Quick one please, who has ever successfully paid for a flight via StudentUniverse? Or is there any other cheap app/website that can be used?

The name is STUDENT UNIVERSE.
You can find it on Apple store and Play Store.

Education / Re: 10 Reasons Why Federal Universities Are No Match To Covenant University (PROOFS) by blacbard(m): 7:48am On Feb 23, 2017
Your facts are true but your assertions are false
1. Google scholar is just one of the online repositories. No one worth is salt will base his all encompassing ranking on that. Anyone (any fool) can put stuff up on google scholar. Journal publications are the real ish
2. A huge chunk of your faculties are from these public universities.
3. You spoke of Alumni and said after Wole Soyinka, there isn't any other popular alumni from these public schools i.e UI and OAU, that is very laughable, before you make such statement you need to back it up. The guy who runs jobberman is from CU right? Or the guy who runs Kangpe ?. Nigeria's tech space is dominated by guys from these public schools. Your school is advertising so they will put up even names that dont count. (I haven't heard of most of the guys you mentioned as your esteemed alumni) that part was poor from you, do better.
4. Spirituality ? They force you all to worship in church, have you been to OAU or UI in thr evenings to see fellowship services?
5. Environment: you obviously have better and well equipped classes than the other 2 universities
6. One thing you didn't mention is overall experience. CU cant match any of those two in that
7. Quality of graduates : to confirm this, we will need to look at other areas apart from the presidential exam you mentioned to judge and make a far reaching decision.

Like i said you put out facts, but like Trump you tried to use weak statistics and some lies to buffer your predetermined assertions.

You can't sell a product more than it is actually worth, some of his will see through it

Culture / Re: Slaves from The Bight of Benin Vs The Bight of Biafra- Numbers & Cultural Legacy by blacbard(m): 10:46pm On Jan 24, 2017
Interesting post so far
I think if we look beyond the supremacy battle undertones i am sensing we can agree to some "facts"
Yoruba's have managed to retain their culture more because
1. They arrived much later
2. The slavers were more permissive in the carribeeans and South America than in the British colonies of North America
3. Some other reasons that may have to do affixation for the culture.

The surge in Yoruba slaves if you check coincides with the period of internecine wars in the Yoruba country. And also thr Dahomey conquests of previous Yoruba outposts and cities. Most slaves came from war conquests.

We won't be able to have exact figures of the number of slaves exported from the modern day Nigeria region.

History is never reviewed in isolation, you must consider all other eventd that had direct and indirect effect on the matter you are treating.
Questions like when did the boom in agriculture happen in the new world that led to increased demand for slaves?, where did these slaves come from ?

In which way is religion helping Nigeria and it's economy, even the people that brought religion to the country had abounded it and embrace science and technology which makes their youths readily employed as soon as they are out from schools

how many youths have your religion given jobs or rather they are exploiting them for their imaginary miracles

it's only those who are benefiting from exploitation of the youths through religion will take your stand

You are widely off the mark sir, you say religion should be abolished, yet i showed u a very religious country makimg strides.
Read between the lines sir

Health / WELLVIS : 5 Health Tips On Coping With The Harmattan by blacbard(m): 1:35am On Jan 02, 2017
And here we go again, dried lips, dried nostrils, easily whitened skins (those okada men are a sight to behold). Its also a bit of paradox, the nights turns everyone to snuggle bunnies but the days are so hot your laundried clothes dry before indomie is done. Its normal to see a lot of red eyes like person wey smoke igbo, people sneezing wnd coughing like choking cars.
Well, here are 5 tips to dey kanpe in this period.

1. Take lots of water:
Because of the dryness experienced and the hotness of the day, the body looses a lot of water. Taking a lot of water keeps your throat and mouth moistened, and helps to prevent cold or flu episodes. Try at least 4 pure water satchets a day

2. Step up your nutrition:
some people will canvass nutritional supplements like Vitamin C tablets et al, but i always say no need to go that far. There is an Hausa man with fruits in almost every corner, help the farming economy, invest in fruits consumption and your body will reap in MMM folds.

3. Stay warm:
Wear protective clothing during the day and at night. Asthmatics or those with chronic respiratory conditions should pay special attention to their health and take all possible and practicable measures to reduce exposure to the dusty atmosphere and they should carry their inhalers with them at all times. Sicklers should be vigilant and keep warm as much as possible to prevent crisis.

4. Keep over the counter anti-allergy drugs handy. There are a lot of them out there that can help stop that runny nose, sore throat and catarrh in its track. Drugs like Loratidine, Cetirizine & Levocetirizine will help and they wont make you drowsy. We cant afford that abi?

5. Step up your hygiene.
Someone once said soap, water amd common sense are . You can also go around with a sanitizer. Sneeze into your arms (not hands).
By ensuring these, you provide help and get help (another MMM joke) by preventing the spread of viruses and other infectious agents to and from people.

Staying healthy is much cheaper than curing ill health like the price of "pure water" compared to "bottled water"
