I judiciously went through this thread and noted all the free resources that previous test takers used. I reviewed them, selected a few and ran with those (including IELTS E2 or Jay on YouTube) albeit only for about two weeks over a 1 month period.

Prospective test takers, be encouraged! You can do even better

I converted my i140 to premium process, and it was approved in about 7days.

How long does perm certification take?

I think individual cases are different tho....I know someone who signed up with them after passing NCLEX this year and the person is now waiting for interview date at the embassy
What may be causing their delays please

They pay well when you eventually get to the uSA. But in recent times they have been VERY SLOW with applicants and lots of people I know are stuck and one stage or the other. I am signed to them and have been on i140 since 2019.

I'd take avant or o Grady if you want a faster green card.

Try Adevia Health anyways if you don't have funds for DIY NCLEX-RN

I wrote NCLEX on my own. You can interview with the hospital to see how it is and have some experience. That is if they don't ask for your NCLEX pass report before the interview.

I got a direct hospital interview in 2 days and one of the requirements is that I have Nclex. Do I turn it down or what please? Thank you

From my personal experience- Westway, O'Grady, avant are not taking nigerian nurses without Nclex
Shearwaters do not take nurses without BNSC. I suggest applying to those agencies tho and get their response because they treat individual case differently

Yes, it is possible. CGFNS exam and IELTS will be used to issue visascreen certificate which is needed for the immigration purpose, then on getting to the USA, you can sit for your NCLEX, pass and become USRN . That is what most agency are doing now for Nigerian nurses that already signed their contract because its difficult for them to secure visa to travel to write the NCLEX. Because of this difficulty in securing visa, some of them are not even taking nigerian nurses without NCLEX.

Connectics interview is asking questions to know more about you, your clinical experience, no of beds in your hospital, nurse patient ratio etc. You don't need any special preparation for this
I got to interview with an hospital a month after connectics interview. I got an employment offer from the hospital and I am told the immigration process takes 7-9months

Majorly your passport datapage, birth certificate, police clearance, marriage certificate (where applicable). All these documents are applicable to your dependents as well. Though NVC will advise the document to submit.

One can't really judge these US nursing agencies now because of 1) the banned Nigeria had and 2) Covid 19. Everyone"s case and experience is different. Those awaiting embassy interview can join my thread and comment.
