would you prefer destruction of properties, deaths or a chaotic environment  - The Last Uk strike against pensions was like a carnival  -

What  you should be worried about. Gradually the econonmy is being brought to a halt  - Remove Lagos , abuja and Kano . Nigeria would be finished.

One truck and not 1600  - Are you aware of the logistics involued in sourcing and delivering 1600 buses in a matter of days.  I think we should agree that part of the buses where on ground before the announcement was made.

PoliticsThe Real Drain On Nigeria And It Is Not Subsidy by blacksta(op): 10:31am On Jan 10, 2012
Feed your eyes  - Remove all the allowances and Estacodes - Here you will have savings of almost 2 trillion Naira.

Dont be deceived subsidy wont destroy - It is leadership mismanagement that will eventually destroy Nigeria

5billion allocated to the Office of First Lady -  Hope it is an English School

PoliticsRe: So Was It Occupy Nigeria Or Occupy Lagos And Kano? Questions! Questions! by blacksta(m): 10:57pm On Jan 09, 2012
Everything you listed cannot be achieved under Gej. A man who feeds on 1 billion naira a year.  where is the sincerity and dont give me that BS that the corrupt system preceeded gej. How many times do you buy furniture in year.

Don't worry I believe along the way the protest will gather momentum and a specific ideology. Let the police carry on killing protesters

ekt_bear:
Not really a meaningful move until the PHCN successor companies are privatized.
Doesn't make a difference if they are all directly employees of PHCN or now employees of the successor companies; in the end still government employees.

Much ado about nothing, I think.
Just what i stated earlier - Many here behave like they lack formal education.

what is the name of the transition company  - where is their struture.

I guess  it is another one of those "  23 licences given to refinery operators"
PoliticsRe: Protesters Shut Down Warri, Effurun, Udu by blacksta(m): 5:02pm On Jan 09, 2012
Beaf

Why you deny the obvious - baffles me -

Anyway just to let you know - the protest is gradually turning into a ethnic war - Just as you have desired.

As you stated " if GEJ cant rule nigeria , the country must burn"
PoliticsRe: PHCN Divided And Liquidated By FG by blacksta(m): 4:57pm On Jan 09, 2012
I am confused  -

Who is currently providing electricity - is not phcn  - when you scrap an organisation  - I thought transition to the new company would have happened before scarping .

Abeg give me break  - Things like this only exists on the pages of newspapers.

Next month you will hear " Scrapping to commence 2013 "  -   Who is fooling who  - here.

One thing I have definitely observed during this subsidy protest - All government  agencies even the ones that are redundant are all currently sending out positives messages via twitter, facebook , tv, and so all.

Definitely propanganda machine is work -   Let see who will win.
PoliticsRe: Strike: N-Delta youths warn NLC, mobilise for Jonathan by blacksta(m): 4:46pm On Jan 09, 2012
Why anbody would want to make this a tribal protest  - beats me    - Fuel hardship or related issues knows no tribe.

Anyway Niger delta youths only exists on the pages of newspapers -

The Minister of Finance
The CBN Governor
The entire Economic Team says: NIGERIA WILL COLLAPSE IN 5 YRS IF SUBSIDY STAYS, YET NOT UP TO 1% OF NIGERIANS IS PROTESTING WHILE 99% STAY HOME AND SUPPORTS SUBSIDY REMOVAL.

Subsidy must go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Will Nigieria not collapse when 1.2trillion is allocated 469 persons  - or a president eating 1 billion naira worth of yearly meals

Please get your head right - The protest is against corruption is high places.
PoliticsRe: Nigerians, Let's Welcome Change! by blacksta(m): 11:29am On Jan 09, 2012
You guys are missing the picture - Nobody is saying subsidy should not be removed  - but it needs to be carried out with sincere motives.  According to recent government statements, government was actually borrowing to support subsidy . So where is the 1.3 trillion savings comming from.

1. Timing has to be right
2  Appropriate pallatives measures on ground not freaking 1600 buses
3 why cant refineries be fixed

At this point in time  - Protest has moved away from subsidy - The focus now is now government corruption.   Change can only come from a leader who himself is ready for change.  How can i adjust whilst he is feeding fat £11,000 daily.

In short what is happening  - Government is transferring the payment of subsidy to the already burden masses - Is that what you call subsidy removal.
PoliticsRe: Three New Refineries Coming Says Works Minister by blacksta(m): 10:01pm On Jan 08, 2012
then remove the subsidy when they arrive - why not fix the existing ones instead of building new ones. Oyinbo people call that one " quick wins"
Foreign AffairsRe: US Economy Created 200,000 Jobs In December, What's Wrong With Nigeria?! by blacksta(m): 9:35pm On Jan 08, 2012
Bad Leadership. Look no further - How many times has Obama gone out of the US to look for business opportunities for american firms and equal that to useless trips by the Past and Present leaders of Nigeria

Wish I was there.

The last time People protested in London and New York  - Yaradua and Cabal Fell within days.   No Regime has ever outlasted the Will of People.

If the worst of IBB and Abacha can back down , who the hell is GEJ

How long can Nigerians remain docile -  One day docility will break.

PoliticsRe: A Must Read ! Before You Go Out For Any Protest: by blacksta(m): 2:31pm On Jan 06, 2012
@Beaf

I have read the article  - The truth about the article. Everything stated is already a known fact.   Subsidy removal must go , we agree but timing must be right.  You cant expect the nations to tigthen it belts whilst we observe government wastage everyday.  Leaders must lead. How do you explain the yearly government office renovations - Beaf, do you buy furniture every year? or 1 billion allocated for feeding two families and may be somes guests.

If a governments acknowledges it cant deal with leakages - then it has no business leading.  In the whole of Nigeria  - Are you telling me we cant find indivduals or organisation who will man fuel import stations and provide government with actual figures.

Actually Sansusi's message is  - because of a weak government - the best thing would be throw the baby and bath water away.
PoliticsRe: A Must Read ! Before You Go Out For Any Protest: by blacksta(m): 2:14pm On Jan 06, 2012
Beaf:
I have always been against the fuel subsidy, but after reading what Sanusi has said, I actually now see the protesters as subversives and enemies of Nigeria.
Simple as abc

Rather than burden the masses - Tackle those who break the law. Who is bigger, the state or an individual.

A few who corrupt the system is not valid reason to remove subsidy.

Will the Uk government remove train subsidy if i have a free ticket printing machine at home.
PoliticsRe: Delta State South South Nigeria Protest Against Fuel Subsidy Pictures by blacksta(m): 1:16pm On Jan 06, 2012
it cant be - This must be in the middle east .

Mr Beaf has gotten every predictions wrong

examples

1. Dopkesi is going down
2. Tinubu is going down
3 Buhari is boko haram
4 .And other mad predicitions

- why anybody takes him serious - I wonder - I can conclude that Beaf reality is definitely not what is on ground.
