Politics / Re: Insecurity: Buhari’s Understanding Of Hard Work By Oke Umurhohwo by BitcoinsMonitor(f): 9:58am On Feb 10, 2020
Truth is Buhari can't do much in terms of security, security is a collective effort and the willingness of people from different backgrounds and religion to come together to live in peace.

I was at the cafe recently then overheard two igbo guys discussing, one of the guys said "I swear na Yoruba be our problem for this country, na them help Buhari to dey rule us, if to sey I get bomb I go eliminate them"...I was just dumfounded after hearing this.

How can a divided nation live in peace?

Only if the church wakes up to her purpose rather than compete on who has the biggest auditorium or the highest number of private jets.

If it were to be constructed by one of those "Big" church headed by that man that curses left, right and centre they would probably be collecting toll fees from cars going that route.

Politics / Re: Amaechi On Okada Ban In Lagos: Sanwo-olu Acted Based On Public Interest by BitcoinsMonitor(f): 9:20am On Feb 04, 2020
Lagosian will live with it...I see no reason people keep making noise about this ban, Okada is not the only means of transportation in Nigeria...after all there is legedis Benz that doesn't require queuing at the filing station.

Nobody will die if Okada cease to exist...Public Safety is much more important.

Religion / Re: CAN Prayer Walk: Pastor Adeboye Leads Protest Against Insecurity (Photos) by BitcoinsMonitor(f): 3:30pm On Feb 02, 2020
bukatyne:

It is not a protest, it was a prayer walk instructed by CAN.

Prayer walk for what exactly? Is it in support of insecurity or against insecurity? If it is against insecurity then what exactly is the meaning of the word protest cuz it appears you have a specific meaning for the word 'protest'.
Religion / Re: CAN Prayer Walk: Pastor Adeboye Leads Protest Against Insecurity (Photos) by BitcoinsMonitor(f): 1:15pm On Feb 02, 2020
This protest doesn't reflect the popularity and population of the RCCG network, the best time to protest is when they are having their holy ghost Congress, let people match from the redeemed camp straight to Lagos and see if it will not get the attention of the global community as the mother of all protests.

Nigeria will be great again in our lifetime.

A good and better Nigeria is all we want.

A good and more better Nigeria is what we shall get BGG.

God bless Nigeria.

Details,
General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Enoch Adeboye, on Sunday, led members of his church in a prayer walk against insecurity in Nigeria.

Pastor Adeboye had directed the congregation to participate in the prayer walk declared by the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) to address the spate of killings across the country.

According to an Assistant General Overseer of the church, Funso Odesola, about 25,000 Parishes of the church are expected to carry out the same exercise nationwide.

CAN President, Samson Ayokunle, earlier announced series of activities aimed at asking for divine intervention in stopping the killing of innocent Nigerians and giving the government the capacity to overcome terror in the country.

Long overdue...trust me, God will not come down to help us secure our land, he has blessed us with the resources needed to keep us safe.

Nigerian Christians should start thinking outside the box.

While some people are against the Lagos State Government decision on this ban I think the state government averted a major security threat with the Chadians, Nigerien and Sudanese trooping the country in numbers and pretending to be "Okada riders", someone would have just woke up one morning and discover Lagos State have been captured by Boko Haram.

Go around Lagos at night between 11pm to 1am and see how this guys stuff up in a tight corner littered with Okada, some even sleep on the Okada.

They speak hausa during the day but at night speak a foreign language...I caught one recording a voice note on a WhatsApp group the other day (Yes a WhatsApp group) Trust me this guys got a mission and I hope Lagos State Government make the Lagos State Neighborhood Watch more effective (I don't even know what Neighborhood Watch does apart from riding biscycle and sitting at bus stops all day)

When I say Okada I don't mean the glorified okada such as Gokada, Oride or Maxride ooo, before somebody comes for my head.

**Sade Adu,Sikiru Adepoju,Olalekan Babalola,Hakeem Seriki,Kevin Olusola & Cynthia Erivo too has won grammy award

How is so difficult for you to understand when I say "Nigerian" I mean a Nigerian based in Nigeria and not a Nigerian who is based abroad and have spent all their lives there...Seal is based abroad and make his music there, Burna boy lives in Nigeria and makes his music here.

I repeat no Nigerian based in Nigeria that makes their music here has ever won the Grammy awards.

2Face, Dbanj, Wizkid, Davido and other Nigerian artists will be very happy he isn't the first Nigerian to win it...don't look at me like that, it's just the truth...forget that they will go public to be sympathetic (na lie e no reach their Belle)

Hypocrisy is part of our DNA... Aren't we Nigerians just mysterious?
