Why was the Oba of Lagos attacked , ? It wasn't really an Endsars thing, to begin with. The agitators had to hide under something legit that is emblematic of oppression to the Nigerian populace. The question is, why burn anything at all? I have watched countless protest on CNN and despite the several crackdown and killings, you hardly hear that buildings are set ablaze |

- The sars officers that kills and nothing is done about it in most cases - The scores killed at Borno State by Boko Haram - The Fulani herdsmen that kill for fun and nothing is done about it - The kidnappers. - The blood sheds during election. - The 20-10-20 event....... etc
So with all this life that are lost, you expect me to be moved to sympathy by the destruction that is happening.
Which is more important, the life or the properties? So the killings make this acts justified? Would you have said this if you father's vehicle got burnt in these senseless and tactless acts of vandalism? Because scores were killed by BH and Fulani Herdsmen, others should be robbed and looted? Because of the killings of unarmed "protesters" a number of buildings should be burnt in retaliation? I honestly have no words to describe this foolishness. |

I was neither for or against the disbandment of the police force unit, SARS, so I was mute when the protest started.
It is a peaceful protest, after all, and people should be free to express their discontent, so I was like... ah you guys can carry go.
However, bearing the circumstances of the Lekki shootings and even prior, it seems this so-called endSARS cause isn't going to yield much, but it would cause so much mischief and mayhem.
Suppose the security officers weren't supposed to kill these peaceful protesters, even then, the actions of these agitators in the aftermath is just downright callous, wicked, and insensitive. How can two wrongs make a right? If I get infected with AIDS and get angry promising to avenge myself, sleeping with any and every skirt I see because they should close their legs too, would that be right?
Look at what happened in Kano, some non-indigenes were protesting in Kano City and Sabon Gari and I think did some mild damage. They said they were going to visit the Government House the next day. It is rumored that the governor sent some Dandaba to harass them. These paid urchins clashed with the protesters and the aftermath wasn't funny. The aftermath of many protest never ends well anyway. They looted dry a very big mall, some carting away with deepfreezers and the likes. They burnt the church of one of the best missionary secondary school in Kano. They burnt cars surrounding the area, burnt another Redeem Church. All for what? Endsars! All of these happened yesterday.
Then tell me why you can be so stupid and insensitive, we want SARS to end but we are on a burning spree.
It doesn't make any sense whether they are hoodlums or not because they couldn't do this without what is perceived as a just cause - End SARS.
Look at Lagos too, burning malls, banks, offices, stations and other places
Mr. President, hear me now please, there is no just cause anywhere. Even if it is a just cause, it is being done unjustly. If you fold arms, this may degenerate into full blown civil war. The oba did not disapprove of their actions. Neither did the owners of tvc and the others. There is no justice or sanity or sense in any of these.
Mr. President, I request that you command a shoot at first sight order. There should be no mercy at all. The actions of a few is getting out of hand. Some of these people can barely afford to indemnify a fraction of the cost of repairing these buildings.
Whether they want SARS to end or you to resign, there are honest and transparent ways to do it, not in acts of arson and vandalism. Shoot them now. Shoot at first sight. Idiota |

PhiliptheArab: The problem with restructuring in Nigeria is that it ends up being all about who controls the oil.
From the view of the South, the North gets too much of the oil money....and as a result neglects its own resources to eat the Southern resources.....so Nigeria must be restructrued in a way that the South gets more of the oil money while the North gets rich on 'aagrcultue' like the good old days.(forgetting that the guaaranteed markets we had for agric in the 1960's are gone long time ago)
The North thinks the South is benefiting at their expense, and as such there has to be a 'fairer sharing arrangement' (foorgetting that the oil money, even if it was given only to the SS is not enough, even for one region)
Either way, both sides should learn that there is no national cake, should raise taxes, and should stop running socialist welfare states . Nigeria should cut subsides in power and in oil so that investment can flow leading to more jobs and more power stations and refinereis, meaning more jobs.
In twenty years time, we would be in a position to restructure witout ffighting...even split up easily self. @bolded. You could not have said it better. Now that electric cars have come to stay, I wonder what oyel money we would be talking about in the distant future. By restructure now proponents' logic, only states that generate oil should enjoy more of the proceeds and how many states are they? Tell me why it's fair to demand higher share than a typical Northern states because you share border with an oil producing state but do not produce oil yourself? If it's not hypocrisy, tell me what it is. |

This is not a bandwagon, Nigerians know where the problem lies what was absent until now was the courage to confront it. If Kebb, Ilorin or Owerri decides to setup power plants like Lagos, I guess they'd hardly be stifled. There is so much politics and selfish interest in that Lagos decision. |

Imo state has one of the largest gas reserve in Nigeria , they can build more power plants ...sale the excess power to other states that doesn't have power

Never even talk of service based sectors , agriculture ...imo can be the biggest pig exporter in africa , biggest poultry producers in Nigeria

