisdiction or whatsoever to start calling or pointing fingers when they've been the ones in power for about 16years now and nothing to show for it. I think these guys are all thesame and if at-all they really want to make-up for their mistakes - they should start taking steps that'll convince the populace by first; being a credible opposition and by suggesting lasting solutions to the problems we're presently in.

One.
I have said it long time ago that ANYBODY with PDP has lost touch with reality. I detest that party...an assemblage of wicked, shameless and disgusting individuals. To cap it all, just listen when a PDP youth supporter (who would have served as an instrument of hope) talks. You would cry if some were to be your siblings.

KOGI SCREENING:113 BANK ACCOUNTS BELONGING TO 3 CIVIL SERVANTS DISCOVERED BY THE COMMITTEE.
By the time you must have finished reading this story and reflect on my earlier post, you will discovered that I meant what I wrote earlier today.
Kogi uncovers over 3000 bank accounts of ghost workers
The Staff Screening and Verification Committee set up by the Kogi State Government said it had uncovered over 3, 000 bank accounts of ghost workers.
Chairman of the committee, retired Brig.-Gen Paul Okuntimo, disclosed this to newsmen in Lokoja on Wednesday.
He said 113 bank accounts belonging to three civil servants were also uncovered.
He said that the committee identified a number of retirees who had been collecting pensions and at the same time drawing monthly salaries from the state government.
He added that many names of under aged persons were discovered on the payrolls.
He said the figures will definitely rise as the committee was just midway into the assignment.
Okuntimo said the committee frustrated attempt by a cartel in government agencies to use a member of the committee to perfect N20 million per month the cartel had been siphoning from government coffers.
According to the Chairman, the BVN has proved to be one of the major instruments the committee rely on in realising its terms of reference.
He said the committee had categorized all the workers screened so far into three groups of successful, controversial and failed.
He pointed out that the committee will be releasing the names of cleared workers in batches.
He listed Ankpa, Dekina, Okene, Idah, Adavi, Ajaokuta, Ibaji, Bassa as some of the local governments where the names of cleared staff will be released by May 26.
Okuntimo said the committee had no mandate to sack any worker, adding that it will at the end of the exercise forward its report to the state governor who has the final say on the recommendations.
He, however, stated that workers with forged certificates, fake letters of appointment and `ghost workers’ who had been collecting salaries from federal and the state governments will have to go.
“There are some workers that are genuinely employed but they don’t go to office to work at all and they have been collecting salaries for years. They are mostly in diaspora. We tracked them through their ATM withdrawals”, he explained.
Okuntimo said that attempt to rubbish the work of the committee was being masterminded by external forces but said that he would not give in to blackmail and intimidation.
He also said that he had no problem with the leadership of the labour unions over the exercise, saying that he was not in any way disturbed by some negative comments coming from the labour circle.
“Government and labour’s stand cannot be the same.
While the labour is defending the sectional interest of workers, government is more concerned with general wellbeing of the people and the future of the state’’, he said.
