IGN I'm familiar with your game Do you know the funny thing? The Penguin reviews is for the complete episodes. From 1 to 8. WB/HBO released everything to critics because they are confident they made a very good series. The Agatha reviews is just for the first four episodes. There are 9 episodes in this thing but the critics saw only four. 3 Likes

abduleez1: The 300 series will be good only if WB get HBO level writers for it. Do not take any ideas from Zack Snyder, let him direct not write. |

Baddestguyp: Umbrella Academy should have ended with season 2. A series like that should have ended on a high, season 2 had a very strong and satisfying finale. I don't understand why they didn't end it there. I will always recommend Umbrella Academy to newbies but I will advice anybody watching for the first time to stop at season 2. |

HOTD S2 and The Boys S4 My two most anticipated series of year, both ended in disappointment So much build up and zero payoff They used a whole season as a teaser for the next season Rhaenyra and Alicent were robots this season. They barely make things happen, things happen around them and they waste time talking about it or reacting to it. Let me give you a summary of what Rhaenyra achieved in season 2 as the main character. - Mourns her son - Demands revenge - Fails to specify or discuss how to get revenge, rather she leaves that responsibility to Daemon. - Daemon kills a child and Rhaenyra scolds him and sends him away to Harenhal. - Gets undermined by her small council for good reason. - Complains that her small council does not fully trust her or believe in her. Despite the fact that she didn't bring ideas to the table. The small council were mostly the ones coming up with suggestions. - Stupidly goes to King's Landing to speak with Alicent and sue for peace. - She finally got a big win this season with the addition of 3 new dragon riders. But do you know the funny thing? The idea to recruit new dragon riders was not even hers to begin with. It was her son's idea and Myssaria (whatever her name is) was the one that suggested recruiting Targeryen bastards from King's Landing. - And she caused a riot with the small folk in King's Landing, Myssaria's idea once again. This is all Rhaenyra could achieve this season. Without Jace and Myssaria, she would have been lost. Let me not even talk about Alicent Hightower. That one has been relegated to side character and it seems like she has accepted her uselessness. You can hate Aemond and Aegon all you want but I enjoyed watching them this season more than Rhaenyra and Alicent. Aemond is a man of action. He doesn't sit around complaining. He kept Rhaenyra under constant pressure, he put himself out there and he got results. Aegon may not be as smart as his brother but he made some bold moves this season. Sacking Otto Hightower was a huge suprise and recklessly flying into battle, he may be stupid but you have to admit that guy has balls. Daemon was a passenger this season. The Harenhal sub-plots was essential for his character development but it took too long and it was very boring. Corlys Velaryon is the most useless hand of the king I have ever seen. If he doesn't come back in season 3, I bet you no one will miss him. He didn't help Rhaenyra at all. He's just a shadow. This season has been a big disappointment. I hope all that buildup is worth it in season 3 cuz if not, what's the point? 7 Likes 1 Share |

abduleez1: This is a great casting. I love Kumail Nanjiani Meanwhile, if James Gunn needs a "notewordy" actor to be Hal Jordan. It has to be Glen Powell. With the way his career is going, I think he might be the next movie star in Hollywood. Invest in him now before his stock rises too high. 2 Likes

NaijaMemes: The only winner here is RDJ. MCU saved his career and made him a multi-millionaire and he never belle full. Avengers 5 and 6 is going to have PS4 CGI because a quarter of the production budget will go to RDJ's bank account. 6 Likes 1 Share |

abduleez1: It might be up to James Gunn, Matt Reeves and Todd Phillips to protect the genre from sliding further into mediocrity. Kevin Feige is moving like a man running out on good ideas. I know the MCU is a mess right now and they are loosing the general audience but I still believe strongly that the Avengers, as a sub franchise within the MCU, has earned a strong reputation just like GOTG and Deadpool. The next Avengers films are guaranteed to be successful as long as they are well written and well directed. Hence, Kevin Feige shouldn't need to rely on nostalgia bait and RDJ in the first place. Bringing back RDJ is making me more worried than excited. Because it seems like Feige is not confident in his own ability to fix the MCU. If he was, why would he crawl back to Russo Brothers who have never produced or directed anything good since they left MCU? Why is Fiege crawling back to RDJ who used to be the face of this franchise and had a fantastic farewell? It smells like desperation and creative bankruptcy. The most disappointing thing in all this is that Dr Doom has never had a good adaptation in the movies. Feige had an opportunity to fix that and then ruined the casting by giving it to a guy well known for playing another popular comic book character within the same franchise. I'm hearing rumours that this Doom is going to be a Tony Stark variant or perhaps he's just regular Victor von Doom. Either way, this is very absurd. At the end of the day, I blame Jonathan Majors. If he hadn't ruined his career like Ezra Miller, we wouldn't be watching this mess. |

