As a born again Christian who is meant to speak the truth at all times, i think this amoketun issue is being hypocritically blown out of proportion to expand hatred for other tribes especially the Fulanis. Why must we Christians be the brain behind the vast support for Amotekun when the Nigerian constitution is clear about the roles of the armed forces and police in the security of the country? Why must we form an ethnic militia to target fellow Nigerians when the constitution guarantees freedom of movement and doing business nationwide as long as we are Nigerians? What we fail to realize is that the south east cheering on Amotekun sees its as a synonym for their biafra agitations and they will rather support anything that will disband the relative peace and unity of Nigeria. The IPOB sympathizers will be the one to cry wolf when Amotekun starts targeting their tribesmen who commits various crimes in the south west. MURIC recently condemned the killing of a CAN pastor and sympathized with we Christians, how many Christians will condemn the killing of an imam or Muslims? Instead we rejoice when tragedy strikes them forgetting we are all humans before religion. Instead of emulating our Muslim brothers who have remained silent on this issue of Amotekun, we Christians are disturbing the cyberspace with hypocritical comments. Amotekun will never see the light of the day as long as we remain one Nigeria. It's a bad policy and a tribalistic security outfit aimed at persecuting other Nigerians. On behalf of we Christians, i condemn Amotekun. Let's learn to live in peace and harmony

Politics / Amotekun, Miyetti Allah And That Channels Tv Outing by blackfase(m): 10:58am On Jan 23, 2020
There are things I read or hear that leave me wondering whether to pause and die laughing or die crying. Monday’s Channels TV interview where a Miyetti Allah spokesperson tried to cause a wedge between Ndigbo and the Yoruba is one of such things.

That a man who, in the 21st century 2020, still goes about trekking with cows all over the bushes in the country, reportedly butchers innocent men, women and children in their sleep just so these cows can graze on the ancestral land of the deceased, a man whose part of the country has the highest number of out-of-school children (12 million), worst poverty rate, highest maternal mortality rate, highest illiteracy rate and the presence of two terrorist groups — Boko Haram and the killer herdsmen — once adjudged the deadliest and fourth deadliest terror group respectively by the Global Terror Index; plus a gang of rampaging bandits which has taken over most part of his own part of the country, and comes on TV to admit responsibility for the killings will come on national TV to use the term “primitive” on a people who had seen civilisation long before his own progenitors should get every reasonable person drunk with laughter. Mirthless laughter, I mean.

Let us even look at the politics of the Arewa. What is there to emulate in using gory displays of violence and mindless festival of blood to acquire and wield political power?

And to prove that the tired, worn-out, out of use analogue divide and rule tactic is the only thing they are good at, he tries to divide Southern consensus in support of Amotekun by reminding Ndigbo that during the last general election, they were stopped from voting their conscience in parts of Lagos by the Yoruba. He would have been right except he was wrong. The Yoruba never stopped Ndigbo from voting in any part of Lagos. It was the thugs of some prominent political actors who stopped Ndigbo from voting in some parts of Lagos. An individual’s action CANNOT be blamed on the Yoruba. So, the Miyetti Allah man should look for another card to play. This one has failed.

Again, he reminds Ndigbo that a certain Yoruba Oba threatened to drown them in the lagoon. True, he was right. The Oba made the threat which of course, wasn’t carried out. Now, let us assume that threat was made against Ndigbo by an assistant to an assistant to an Emir, would it have ended up an empty threat? Your guess is as good as mine.

We know the people who have value for human lives and we know those who are indifferent to the sanctity of human lives. We know the people who started spilling blood for as far back as 1945 when Nigeria hadn’t even gained her independence and has continued up to this moment.

Now, let us even come down to the main topic; Amotekun.

Below are some questions that not only require but demand answers:
Why is the Arewa North jittery that a section of the country has decided to set up an unarmed intelligence gathering regional security outfit? Why is the government using Miyetti Allah as a front to oppose Amotekun? Is this a confirmation that this group whose members are responsible for the death of thousands of innocent Nigerians is the militia wing of the Buhari regime? Why does Channel TV keep inviting Miyetti Allah — a Fulani group — to come and discuss Amotekun, a Yoruba regional security initiative?

I do not have answer to any of the above questions but I do know one thing for a fact; as long as the Muhammadu Buhari regime continues to look away from a known terrorist group that butchers innocent Nigerians just so their cows can feed, as long as it is okay to have armed Civilian JTF and Hisbah police in the North, as long as the Nigerian security agencies currently controlled by a section of the country continue to do little while rampaging herdsmen kill, maim and rape innocent Nigerians and take over their land for their cows, there will continue to be Amotekun , not only in the West but in the rest of the entire non-Caliphate part of the country.

A government that refuses to protect her citizens from a well-known terror group with an ethno-religious agenda has no right to stop them from protecting themselves.

Those who think Amotekun is about the Yoruba need to think again. It is about all of us. It is about our inalienable right to live as free humans without being butchered in our sleep and our land taken over by terrorists operating with government sponsored impunity.

GlobalWay:
On whatsapp, on Facebook, Copy and share the truth below if you've not.

*A MUST-Read For ALL Yorubas*
Real Yorubas don't flinch, snitch or asslick those killing our People. In fact, we effortlessly faced their massive intruding army at the Oshogbo War in 1840 and mercilessly slaughtered them enmasse like chickens. Despite them having the seeming advantage of gallant horses, they met their waterloo in our hands through the superior military Intelligence of perpetually undefeatable United Yoruba Army. Their remnant flee with their tails between their legs peeing on their bodies, never to return to battle Yorubas again. History showed them that Yorubas are far superior to them, they can NEVER conquer us man to man in War or Wisdom challenge.