Igbo no get oyel.....Igbo no get oyel! Yet the little one we have, they’re thieving!
In simple terms, RESTRUCTURING means everyone (state or region) should answer their papa name! Only crafty individuals trying to buy time for themselves will claim not to understand this! You are talking ignorantly. What does Nigeria manufacture that sells? Nothing. Even if we manufacture anything, it would barely scrape the surface. Tell me how a restructured Nigeria would help many states to be independent. How bros. Look at Lagos IGR and the second runner up, Rivers, the latter is almost a third of the first and how do they generate their IGR. OYEL. Then Delta state. Then we have a worrisome trend of extremely poor performance. If there is something that would better individual states, why haven't they found it? Would a restructured Nigeria be any good? The truth is, if Nigeria is restructed, barely 5 states would do well. All the others would suffer terribly. The IGR is a good pointer and don't get started about how necessities is the mother of invention. |

psucc: Let's hope you mean it.
According to our Constitution, Nigeria is a federal state. Meaning, it is made up of units that are being united. Thus, by that, each federating unit ought to have a certain level of authority in the management of resources at her territory while paying tribute to the central government, this time, the Federal Government.
2. The Federal Government would only be in control of the Armed Forces, Int'l (External) Affairs, etc.
3. That rather than the FG sharing allocations to the federating states as presently practiced, the reverse would hold.
4. Each state will not wait for others or best be dragged by others. That is, rather than the present practice where most states rely on the central government for funds, they would rather explore measures to generate and grow their IGR.
5. Thus, they will explore areas of their advantage such that those with vast Agricultural land can boost agriculture and end from same while those with mineral deposits, will also earned revenue from it. just as Zamfara is currently managing the gold deposit in her territory. I like your points. Very sound, I must admit. Your first point, the smaller units should be stronger, autonomous and independent, even higher than the FG since point 2 is valid? The third point is hot, but have you looked at the IGR released very very very very carefully? Most states barely generate enough. Barely. Nothing is keeping them from doing so though and even Lagos State is able to pull that weight because of the FG's multiple investments in that state. But then again, states get allocations based on the revenue they generate so I don't see the problem. The fourth point is not very valid. If you can raise money, then you're free to do whatever you want with it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if Gov Wike decides to provide uninterrupted power supply for Riverians by borrowing funds from China to setup a power plant, who could stop him? No state is dragging any other state bro. On the 5th point, they have not explored those areas because in a sense there's nothing to explore. All the have explored is still not enough to meet their needs and restructuring would not create any urgency. And even if it does, the result is the same |

I am clueless as to how restructuring this country would help matters.
By restructuring, are you saying Nigeria is made to separate to 5, 6 or 7 countries?
The 36 states would be defunct and a new partitioning would exist?
If yes, how many states do you envision?
Or, the system of government currently practiced in addition to the states and allocation would be changed.
Afenifere is talking of restructuring this country but I don't understand how it helps the Yoruba people. They no get oil.
Igbos are shouting restructure but the same fate awaits them. No oil.
How exactly is a restructured Nigeria a big disadvantage to the north and would you kindly explain like I'm 5 years old, the whole restructure brouhaha?
People just like to shout restructure but have no idea what they are talking about. |

nwaezeemmanuel: If the reverse is the case, say a woman decides to lose so much weight within a short time period - it can have the same effect.
This is not a myth!
Much like how many obese people drastically lose weight and have left over skin folds or stretch marks - the breast is not immune to this. Brother, you are not arguing your points decisively. Gaining weight is akin to expanding more of your skin, more of your body mass, more heart mass, more everything. That is pretty basic. So, when you try to lose weight, it is only to be expected that there would be a shrinkage which creates leftovers. So losing weight is not gaining weight. In fact, saggy breast is more a result of lost weight than weight gain. Thank you |
Romance › Re: 6 Causes Of Sagging Breasts by Blackmiserable(m): 4:02pm On Oct 15, 2020 |
nwaezeemmanuel: You may still disagree, but i don't say things i am not sure of.
Weight fluctuations affect the stretchiness of the skin.
If a woman heavily packs on weight and adds huge body fat within a short time - trust me, her breasts are not just going to become bigger and remain well rounded.
They most likely will droop a little or more Not true. Anecdoctally, I lived with two women my age some 10 years ago who were well fed. They eat quality food. Everytime. Every day on a two year stretch and their bosom is just as firm and well rounded if not bigger. This is because the nutrients in addition to the fats are getting stored in the right places in the breast unless you want to argue that the breast has its elastic limit of which adding other fats breaks down the breast structure. I want proof to that. Now there's going to be exceptions but I fail to see how more body weight sags the breast. It just doesn't make sense to me |
Romance › Re: 6 Causes Of Sagging Breasts by Blackmiserable(m): 3:43pm On Oct 15, 2020 |
nwaezeemmanuel: Dramatic weight gain can cause saggy breast.
If a woman adds so much body weight too fast, trust that she is also packing body fat rapidly.
Breast is largely fat, if it is not increased steadily - it may stretch out too much and sag.
This is not just theoretical, it happens! I don't agree bro. Myth sold and believed. Eyaah sorry. You don't get saggy breast by adding weight. It doesn't make any sense at all. How does adding extra fat to fatty tissue makes the breast sag? Then being more and more obese would do what to the breast? Like, how you believe this lies baffles me. I used to read your comment and you seem to be very intelligent. Like? Bro? Is it you? |
