Now, how does Igbo Republic take POLITICAL AUTHORITY over these towns? These can only be done in two ways;

1) Military invasion of the Ijaw Republic and annexation of their lands.

This option is no longer acceptable.

2) Non-violent/political process- this will require Opobo and Bonny to secceed from Ijaw Republic and merge with Igbo Republic.


Alaska, in a referendum joined the USA in 1959. Before then ,it was a political possession of the USA, which bought the territory from the former colonial Masters, Russia at a cost of $20 Million.

The case is totally different from the issues of Opobo/Bonny.
