Everybody know this one nau

Snyder is excellent as long as you don't let him do most of the writing work

BVS, Army of the Dead, Kryptonian Zeus and all the weird sh*t he had planned for Justice League sequels still turns my stomach anytime I remember them

I hope the writing is just as good as dem visuals.

Snyder is an excellent director when it comes to visuals and highly entertaining action sequences.

But the writing in his movies dey get k-leg sometimes.
I'm also worried about Sofia Boutella as the leading actor.

I have seen her in Kingsman, The Mummy and Hotel Atermis but only in supporting roles.

She has never been a lead and I doubt she can carry this movie

This movie looks incredible

Too bad it's a Netflix original

Imagine watching this film in a cinema.

Rebel Moon looks like a real blockbuster not the kind of movie you watch at home.

Warner Bros should do the needful and bring this man back home where he belongs.

WB is the studio that made Zack Snyder a household name, just like they did for Christopher Nolan

Zack Snyder's talents are being wasted at fvcking Netflix

My man needs to go back home ASAP

The execs in charge at Warner Bros watched Blue Beetle and The Flash and decided to give The Flash a $150m marketing budget.

A movie with troubled production and a criminal actor that goes around assaulting people and breaking the law.

Blue Beetle deserved better especially as it's the better movie and probably the best thing from DC this year.

The marketing budget this movie got can barely pay my rent in Enugu.

Blue Beetle flopped as expected...

The DC brand is almost dead and only a hard reboot can save it but it's gonna take time and serious effort.

Anyways, I watched Blue Beetle yesterday and ngl the critics were right about this one.

This is a good movie. There's a lot of heartfelt moments in this movie, the action is good, the story is okay and it has solid characters.

The Latino cast is great and everybody brings their A game.

This movie is not groundbreaking by any means. It is kinda similar to other superhero flicks you've seen before.

But it is hella fun and very entertaining.
It is a family movie. A very good family movie.

As a matter of fact, I watched this movie in a cinema with about two dozen people and I noticed a family of five all dressed in matching outfits in the room with us.
Everybody had a good time.

Blue Beetle is not a perfect movie.

The first half is a bit above average with exposition left and right and some moments where I thought the movie was starting to loose me.

But the second half is nothing short of spectacular. The movie draws you back in again with very good action scenes and family dynamics that will get you emotional.

Even the villain who was generic and uninteresting at first got a moment to shine in the third act.

Did I mention that this movie has high stakes.
At least 3 or more characters died. I can't get into details cuz 'spoilers'.

Xolo Mariduena shines as the lead. He fits the Jaime Reyes/Blue Beetle like a glove.

Blue Beetle has the vibe and feel of the early 2000s superhero films.
If you didn't like those superhero films you watched as a kid I don't think you will enjoy Blue Beetle.

I can't believe I'm saying this but Blue Beetle is way better than The Flash imo.

The third act alone clears everything The Flash tried to do.

I didn't expect it but Blue Beetle is surprisingly good.

My expectations were low and this movie still left me entertained and satisfied.

My rating- 7.5/10

I got a feeling this movie will surprise a lot of people.

Blue Beetle might be the best movie coming from DC this year.

The bar is low anyways but this movie looks like an underrated gem that's not getting enough attention

I'm optimistic and I'm getting ready to watch it this weekend.

There's a reason David Zaslav insisted on this movie getting a theatrical release even though it was initially made for HBO Max at the time.

Batgirl and Blue Beetle was produced around the same time but WBD decided BB is the one worth protecting.

We're going to find out why very soon.
Very nice

I hope it stays in the 80s or at worst, high 70s.

Come to think of it, this is currently the highest rated DCEU movie since James Gunn's The Suicide Squad cool

Of course people won't show up to see this movie because DC brand is dirty right now but I really hope it gets an "A" Cinemascore and good legs that will help it break even at the BO.

Asswipe turned us down ....

Fsg, klopps and the sporting director should not be stupid to keep dragging this caicedo deal .. Take that money and get us lavia and andre ..

We go still get change inside to get us a Cb
Lavia has now rejected us sad

And I don't blame him at all. This is all our fault. We spent 3 weeks haggling over price with Southampton when Lavia wanted to join us and Chelsea hadn't entered the race yet.

