The Labour Party candidate for Enugu East Senatorial district, Oyibo Chukwu has been killed.

Oyibo, a lawyer was said to have been attacked while returning from a campaign trip in the Agbani area.

He was said to have been burnt inside his vehicle, and three persons were suspected to be with him in the vehicle but it was not yet known how many of the occupants were killed

Information about the attack is still very sketchy but a top member of the party has confirmed it but said he should not be quoted until the family speaks.

It was also learned that the APC governorship candidate in the state, Uche Nnaji was also attacked at the spot where the Labour candidate was killed.

You know too well that if the court lacks jurisdiction the court will rule to that effect right?. Now we have two major issues you're been sentimental about here...

1. The CBN act as amended clearly states that you can deposit your old notes at any time. Not within 20 days or 20 years.

2. The court hasn't given a judgement but rather a ruling that the status quo be maintained so all parties that want to join can present their arguments.

There's a reason the construction says only all orders of the Supreme court must be obeyed by all authorities and it never gave the President such powers. At least the foolish HellRufai did the best thing by approaching the court.

Try that nonsense Buhari did in America and see if you won't be served notice of impeachment already by now.

This is one of the most absurd things I have heard this week. How could the PSC appoint someone who has been ranting all over the place, someone who is clearly partisan and has shown clear disdain and hate against one of the leading candidates for the upcoming elections?
How could the PSC appoint such person to monitor the conduct of security officials during the elections? This is someone who has made it clear that she is supporting Atiku.

Indeed, it's obvious that the cabal will stop at nothing to sabotage Tinubu, but he will surely come out victorious

You're either a charge and bail lawyer or a quack. If indeed you're a lawyer as you claimed, you ought to know that the court would eventually decide if it does or doesn't have jurisdiction. But for now the ruling simply says let status quo remain. CVG

It is stupid to claim to know all when you know absolutely nothing. The lawyers need to argue their cases and the court will decide. Democracy works based on separation of powers!

P.S. I am a lawyer too and I handle election petition.

What is right is to first obey the order of the court. I have never heard that El Rufai refused a Supreme court judgment. Stop spreading lies abeg. The constitution is very clear enough...all orders of the Supreme court must be obeyed by all authorities.

The fact that they have allowed Buhari have his way in 7 1/2 years all in the name of party nonsense doesn't mean they also cannot exercise their rights. Even AG hasn't said anything but you who knows nothing about the law are here ranting. This is why knowledge is power!

You probably forgotten that we are operating a constitutional democracy. The Supreme court rulings must be obeyed even by the President. The same stupid Emefiele ran to Supreme court to secure an order against his arrest. He might be truly financing terrorism as alleged with his behaviors lately.