They realized that our Real Strength and impenetrability is in our UNITY as indivisible Yoruba People. That's why they've now resulted to deceitfully using religion to brainwash few senseless gullible ones to become their slaves and work to betray their own blood brothers to death. Religion can never divide Real Yorubas, because Blood is thicker than water. *Real Yorubas are civilized, we all believe in allowing other Yorubas to practice any religion they choose.* We are united beyond religion.

We are united by Blood and Language. *Real Yorubaness is all about being ready to do whatever it takes to make ALL Yoruba lives better.* Yorubas are not shallow-minded, shakle-minded or narrow-minded. We are united far beyond shackles and manipulative backwardness of organized religions like Christianity, Traditional Religion, or Islam, etc which have been used to cause divisions among people and make them to hate/destroy one another. The true God is LOVE, not Religion.

Seeking God is ultimate for Man, but the true CREATOR of Humanity would never encourage men to destroy or enslave other men.

We are permanently against anything and everything that would hurt or enslave any Yoruba. We are completely permanently for anything and everything that would empower ALL Yorubas Worldwide.

All our Children should be informed that Yorubas are not gullible; religion can not be use to deceive or divide us. Individual choice and affiliation to Traditional Religion, Christianity or Islam can never make us to prioritize one Yoruba over another. *Greatness among Yorubas is strictly by Merit of working to ameliorate ALL Yoruba lives without any bias.* Because of your religious affiliation, if you neglect deserving meritocracy to favour one Yoruba over another, then you a cancer among Yoruba people. Only those that meticulously work to make ALL Yoruba lives better shall be enthroned.

Anyone one that betrays any Yoruba because of affiliation to any of these religions shall die a Terrible Death.

No single real Yoruba supports killing of people in the name of religion. Real Yorubas are too intelligent to be that dumb. You know that "Change is the only Constant thing" If you are still among the already deceived Senseless ones, change for good to prevent your unborn generation from becoming eternal Fulani asslickers and perpetual slaves.

How on Earth can one still be in support Buhari and his less intelligent people that are killing your very own Yoruba brothers, raping your Yoruba sisters and ripping out your unborn Children from your wives' belly?! All because they manipulate your shallow gullible excreter brain with "belonging to same religion" deception.

Blood is thicker than water, only a super gullible fool trades his own tribal brother for money, position or religion.
You and your likes that do that are fake Yorubas. *In fact, you are worse than fake if you betray any Yoruba, you are a bastard Yoruba!*

Dividing, Ostracizing and ganging up against fellow Yorubas just because of religious difference has prevented Yoruba Race from maximizing the awaiting potential Greatness and Progress that would have since manifested. The great CREATOR of all has no religion, religion is man-made. We need ALL intelligent and God-sent Yorubas, regardless of religion, to manifest the unprecedented united Yoruba Progress that would forever marvel the whole World.

Nobody is still using Nokia 3310 or any first generation phone, because new generations of technologies "learn" from the past ones to "give birth" to more better useful ones. Real Yorubaness is NOT about belonging to Traditional Religion, Christianity, or Islam. Wise Generation always learn from past Generation to become better. World over, culture is dynamic, and Change is the only constant thing. Every part of our culture that makes us destroy other Yorubas must be expunged. Our forefathers would continue to shift in their graves and heavily curse us if we don't learn from their mistakes and improve; which is why they lived in the first place. It would be stupidly stagnating to continue to do same thing same way and expect a different result.

In the past, we've allowed division through religion to prevent the participation of very intelligent Yorubas that would have immensely contributed to our massive united Progress as a People. The myopic backward mentality of ganging up against other Yorubas just because of religious difference must STOP in our own Generation! *We have to love and unselfishly prioritize our collective future Generation over myopic cultural ego or religious ego, if we are Genuinely serious about wining this battle to successfully PREVENT our Children from becoming perpetual slaves to united People.*

Pride and myopic ego of thinking that we don't need ALL Yorubas to succeed as a united People has already made us to be the most trampled and ridiculed Tribe in Nigeria and in Africa. Hence forth, let's make ALL Yorubas feel welcome into Yorubaness, it is the only wise way to truly become the impenetrable undefeatable great People that we have been destined to become. Let ALL Yorubas know that they are all welcome to heartily participate and contribute to Yoruba greatness.

*"Yorubaness is all about being ready to do whatever it takes to make ALL Yoruba lives better.*
Forward to all Yorubas and Yoruba groups.

From: *Yoruba Unity International*

YUI Motto: *“Yoruba! Okan laje , l’ojo k'ojo Yoruba! Okan laje, n’ibi gbogbo!!!*

Nice piece. Article left out an important point for the dumb asslicking yoruba moslems, that those people dont see them as real moslems, nothin more than kuffirs before them. Dumb idiots...

Exactly

Do u wish to know the truth?

That 142k climbed from 2 months billing. When I first moved in, dat month, they brought a bill of 87k for d previous month only. I went to their office to complain and they even said that it is not possible. That I should ignore the sum erroneously written there and pay whatever amount I have. Then I appealed that they should erase it, but they said it wont be possible to clear it off. So I have just been ignoring it all this while.

I just knew thats what would've happened. A lot of people just foolishly post stuff here without deep reflection on what they post, as if they dont know a situation like thiss can easily play out in the criminal system we deceive ourselves we are running. Not there fault though, people actually lack the knack for deep thinking these days, just react to things on impulse or emotion. Effect of the criminal Nigerian situation on peoples' minds i guess....