Southy wanted 50m and we bid only 46m. Only to go after Caicedo all of sudden, showing everyone including Southampton that we had 111m to spend on a DM.

Imagine how Lavia felt watching us trying to sign Caicedo.
Chelsea beat us to Caicedo and now they have hijacked Lavia, a player that initially wanted to join us.

Lavia has every right to reject us.

We are not a serious club.

Lavia would have been a Liverpool player since last week if we had paid the 50m price tag.
We wanted to pay 46m instead.

Imagine missing out on a homegrown DM who wanted to join us because of ordinary 4m.

This is embarrassing.

Now we are back to square one.

What do we do?

Who do we sign?

This transfer window has been horrible for us.

What were we doing when Fabinho was about to leave?

We should have sorted out a new DM even before Fabinho left our club.

Klopp, Jorge Schatdke and FSG are responsible for this mess.

Transfer window closes in 2 weeks and every club knows we are desperate.

I'm absolutely disappointed in the way we've conducted our business these past few weeks.

The new technical director Jorge Schatdke is a complete slowpoke.

Take me back to the days of Michael Edwards in charge of our transfer business.

I miss that man every day.

Let's wait and see before making conclusions cos I feel she's just talking her own.
Developing a new Wonder Woman film doesn't necessarily needs to include her.

Honestly, I also don't want her in the new universe. She's not a great actress and since the major guys are out there's no appeal for her anymore.

I want to get confirmation from Gunn before I believe this her narrative. Most of the actors are doing speculations.
Even Blue Beetle actor Xolo Mariduena was saying some days back that he's in talks with James Gunn for Blue Beetle appearance in multiple projects. TV shows and movies and hints about Booster Gold.
James Gunn should stop talking to them.

He shouldn't make any promises or feed them the idea that they might stick around in DCU.

He should block their numbers until further notice.

Gal wouldn't be saying all this nonsense to the media if James Gunn hadn't talked to her about her future

This is all Gunn's fault.

I don't want that woman anywhere near DCU. Throw her away.

I am absolutely disgusted by the idea of Gal Gadot returning to play Wonder Woman in DCU.

I thought we were getting a reboot. Paradise Lost is supposed to be start a fresh reboot of the Wonder Woman story.

James Gunn should toss this woman away and get a new actor for WW just like he did for Superman.

I see no good reason for her to come back.

I don't mind John Cena and Viola Davis reprising their roles because they playing D and C list characters respectively not leading men that will be the major faces of the franchise.

But the big characters, the Justice League and the main draws that will carry DCU should all be new faces .

The last 4 Batman movies from Nolan's trilogy to Matt Reeves Batman all had the gritty serious tone and guess what....They are well received by the audience and widely successful.

I just finished reading Wonder Woman Historia and I absolutely enjoyed it.

It's a very very good Amazonian origin story and I'm glad it's one of the books that will be adapted for Paradise Lost series in DCU.

The first 3 episodes of the series is more than enough to do justice to the book.

I just need James Gunn to find a very good showrunner to handle it.

I can see his vision and I like it.

You really need to watch Across the Spiderverse. They handled Multiverse better than any other movie.

Money is irrelevant here. Michael Bay's dogshit robot movies also made bank.

Is it even easy to bring three different iterations of spiderman to mesh them into cinematic genius.
So it's about nostalgia? Okay

What was even special in the dark knight except ledger's performance? The batman didn't look imposing. I even prefer dark knight rises to that.
Asides Heath Ledger, the plot of TDK is incredibly well written and keeps you at the edge of your seat from start to finish.

I consider the Reevesverse bulletproof and untouchable. Matt should have have total freedom to build and continue to develop Batman's world.

And if he thinks disconnecting The Batman from DCU will help him achieve this, then so be it.

BUT Hitop makes a very compelling argument here with solid points that I can't stop thinking about.
It's a good video. Y'all should watch it.

With or without SAG strike, Dune is going to be very profitable.

They have an opportunity to recoup all the money they lost this year and get some additional profits.

These casting reports are starting to make sense now.

At least James Gunn is doing something different with his Superman reboot.

I'll take this over another origin story.

Superman Legacy is going to be unique.
