damosky12:Envying what exactly? The lie? |
SlyDev:I don't argue nonsense. Everybody wished they had contact with Ndigbo. I am surprised you didn't ask the primitive Yoruba people at that time as part of the people that raided Igboland. That aside, Pictures speak louder than words. Between your Alaafin (1st pic) and one man walking on his own in Ogwashi-Ukwu (2nd pic) who looks more dignified or rich? From the first picture, you don't need me to clarify to you how the original Oyo Palace looked like before the white men built what the OP posted.
|
SlyDev:The Alaafin according to the picture started his tenure at 1914 but you said it was late 19th? So he time travelled? As for the naked aspect. You and I know that one anklet on an Igbo woman before the white men came can buy the entire Oyo and Ife. Fact |
LamidiCownu:Google is your friend. We were never mates. NDIGBO didn't start getting rich after Nigeria but were created with it. |
Ikwereanlion:No allow them to finish celebrating what the white men built as theirs before I give them receipts of the original Alaafin of Oyo's Palace |
seunmsg:You mean the Igbo women in your picture that are wearing rare copper spirals worth atleast 12 million Naira in todays amount on their legs are naked? If you want to talk about people being naked, talk about the Yoruba women in the picture below that the few things they are wearing are worth absolutely nothing You can't compare yourselves with Ndigbo. There has never been a time we were mates
|
SlyDev:The picture is from early 20th century (after Amalgamation). By then, Igbo businessmen have started developing estates in Lagos. By the way, I never knew we would get to a level when Yorubas will start celebrating what the white men built as theirs. Lol. These people are more Shameless than I thought.
|
waldigit:Which century is this journal talking about? 18th or 19th? |
Horllamideh:And of all the humongous twenty countries in one SW, it is only tiny Lagos that can talk when SE is talking |
SlyDev:The worst village in my state (Anambra) will be considered as the most developed city in your entire region except some parts of Lagos. |
SlyDev:Ask the ministry to remove locality in the federal University in your state and you will understand the difference between us and you people in the next admission |
If you believe SE is educationally handicapped then campaign for it to be added into "Educational less privileged state" in Nigeria let's see if any of you will get Admission into the Universities in your SW. Or better still campaign for locality to be removed in giving admissions let's see if all tertiary students in Federal universities won't have Igbo names. One thing about Yorubas that I have noticed is that you people are good in deceiving yourselves. An average Igbo man is naturally more intelligent than others in Nigeria. This is fact. This is why Nigeria introduced locality and all those quota systems for others to be represented |
And the Airport was completed without FG cursed help so what are you people saying? Are you saying that the Airport everybody saw Yesterday was an Illusion? Or what? I think you people are about to run mad for no reason |
Simdyofficial:Well it is obvious you neither know Onitsha nor Nnewi. There is no where in SW (absolutely no place) apart from some parts of Lagos that can boldly think of measuring shoulders with either of the two places you mentioned. BTW, look up here you'll see ANSMEDIA updating you people with recent pictures. Anambra as a whole is currently NOBODY'S MATE in Nigeria. I said Nobody. So no preferences |
Broveens42:Exactly. The only difference is that we call ours "Village" while they call theirs that is not up to our standard "cities" Take for Example Obi Cubana's hometown Oba. Obi Cubana going back there for the funeral was termed "Obi Cubana going to his VILLAGE to bury his mother" but mind youx that Oba has: 1.) One private University 2.) 6 Private hospitals with one Teaching Hospital 3.) 6 Estates and more under construction 4.) One tourist village (Rojenny) and Stadium 5.) Many production Companies (she even hosted the first Indigenous tooth pick manufacturing plant years ago) 6.) 3 Night Clubs and two currently under construction 7.) A shopping Mall (Nigerian standard) 8.) More than 10 hotels with a Four star Nellys Hotel and another under construction 9.) Their own Market and two (under construction, though used at the same time) business districts and One international Market "Alaba International Market Oba" With all these, the people especially those from there and around still call Oba "a Village" Its an Igbo thing but I pray one day we change that mentality. Tell me, from what I listed, how many of the so called Cities in SW can boast of it but some of us still call Oba "a village" cc Abagworo and Amotolongbo This is about Oba. I haven't talked about Obosi, Ogidi, Nkpor etc that many still don't give their rightful respect |
Abagworo:I don't think so. SW might have more slums than SE not cities. What you call Villages in SE is what they call Cities in SW except that the Villages in SE has more modern Houses than the cities in SW. I am talking from what I saw with my two eyes not media propaganda. As for the mythical creation. Which city did the Europeans create in Igboland? Apart from the role they played in Enugu as a regional Capital where else? Is it Onitsha, Nnewi, Nkpor, Obosi, Awka etc that we are still watching as they are transforming into modern cities? Or are we in Anambra for example "Europeans?" |
Broveens42:Oguta looks like all those suburbs of East African capitals |
Broveens42:Or this from Anambra
|
