PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS MINISTRY OF FINANCE INCORPORATED (MOFI) BOARD OF DIRECTORS

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of ten qualified Nigerians to serve on the Board of Directors of the Ministry of Finance Incorporated (MOFI):

(1) Dr. Shamsudeen Usman — Board Chairman

(2) Dr. Armstrong Ume Takang — CEO/Managing Director

(3) Mr. Tajudeen Datti Ahmed — Executive Director, Portfolio Management

(4) Mr. Femi Ogunseinde — Executive Director, Investment Management

(5) Mrs. Oluwakemi Owonubi — Executive Director, Risk

(6) Mrs. Fatima Nana Mede — Non-Executive Director

(7) Mr. Ike Chioke — Non-Executive Director

The Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, Friday said the Students’ Loan Application system was being designed in a way that there is no interface between the loan administrators and the beneficiaries.

Gbajabiamila reiterated that efforts were underway to ensure the take-off of the scheme in January 2024 to ensure that Nigerian students could access the loan “to fund their educational aspirations.”

He spoke in Lagos on Friday while delivering the lecture titled, “Empowering Nigerian Youths in the Present Day Economy” at the 35th convocation ceremony of Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH).

Gbajabiamila said that to make the process seamless, “applicants will apply online, be verified online and credited based on the verifiable documents and credentials they submitted.”

He said, “Nobody will need to know anybody to qualify for these loans so that access to this financing will be genuinely egalitarian.

Last week Adeleke illegally removed the chief justice of Osun state, PDP guys kept mute
Some months Edo governor practically appointed all the local government chairmen and fired his deputy nobody said nothing in PDp
Sunday we found out Alex oti just under 3 months spent over 5 billion (8x budget for education) on government house, spent over 30 billion naira on 6.7 kilo meter rd 😂, Not one obedient is conderming this.
And y'all think you are ready for a better Nigeria. Let's just stop at this point.
In 2027 if they like let white man become the president of Nigeria I don't care.
For now I will only focus on my state and my region.
Fighting for Nigeria is a waste of time.
