PoliticsHow Atiku Misrepresented Fact As Per Nomination Of His VP In ACN 2007 by blamingthedevil(op): 9:13am On Oct 06, 2023
How @atiku misrepresented fact as per Nomination of his VP in ACN 2007:

1: Recall that @atiku
was already promised by MKO Abiola to become his VP. So the issue of Muslim - Muslim ticket was settled.

2: The AC agreed that Atiku should be their Presidential Candidate. No disagreement.

3: One man called Bashir Yusuf Ibrahim brought a blank form for Baba Akande who was the Chairman to sign. The form was INEC nomination form. Baba refused to sign.

4: It was known that Atiku should have chosen his running mate from AD elements of ACN.

5: Names Atiku failed to mention in his local press conference were Segun Osoba, Niyi Adebayo and Lam Adeshina .

6: They met Atiku and Tinubu was proposed to him. Atiku promised to get back to the delegation. They met at a later date.

7: Those who attended the meeting were: Atiku, Audu Ogbe, Tom Ikimi and Usman Bugaje, Osoba, Niyi Adebayo, Baba Akande and Lam Adeshina.

8: AD proposed TINUBU as VP. Again, Atiku said he needed more consultations. Ikimi, Ogbe and others were all strong against Tinubu because of Muslim - Muslim ticket.

9: The meeting was DEADLOCKED. Atiku NEVER SAID ANYTHING.

10: But anytime the party needs money, Atiku would say “ Bola pls help us”

11: Atiku did not consult other blocs of ACN when he picked Ben Obi.

12: Baba Lawan Kaita confessed to Baba Akande who was the authority to sign INEC form that Atiku had chosen Ben Obi as his running mate.

13: Baba Akande eventually signed.

14: Only, LAGOS state from South West voted for Atiku in all the South West states.

15: Atiku deceived AD elements of ACN. That was the point N- PDP members raised whey he was avoided at first during merger of APC.

16: Tinubu was campaigning for Atiku/ Ben Obi after that betrayal.

17: Who and who financed the Presidential campaign?

18: So who betrayed who and who?

PoliticsAtiku Misled The Public On Muslim-Muslim Ticket - Woye by blamingthedevil(op): 6:14am On Oct 06, 2023
Don’t twist History @atiku: In 1993, Atiku as usual contested our party then, SDP Presidential Primary in Jos.

2: First Ballot, Atiku scored 2,066 votes. kinigbe scored 3,225 while the big elephant then scored 3617.

3: A second ballot was the next thing as the vote between Kinigbe and MKO was less than 400.

4: So MKO got into a deal with Atiku to support him.

5: Each contestant were allowed to speak and when it was in turn of Atiku, he directed his supporters like 342 Gov to vote MKO in exchange of the post of Vice President.

6: In 1993, Atiku supported Muslim - Muslim ticket.

7: In his own book, he wrote it. He said, I quote “ we would support MKO’s candidacy for Presidency in return for making me ( here ATIKU) his running mate.

8: We met Abiola and we agreed to push for ABIOLA - ATIKU ticket “ end of quote.

9: So why misleading the public that you have been consistent against MUSLIM- MUSLIM.

10: You wrote this in your book. The book titled is “ my life” autobiography.

11: He repeated the same story in his book authored by a respected man, Onukaba.

12: fact check: Atiku misled the public on Muslim - Muslim ticket. Argue with his book

Validated:
@OP, do you even know what ex-factory price means? It means what distributors pay per bag. Then you add distributors margin (10%), transportation (another 10 - 15 %), then retailers margin. By the time it reaches the man at Ogba, it would be N4500 to N5000.
The ex-factory price is the cost of a product when it leaves the manufacturer's facility, excluding any additional costs such as transportation, taxes, or retailer markups.
PoliticsBUA Cement Reduces Ex-factory Cement Prices To N3,500/bag by blamingthedevil(op): 6:42pm On Oct 01, 2023
BUA Cement reduces ex-factory cement prices to N3,500/bag effective October 2, 2023.
——- -
We refer to our previous pronouncements regarding our intent to reduce cement prices upon the completion of our new lines at the end of the year, in order to spur development in the building materials and infrastructure sectors.

As per the commitment made to reduce prices and following a periodic review of our operations for efficiency, the management of BUA Cement Plc wishes to announce and inform our esteemed customers, stakeholders, and the public that effective October 2, 2023, we have decided to bring the price reduction forward. As a result, BUA Cement would now be sold at an ex-factory* price of 3,500 Naira per bag so that Nigerians can begin to enjoy the benefits of the price reduction before the completion of our plants.

Upon completion of the ongoing construction of our new plants, which would increase our production volumes to 17million metric tonnes per annum, BUA Cement PLC intends to review these prices further in line with our earlier pronouncements by the first quarter of 2024.

