Look at Marvel with nine projects in one year

I saw it and I was worried.

This is too much.

They are going to release 9 projects in one year. Regardless of how good or mid these projects might turn out to be.

There's a new release almost every month.

There's a minor plot hole in The Penguin that no one is talking about.

THE ABSENCE OF BATMAN in this show doesn't make sense.

I understand that the showrunners have their reasons. Batman is too big to be in this show.
Even an ordinary cameo could result in drawing attention away from Oz and Sofia.
Hence his absence.

Valid reason, make sense if you see it that way.

BUT hear me out.

A lot has happened in Gotham already.

Alberto Falcone was murdered.
The Falcone family were gassed to death.
And now Oz is flooding the streets of Gotham with a new drug. Bliss.

And Batman doesn't show up. Even worse, this guys are going about their business like he doesn't exist.

Matt Reeves better have an explanation for that in The Batman part 2.

There has to be something personal or more dangerous that's keeping the dark knight distracted.

That's the only way to make up for this plot hole.

They are not making any progress on Blade.

Marvel Studios never had any plan for Blade to begin with

It was Mahasharla Ali's idea, he pitched it to Kevin Feige after he won the Oscar.

The movie was announced in 2019 and since then they can't seem to figure out what kind of movie they want Blade to be.

I have always been against Marvel's decision not to recast T'Challa.

An iconic black male superhero was erased and we might never see him again.

I love the animation.

This is the level of animation I was expecting from Invincible.
It doesn't have to be like Arcane but it has to look beautiful and sharp.

I just saw it. It's good they didn't take 3 years to drop another season

Also there won't be a mid-season break like they did for last season.

Amazon actually listened to the fans complaints and did the right thing.

That mid-season break was a terrible idea and it killed the hype for season 2.

Hype or not, people are still going to show up to watch it.

And whether the show gets back its season 1 hype and has people talking again will depend on how dark the plot goes. For example, there was nothing in season 2 that was on the same scale as Omni Man taking out the Guardians or nuking Chicago. Season 1 had people hooked from the very first episode.

Anyways the February release is just rumours. I dont see them dropping season 3 so soon after season 2. Would be nice if it was true tho

Carmine Falcone does have a habit of strangling.

Remember when he tried to kill Catwoman in The Batman by strangling her.

The 6 girls that were murdered had all been at the 44 Below inside the Iceberg Lounge.

Guess who else was murdered and also been to the 44 Below?

I'm glad WB and James Gunn chose this man now that he's still an upcoming actor.

"Catch them young". It's not when they become big movie stars you start toasting them.

Chris Hemsworth, RDJ and Scarlett Johansen were still rookies when they joined the MCU.

Today they are bigger and no studio can touch them without paying them big money.

DCU has not officially started but we already have 3 actors who will lead a future Justice League movie.

But since I use money go watch Aquaman 2 for cinema this January out of curiosity. I fit still stick to am. But these ratings and word of mouth from many fans ain't encouraging at all.

Seems that decision to make it a musical hurt after all.

Impressive numbers.... I'd like to see how it compares to The Last of Us, Euphoria and The White Lotus S2. Tho, I know it's higher than the last two, I'd like to see its comps against other HBO big titles.

I want Thunderbolts to do well because I need more movies like that.

The problem I have with CBMs nowadays is that they don't like taking risks. They rather stay in their confort zone and make the same type of movie over and over again.

How many multiverse movies have we had in the past five years? That concept has been overused and bastardized because it guarantees big bucks without having to do anything special outside of nostalgia baits and fan service.

That is why I didn't fall for D&W hype and the idea of RDJ returning to MCU.

I will take a Thunderbolts movie over a multiverse nostalgia bait with Hugh Jackman and Tobey Maquire jumping portals to fight evil Tony Stark.

Penguin viewing numbers are out.

Why do I have this feeling that James Gunn, like many of us in the early 2000's, spent his Saturday mornings watching this cartoon

He is obviously using this cartoon as a template for the DCU.

Justice League Unlimited had established heroes who had been around for years.
Superman existed in a world with many heroes just like him. The JSA had been around since WW2.
John is the main Green Lantern.

I don't know. But it's kinda obvious what Gunn is doing.

I hope this movie has high stakes. Because if you're going to rip off Suicide Squad, at least try and copy the major factor that makes it unique.

The director of this movie also worked on Beef. One of my favourite drama series. I have no doubt it will be good.

This is the only MCU project worth seeing next year.

Not that Captain African-American with multiple reshoots and a director that bailed on the movie halfway.

WB/HBO released everything to critics because they are confident they made a very good series.

The Agatha reviews is just for the first four episodes.
There are 9 episodes in this thing but the critics saw only four.

The 300 series will be good only if WB get HBO level writers for it. Do not take any ideas from Zack Snyder, let him direct not write.

I would love Jensen Ackles but Lanterns is going into production next year and Jensen is busy with The Boys S5 and another spinoff series.

He's a good actor and a nice name with pedigree but he's too old and won't push the TV show audience much.

They're going for al older Hal Jordan who's a mentor to young Stewart.
I'd have liked someone like Oscar Isaac.
If we're going, that old, kukuma give us Tom Cruise. If they really want old, give me Justin Theroux and I'm good. He's old too but dude has good genes and could easily pass off as an early 40s man. Just the exact age range they're actually looking for.

I'd love Aaron Pierre to be John Stewart tho.

Now that I have seen the other names on the list, I'm suprised that Josh Brolin is the first actor they considered

Because all these actors will fit Hal Jordan better than Josh Brolin
