What I meant is that James Gunn has never had below 80 RT score on his comic book movies.

You can see the image I posted is his filmography for Marvel and DC. Nothing else.

His track record is solid.

I think for Gunn's Superman to have a RT score of 80 above is a win for him and his fans. I never expected it to get up to that point and it has over impressed me for that.. We see where it goes from here. At least it's a big step forward for WB to have faith on their new universe and on Gunn. I will see it soon and see if the movie can make any difference from other Gunn's movies I have seen..
It bothers me seeing Gunn handling the new DCU because I know we go chop enough cringe jokes taya and I no fancy things like that..

When they send John Wick after you. The only thing you can do is get on your knees and beg.

This is an excellent action movie. It's not just gun fights. They fight with flamethrowers, grenades and anything they could get their hands on.

I was fully entertained.

By the way, Just watched Jurassic world abi park - an average movie but still fun to watch. The most important thing was the Odyssey teaser at the end!!!
Nothing much just Tom Holland talking about his father to the Punisher and waves of water. Very careful teaser giving the fact they just started shooting

As expected. I have not seen a Jurassic movie that isn't average. The dinosaurs are the main draw and people love those.

I stopped watching when she said Tony Stark would not be Iron Man if he wasn't a billionaire.

I did not watch this man build his first Iron Man suit in a cave with a box of scraps to get disrespected like that.

I didn’t watch but my brother told me everything that happened and I’m really happy I didn’t watch cus it’s completely shit at the end.

The thing wey vex me pass is that the game will still continue so what’s the purpose of the season 2 if the main guy can’t stop it

Squid Game is the type of show where you need to switch off your brain to really enjoy it.

I figured this out in season 2 and I didn't have any high expectations for season 3.

The plot of the show relies heavily on the stupidity of the characters. It's not bad writing per se, it's just that the show was intended to be that way.

No reason am too much or else it will vex you.

I'm looking forward to the American Squid Game and I hope it doesn't rely on the same old idiot plot.

I like a comic book movie that knows it's a comic book movie.

None of that grounded, realistic, over serious things.

Just a comic book movie being action packed, colorful, exciting big blockbuster fun ride.

Clichéd, illogical, nonsensical...

I bought into the hype this movie has been getting over the past few days, and after seeing it, I just wish I hadn’t.

The writing was atrocious, even a pre-KG kid wouldn’t believe what they showed. Nothing made sense. They didn’t even put in the effort to make anything remotely believable. The dialogue was so amateurish, it felt like the actors met on set for the first time and just started winging it, blurting out anything with little care for coherence.

The casting choice was mediocre. Apart from Taraji P. Henson, the rest of the cast weren’t pulling their weight. It felt like they expected her to carry the whole film , but instead, they dragged her into mediocrity with them. There's a reason Teyana Taylor is better known for her singing than her acting , she had no business being in this, let alone being a co-lead. Her portrayal of Detective Raymond was so abysmal; her amateurish behind wasn’t detecting sht*. 😩

There was one scene where the Chief of Police asked her how she knew Taraji’s character wasn’t involved in the grocery store robbery. Instead of presenting logical proof or security footage, this heifer said, "I have a feeling." 😭

Now, I totally get the story they were trying to tell and I was actually invested in the emotional weight of it all. Like... man, poverty is a disease; it can destroy the mind 😔. But like most of Tyler Perry's films, the execution was just too flat for me to take the movie seriously. He's still chasing sensationalism instead of logic. He can tell nuanced stories about Black people in a way that leaves a lasting impression, but instead, he keeps recycling old formulas.

And maybe Taraji P. Henson needs to stop picking up his calls...
