On a serious note the op didn't say anything particularly negative about the doctor. He was just stating fact and y'all just pounced on him like hyenas on a stolen kill. One would think the doctor had built a hospital in your village the way folks got so defensive. grin
Not fair sha.
I think it's because it was so different from what we had been made to believe. It's really disturbing because I had always seen him differently. Thanks op, for opening my eyes.

How can the chief economist of a country think that raising taxes on long phone calls, which will depress spending, telco revenue, and ultimately telco jobs, will help an economy in recession?
That's why he should focus on his job which is monetary policy and leave fiscal policy for the finance minister. Govt is looking for where to get money to spend on themselves and not on the citizens.

only in Naija not even India with their madness.

Go back 2 hours after this guy was arrested and you will not find him again. He will speak language to his tribeman or pay a paultry 2k. and they warn him to desist. The danger he poses to road users is immaterial.

Only in Naija
See assumption sha. He could have just spoken language to him and avoided being arrested going by your analogy.

By turning the price of oil around , I guess he means the oil price will increase. This statement alone from him makes all his predictions null and void for me.

If a large oil reserve is found in commercial quantity in nigeria, it further drives the price of oil down because there is oversupply in the market at the moment and this causes the price to go down to woo buyers.

When we are talking of production cuts to raise prices, someone is talking of how more reserves will raise prices. You don't just wake up and give prophesies because you are good at prediction, and you can add one or two things together, the gift of prophesy is not owned by everyone.

You took the words straight from my mouth.

As a Christian, you need to pay your taxes. Not paying your taxes means you are deliberately lying and cheating. Don't let the mismanagement by govt make you do the wrong thing.

Imagine if you are confronted by VIO and taken to their station. They ask you for your proof of tax payment but since you don't have, it means you will have to bribe your way out. Definitely not what a Christian should do.

Sorry to disappoint you. That amnesty was forced on him by democratic congress in lieu of securing the Mexican border. Reagan was the one flooding America inner cities with drugs to find the contras and Sandanistan war in El Salvador.
Forced or not, it was one of the biggest things that happened for some. Through those ones, they were able to file for others. I will reiterate, No other president has done it. For some people, it was a defining moment.

I grew up when Reagan was wrecking black America and I survived. No matter who is the president, I am going to do very well because the good man above has been very good to me. No one wins all the time. You should worry about your wellbeing.
Reagan that gave most illegal immigrants amnesty and citizenship? Has any govt after him done something similar? Is that not how a lot of our relatives got their papers in those days?

Family › German Court Rules 16year Old Girl Can Have Sexual Relationship With Uncle,48 by blank(op): 6:27am On Nov 04, 2016
German court rules 16-year-old girl can continue sexual relationship with her 48 year old uncle

A 15 year old schoolgirl's sexual relationship with her uncle will be allowed to continue after a court in Germany ruled the pair had a right to be together.

The teenager from Schildow, Brandenburg, has been with the 48-year-old since she was 14 and the couple ran away together last year sparking a police manhunt.

The court based its ruling on the absence of any criminal law prohibiting the relationship between the uncle and the 15-year-old girl simply identified as Josephine due to German privacy laws.

Josephine had claimed she was in love with her uncle and had consciously decided to elope with him.

The teenager’s parents thereafter approached the court for an order restricting the uncle from being in contact with their daughter, a request that was challenged by the 14-year-old.

The judge ruled that at 14, Josephine’s decision had to be respected and that she risked “serious damage in her social-emotional and mental development” if she was prevented from further contact with the uncle.

In the ruling, the court noted Josephine has clear views and priorities, which she has also claimed and demanded.

Additionally, she has consistently expressed her desire for a relationship with her uncle as 'goal-oriented and stable'.

The decision also notes the girl has an 'above average intelligent' and was a 'girl who had matured early and quickly reflected a lot on what she wanted'.

The court however stated that the decision in no way amounted to an endorsement or approval of the relationship.

“The relationship may be socially undesirable and unacceptable, but it is not covered by criminal law, and not categorically forbidden,” the judge held.

In Germany the age of sexual consent is 14, like in most European countries, as long as a person over the age of 21 does not exploit a 14 or 15-year-old person's lack of capacity for sexual self-determination.
