Fashola is right, the president has his own duties while the state governors had their own duties

Duties like water, sanitation, rent, property laws, state security, state road, state employment and pension are in the hand of the state government.

There are many state government not doing anything except stealing state property who should they be accountable to.

Everyone keep focusing on the federal government while the state government do nothing to better the lives of their people
You are correct.

Yes! Subsidy must go but what are the shock absorbing measures in place to cushion the effects. Free floating the naira is one of the most disastrous policy ever taken taken by the grab and snatch master.

One of the biggest lie of subsidy removal under this useless government is that subsidy removal makes resources available for the masses because everything about it is being embezzled by the wicked burgeoning class especially the criminals in government.

The current economic reality is a clear case. So being itchy and twitchy while being moved by white heroin is not political sagacity or sophistication.
It is only the myopic lazy minded citizens that expect an economical miracle overnight.

Even the Almijiris on the streets In Kebbi, jigawa, yola are expecting a miracle overnight.

You might need to use a dollar card linked to your domiciliary account. You can ask your bank though, this thing is confusing.
I have a dollar card linked to my domicillary account, what if I wanted a few 100s of dollars cash in hand?

Yeah it is confusing.
BusinessRe: Nigerian Banks Have Stopped Paying Dollars For USD Inflows. Wow!! by blacknp(m): 11:22pm On Feb 09, 2024
Slimani:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6FHFxUoYkzU

The CBN has released a revised guideline on international money transfers in Nigeria. Banks have now been instructed to stop paying dollars for all USD inflows from abroad, and instead to payout only Naira to recipients. This is an interesting decision by the CBN which might go a long way to curb dollar round-tripping and other sharp practices, starve the black market of dollars and make the naira more stable.

However, this has been implemented before by a previous CBN administration, and have largely failed to revive the Naira or even have any positive widespread impact, instead it discouraged businesses and people in the diaspora from sending dollars to Nigeria through official channels.

The question on my mind is, what happens to the dollars in domiciliary accounts that was received prior to the issuing of this new guideline? There are over $30 billion sitting in domiciliary accounts across Nigerian banks. If this new guideline is maintained, that means the banks would have to convert all the funds in those domiciliary accounts to Naira at their own approved exchange rates.
What if I want to withdraw my money to travel overseas, do I change it to Naira, then buy it back in dollars?

When Lagosians rightly labeled Tinubu as a draconian Taxmaster, una no gree hear word. For this man and his wicked APC, IGR increase is the only measure of a successful government. If masses complain of hardship, they would tell masses to celebrate record-breaking IGR.

In normal countries, heads of examination bodies are commended based on pass rate and student participation but APC was praising head of jamb based on revenue he brought in.
That is the job of the individual schools.

Please don’t confuse your hungry school principal with the registrar of JAMB.

Foreign AffairsRe: Why cant Israel And Us Strike Iran Directly? by blacknp(m): 12:06am On Feb 05, 2024
makemoneywbsite:
That's going to be a very costly war due to the sheer size of Iran. For Israel, the economic impact would be dire since their warplanes would have to fly long distances on sorties before hitting targets in Iran. For the US, the implication of hitting Iran directly would cost them in men and money and the politics behind such a war would tell on the American presidency. Hitting Iran and starting an all out war means that the US would be sucked into fighting to win the way they did in Iraq and the opposition (Republicans) wouldn't see a victory if Ayotalla is not removed (regime change). To remove him means American boots in Iran, American boots in Iran means more bodybags to send home. So Israel is better off hitting Iranian targets in Syria and assassinating Iranian top generals and nuclear scientists using Mossad. The Biden administration is better off letting missiles do the jobs than commiting men on the ground. For America, it is mainly politics. For Israel, it is mainly economics.
Ordinary weak Afghanistan they couldn’t win in, after 20 years & $899 billion spent fighting the Taliban, the so called the alliance of nations ran away overnight? na Iran Yankee & NATO wan go fight?

Even NATO & The Yanks hiding under the guise Ukraine cannot defeat Russia till date despite all their economic & military sanctions on Russia, and economic & military aid to Ukraine?

US of A, is only interested in prolong warfare to sell their weapons for economical gains, they are the greatest beneficiaries of war, & rumors of war.

Best response from you so far. Why were you dignifying his type with a response. They thrive on jealousy. You should have known that by now. Have you asked yourself why Igbo are the only people confident enough to want their own country? The reason is that they're the only people who are aware that the whiteman has no right to decide our destiny as a people. Most other ethnicities cannot imagine a survival without Nigeria and without Igbo.

Even top military analysts said that the odds against Biafra was 4-1 at the commencement of the conflict. They also posited that were the odds 3-1, Nigeria wouldn't have defeated Biafra. Biafra was the only war that the two super powers (USSR and USA) supported one side. Normally, USA would support those that USSR opposed but in Biafra, both the Russians and the Americans became friends (America probably because of the British) and Russians despite being involved in Czchekoslavakia. The reason is obvious, Europeans and Americans saw Biafra as a light that would herald African renaissance. No other Africans had the innovativeness of the Biafrans. That's why someone wrote a book, "In Biafra, Africa Died" Imagine an Africa that could have taken a cue from Biafran technological prowess and woke up from its state of being a warehouse of raw materials being exploited by the Chinese, Americans, Europeans, Indians and even Lebanese.

Even the innovations of Biafra of 1960 such as refining fuel, cannot be accomplished by Nigeria 50 years later, talk less of building rockets. Folks like SuperOnyi have already made good points. If Biafra could build warships and airstrips and missiles, it would have become a country competeing with the likes of Israel and Iran, not Niger Republic and Cameroon.
After this your long epistle, The irony is that the man that led you into a foolish war, ran away to preserve his own life, leaving over 3 million dead, yet still came back home to campaign for NPN’s one Nigeria, & got married to a Miss Nigeria?

Foolish are the ones that died for nothing over a mad man’s aspiration.