NOTE: all pending, undelivered orders which had been paid for at the old prices will be reviewed downwards to N3500/bag in line with the new pricing from October 2, 2023. Our licensed dealers are also enjoined to ensure that end-users benefit from this reduction in ex-factory prices as we will monitor field sales to ensure compliance.

Signed:

PoliticsI Am In Serious Debt And Mentally Unstable - Obidient, LP Candidate by blamingthedevil(op): 1:03am On Oct 01, 2023
One of the candidates of the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 general elections, Harrison Gwamnishu, says he is in serious debt and no longer mentally stable.
Gwamnishu, a human rights activist, had contested State House of Assembly seat in Delta State in the March 18 election and lost.

In a Facebook post Saturday evening, he narrated how he had been struggling to repay loans he secured preparatory to the election and how his business went south.
He said he had sold some his property, including a car, in an attempt to pay off the debt.

He wrote, “I want to sincerely appreciate you all for your support over the years and being part of my journey.

“Just to inform you all that I’m in serious DEBT and I’m no longer mentally stable reasons for my recent post. Some friends have reached out and advised I let this out.

“I didn’t defraud anyone. My business went bad as this can be verified. Some of my friends gave me loans during my election.

“I have made effort in paying by selling my car gifted to me and also sold some of my property to pay off this debt. I have given them date and failed as I have no other possible solution to pay this debt.

“I have lost sleep, lost friends and relationship and never thought I will ever be going through this phase. My dad is currently suffering from the shock all this has caused as some of them went to my parents to threaten them.

“My love for humanity doesn’t stop me from having my own personal issues. Please to those who look up to me and feel disappointed, I am sorry that I am going through this. I am human and I can make mistakes too, but I am definitely not a fraud.

“Life happened to me and I pray that I can come out of it soonest 😭😭😭”

PoliticsTribunal Strikes Out Rhodes-Vivour, LP From Jandor’s Petition by blamingthedevil(op): 1:57pm On Sep 25, 2023
The Lagos State Governorship Election Tribunal has struck out the Labour Party and its candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, from the petition of his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) counterpart, Olajide Adediran popularly known as Jandor, against the recent governorship election.

Jandor is challenging the return of Babajide SanwoOlu and Obafemi Hamzat in the March 18 governorship election in Lagos State.

Shortly after the announcement of appearances by all lawyers and parties in the case at Monday’s proceeding, the Chairman of the tribunal, Justice Arum Ashom, announced that the court would first deliver judgment in the case of the PDP & its candidate before giving its judgment in the petition of the governorship candidate of the Labour Party, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour.

Justice Ashom also yielded the floor to his brother judge, Justice Mikail Abdullahi to read the judgment on behalf of the panel.

The third judge on the panel is Justice Igho Braimoh
.

The tribunal, in its judgment read by Justice Abdullahi, first dwelt on the preliminary objections filed by the parties.

The first objection taken is whether the 3rd Respondent, the Deputy Governor of Lagos, Obafemi Hamzat is a separate and distinct candidate from the 2nd respondent, Babajide Sanwo-Olu. The tribunal was also asked to determine whether the deputy governor could be listed as a respondent in the petition.

The Tribunal noted that this issue has been decided in a number of cases and went on to hold that a deputy governor and governor are not separate candidates and they are not required to pay a separate security deposit.

In the second objection, the tribunal was asked to decide whether a person who lost an election could be joined as a respondent in an election petition.

Jandor had joined the Candidate of the Labour Party, Rhodes-Vivour as a respondent in his petition. Citing a list of decided cases, the tribunal agreed that a petition is contemplated to be filed between the winner and the loser of an election and not between two persons who lost.

The tribunal therefore upheld the preliminary objection and subsequently struck out the name of the 5th respondent, Rhodes-Vivour from the petition filed by Jandor. The tribunal also expunged from its records all exhibits tendered in evidence by Rhodes-Vivour in the petition filed by Jandor.

The tribunal went on to hold that Rhodes-Vivour cannot subsequently go on to challenge any part of the judgment of the Jandor’s petition or else he becomes a meddlesome interloper.

In a similar vein, the Tribunal held that the 6th respondent, the Labour Party ought not to have made a respondent in Jandor & the PDP’s petition. The name of the party was subsequently struck out for being improperly joined. All evidence and exhibits concerning the party were also expunged from the tribunal’s records.

The Tribunal however disagreed with the objections made by the APC & its candidate that the Mis joinder of the LP & its candidate was a ground for striking out the petition.

The tribunal held, “That the 5th & 6th respondent ought not to have been made respondents to the petition cannot rob the tribunal of the jurisdiction to hear the parties. The question of misjoinder cannot lead to a striking out of the petition as the proper order to make is to strike out the names of the parties”.

“Already the name of the 5th respondent has been struck out and the 6th respondent who has been found to be improperly joined is also ordered to be struck out”.

Hearing of the judgment is still underway as of the time of filing this report.
