Am sure u may remember I have been using a 2007 Toyota camry since 2012. It still runs beautifully without any issues, just the occasional change of brake pads and engine oil. And I occasional need to top up the engine oil cos it burns,though not so much.
(I was told it's normal for the 07 model).

I opened a business in a nearby town from asaba, a place called Issele uku about 25min drive everyday to and fro. Now i have to top the engine oil with like a litre every 3days..... that's really unusual. The oil consumption just got worse.

The car isn't smoking and , it drives smoothly.....but how can I live with toping a litre @1400 every 3days.

Cos am sure it's not abt piston and rings....cos this oil SHORTAGE has been there since 2012 and no smoking.

My friend despite all warning went ahead to buy one from a guy who used his for only 8 months. He's been with the car for about 8 months now too and what he's spent on that car till date can comfortably buy him a neatly used Nigerian corolla. Hope you get my drift? I still got plenty stories to talk but if I start to talk, hehehe u go even pity me send me money

i buy my cars directly from america and another thing is maintaining the car, i use mobil 1 5w 30, my sensors and thermostat are intact

False. Avalon uses the same drivetrain and powertrain (Engine and trans) as sienna and camry-MZ series. 2. 5L to 3.3l engine
Corolla has 1.4 to 1.8L
Avalon has better torque and more efficient in pulling out of bottomless potholes and muddy areas..LESS wear and tear on the engine, but takes more FUEL to do the work.
Corolla has less torque and less efficient in navigating “beautifully tarred/paved” Naija roads..but it puts a lot of wear and tear on engine and trans. You save more in fuel cost, but give up on longevity, wear and tear.
About fuel, the MPG difference is only 6miles/10km

My brother if you like yourself, don't ever I mean ever consider buying an Avalon. That's one of the quickest routes to the village. That motor go put you for street ooo even yahoo boys sef dey see the car dey run now Lol

Go for the corolla and save yourself the pains hassles and problems! Avalon na very problematic car and I am speaking from experience... Matter of fact, many experiences! Forget as e long like ojile bread ooo forget that sleek shape... It's a very unreliable and useless car! Enough said

THEY ARE IMCOMPARABLE, AVAALON IS MORE LUXURIOUS AND COMFORTABLE WITH V6 ENGINE, IF U DRIVE ONE TO A LONG JOURNEY YOU WILL NEVER THINK OF BUYING A CORROLLA.

In addition to jceesquare's suggestion, unBalanced wheels can also exhibit itself dt way. To rule this out. Swap ur rear tyres to d front and front to back. If vibration goes away den u know ur wheels r d problem. If it persists then U av a suspension problem.
