They can not tap their resources because of conflict and disagreement. Yet their people remain in poverty.

It is better to import crude oil than importing refined products. Nigeria will save more money on this approach.

The problem of Nigeria is UNION.

There is no way state govt. will single out local govt workers for no reason and pay other workers in the state. I did my IT/SIWES in local govt council some years ago. This kind of news is normal within LGA.
These people now spend millions to contest for NULGE positions. I repeat, the problem is as a result of disagreement between NULGE, state or local govt. It is not because no money to pay salary.

This has to do with disagreement between state and nulge and local government failure.

Go and read social studies to know how govt is run.
1. Local government workers don't do anything. No job to do apart from gossip.

2. Chairman and his godfather is sitting on their salaries.

3. Local govt is in charge of collecting revenue in the markets, issuing certificates, okada, local transporters plus monthly allocation.
Where are they putting the money? because we don't see local government projects.

4. Local government chairmen and their excos receive their salaries and allowance regularly.