Baddestguyp: Bro I can't wait for this repetitive and overused Multiverse crap to end. "Multiverse" is the worst concept I have ever seen in superhero movies I'm sick and tired of it. I prefer the old regular superhero movies to this nonsense they are doing nowadays. Flash, Deadpool, Doctor Strange all of them used Multiverse to farm nostalgia and cheap fan service. The only movie that used Multiverse properly is Spiderverse. They prioritized good story and excellent buildup and strong characterization. The multiverse thing they used was just an icing on a really good cake. Every other superhero film is using multiverse as a desperate money-grabing scheme to lure fans with nostalgia bait and ordinary fan service. The sooner we move away from this lazy concept, the better. 2 Likes 1 Share |

=NaijaMemes post=131167621] Notwithstanding, no studio is perfect. There will always be hit and misses. The point is to make more hits. I can count on one hand how many misses they had before Endgame. The post-Endgame misses are too much to remember. Let's not pretend that all is well at Marvel/DC or the superhero genre in general. I'm will remain cautiously optimistic for now. DC has more missesThat's why James Gunn did the right thing and started afresh. |

NaijaMemes: It's Deadpool bro, what did you expect? Everybody knew it was going to be good just like the last two. We still don't know if MCU can replicate back to back hits after this one because since 2020 it's been one hit at a time followed by a bunch of misses Like taking one step forward and two steps back |

Chibudollar: This is why The Boys S4 is the weakest season yet Too many slow burn, filler episodes and irrelevant sub-plots. The finale was great. But I need the final season to be a banger from start to finish. None of these slow set up and filler sub-plots, we're done with all that. 3 Likes 1 Share |

I like - The collar - The logo - The brighter colour red I hate - The lines on all over the suit - The thick baggy look, it's like a jacket in this picture. I don't mind the trunks I'm tired of the Navy blue colour, I wish he had royal blue for a change.

GloriousGbola: I just finished watching the first two episodes of X-MEN 97. This is an excellent show. Well written with drama and suspense and characters I love. Too bad it's a sequel to a 90's cartoon series that I haven't seen. I don't understand some plot points here. Like why did Professor Xavier will his assets to Magneto of all people and how did Magneto become a good guy? I enjoyed the show regardless, again this is an excellent show. But you need to see the original 90's cartoon if you don't want to get confused watching this. |

BlackManta: It was inevitable. The show needs to improve sha. I thought season 1 was okay but there were a lot of things I didn't like about it. I will talk about it later. Book 1 is actually the weakest and Netflix did a decent job adapting it. And now they are going to adapt book 2 and 3 which were pretty strong. Fingers crossed.

Disney's Percy Jackson series and Netflix's ATLA have almost the same budget And yet ATLA looks ten times better You see this money laundering that Disney does everytime, the day foul nyash go open, I'll be there no matter what. The Marvels cost more than the 2012 Avengers movie ffs. 1 Like 1 Share

I just finished watching episode one of the Netflix's ATLA series. I'm actually suprised. This is better than I expected and my expectations were pretty low. I love the changes they made to the fire nation. They showed us the massacre of the air nomads. It was brutal. Fire bending is very well done in this show. They're roasting people alive here. Fire bending is very deadly, this is one part of the animated show that Netflix improved. The visuals are spectacular. You need to see this in 720p or higher resolutions. It's really beautiful. The kid that plays Aang is okay. He has the charm even though it's just a little bit but it's there. Sokka is okay. He has some of the traits of the cartoon version without the comedy. I thought the actor did enough to convince me. Katara is bland and boring. Nothing about this Katara resembles the one in the cartoon. The guy that plays Zuko did his homework well. Zuko here is straight out of the cartoon. Same vibe and everything. The bending is actually good. Especially fire bending. Earth bending is very well done, I was impressed by the earth bending I saw in the first minutes of the episode. Episode one started on a high. But the pacing was a bit off. Sometimes it felt like they were rushing. Episode one alone covers the first two episodes of the original show. The first episode is a 7/10 in my opinion. It's okay but there's room for improvement. 2 Likes 2 Shares |
