Hello everyone. I created an account just to share our own experience. My wife is a nurse but I’m the one handling most of the processes.

PD November 2021, DQ February 2022.
After waiting for an appointment for six months, we made an expedited request in August 2022 and got approval notice a week later. Our case file arrived the US consulate in Lagos at the end of August. We contacted the consulate via email (lagosiv@state.gov) and they asked us to create an account, register a profile and schedule our appointment on http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ng.

We have been trying to schedule an appointment since then but there are no appointments available. In fact I have been checking the website every six hours as advised but nothing yet. We even asked for help from agents but none has been able to help. I understand the U.S. consulate is short staffed and there’s a lot of backlog. So it’s still a waiting game for us. That’s our experience so far, hopefully we’ll get an appointment soon.

I got DQ on September 11, 2022. Interview Letter on September 28, 2022. My interview date is November 28th, 2022. So, exactly 2 weeks from DQ to IL and exactly 2 months from IL to Interview date.
I'm curious to hear how other people's have gone. If you've recently got IL and ID, please share your dates too to help others gauge how long they'll have to wait for.

I think they only do it at the HQ in Lagos but follow the new online process below and then go ask at your State Command on how to send prints to Lagos OR search NL for nofficers (Inspector Rose/Moshood) who may be able to advise onhow to send your fingerprints

The police clearance report has increased to 30k starting July 22nd and you will apply online and after payment has being made you go with your receipt to Alagbon for them to take your fingerprints.

Yes it is possible as long as you have a concrete reason for expediting your case it would be reviewed and once approved it would skip the nvc stage and be forwarded directly to the embassy but note you should have filled out your DS-260 form, paid all fees and submitted all necessary documents.

Not yet. I had to send back my order to pay for NVC back to them because it had just my name and I wanted to include my family in my application. I haven’t heard back from them and don’t know how long it will take.

I have wrong employment start date filled during my I140 petition, can I fill in the correct date while filling in the information on DS260? Won't the information be conflicting, can't it cause any significant problem during interview? Or should I just stick with the employment start date on my I140?
I am particularly concerned because I may be asked to present my current employment letter on the interview day

How did you get to know about your agency.
9) why did I sponsor myself for NCLEX instead of looking for an agency that will sponsor you..
10) etc etc
All these took less than 10 minutes, my answers were specific, didn't beat round the bush.