Amotolongbo:LOL. It is either you like deceiving yourself or you are talking out of ignorance. Anybody that have travelled round Nigeria must have noticed that when it comes to number of cities (Nigerian Standards) SE edges other regions out. Coming to livable cities, SE still edges others out followed by SS then North before SW. I am not talking for arguments and if you read everything I type here you won't see any reason to reply or challenge it. Let me explain the difference for you. What you call cities by Nigerian standards is what an average Igbo town has (working market, health care, basic amenities like schools etc) Moving from the south to the North one notices something like moving from walled houses to those without walls. SE and most parts of SS don't construct buildings without demarcating with walls and gates. This is not something you can see easily in SW or North (though unrelated in development but shows differences in living conditions and quality placed in where one lives) Now let's go to sanitation and hygiene. I don't mean to insult some people but anyone that have visited or lived in different parts of Nigeria will know that SW in general place little or no importance on Personal hygiene. Hygiene like building toilets and maintaining houses is something alien to SW and North. In SW it is very difficult to see shops selling tissues especially in Ibadan because the people don't use it Anybody that have lived in Ibadan will attest to the fact that is is very difficult to see houses with toilet. Though the North also fall for the same thing but in SE it is considered as a taboo. Other Nigerians visiting SE always say the people place too much importance on where they defecate. If we are to be honest with ourselves and talk from what we say ourselves not media propaganda, SW and the North are no where near SE. And also SW is no where near North in livable cities as well if we want to be honest with ourselves |
I thought this place has been demolished. Anyways, to think that the people will still vote PDP in 2023 baffles me. Attacking the Governor is a waste of time. If anybody wants a change he should attack the citizens of Abia because they are the real problem. Abia Citizens are the problem not the Governor. The Governor is a representative of what they are on the inside. Didn't he campaign about something on an arranged platform on this same road last few months while flooded? The platform was erected because he didn't see any place to stand and the indigenes/citizens stood in the mud cheering him. Shameless bunch of Shameless People. Ndi Abia make una respect una selves or fear God |
Like play, like play we don get Airport oh. Thanks to APGA. There is nothing like leaving a legacy behind. Something people will point at in the coming decade/decades or even centuries and say "see this, we got it from this party/person or Governor" Whether people like it or not, APGA has left a mark that will stay for a long time unlike the greatest scammer of Igboland called PDP. PDP is the worst enemy of Ndigbo. Do you know that there is nothing you can point at in SE and say that we got it from PDP after their almost 20 years of ruling Nigeria and driving Ndigbo inside one chance bus of scam. Nothing. Absolutely Nothing. God Bless Alaigbo. Even after leaving Nigeria, this Airport will still be important to Ndigbo. So God bless APGA. And God punish PDP |
Ofodirinwa:All part of the script. I confirmed my suspicion when they were shooting naked in Orlu last few months. They think Ndigbo behave like the way Nollywood portrays them |
udele1:Show me the tribal mark on El Rufai, Buhari and the Sultan. Oga your colleagues have been caught. They say everyday is for the Fulani terrorists but one day is for the Igbo landlord |
EmmyCC:Because the pictures are all Fulani. It is trending on all social media |
SirBlack999:Thanks bro |
globemoney01:And I should applaud him like you amnesic patients do when they drop repetitions as updates? One thing you don't understand is that not everybody has amnesia like you. He repeated and I caught him. This should sound as a lesson/warning to all of you repeating pictures as update in this thread in particular. All of you. Nobody specific. Now that I am here. If you repeat shit I will call you out immediately No time to waste. PROUDIGBO leave the dude and other repetitionists to me (I don land for this thread be say I don land and real Igbo people here are going to be liberated from their illusions). Let me see one politicians chior master that will stall us with one uncompleted building or abandoned project here as update |
FutureIsFemale:If you want to become a lesbian say so and stop disguising. Personally, I don't even see any thing wrong with it as far as you don't rape another woman or practice it in public. Just lock yourselves up in one room and do your lesbianism in peace. Na my body? As for the news, I don't pity the lady. Yes you heard right "I don't have an ounce of pity for her" My reason is simple. Who in his or her right mind dates a Nigerian Uncivilised Police? Who? Except someone that want to use them to intimidate their brothers, friends and neighbours. So "ain't gat" no pity for the Wicked girl |
gidgiddy:No my brother, Nnewi's own is a warrant chief. That thing written in their Wikipedia page is mere cover up. Orizu was a warrant chief. As for the one of Onitsha, that will be story for another day. If you know any indigene ask him what happened before the last coronation. Unlike Onitsha, Nnewi have no single relationship with Bini |
propynich123: propynich123:You said this twice so I hope all is well with you as well. |
ANSMEDIA:OK, so the main purpose of creating and modifying the title is to get to a scenario like this. Interesting. We learn everyday |
