So I'm sitting at the lounge of a well known park and heading to Lagos. Its 6.30am in the morning and I'm thinking I should have been here earlier. I'm patiently waiting to get my ticket when this 'lady' pushes thru to the front. I glance at what she is wearing and I mentally gawk in amazement.

Its a gym workout suit. You know, the kind new-yorkers wear, extremely fitted and very tough but light fabric that leaves absolutely nothing to the imagination. Absolutely nothing. Her buttcrack is very visible and her gluteus is covered in celulite as evidenced by the subtle bumps on her posterior. The front...OK I tried really hard not to look but curiosity got the better of me and yep; the cameltoe was on easy display for all to see. The top was better off, or maybe because I'm used to seeing skimpy tops I don't really know.


Funny enough, what comes to my mind isn't that the woman is loose or how can she stomach all the stares she is receiving, or how she can't possibly know this is a gym suit and not meant for travelling. What comes to my mind is that the Westerners are spoiling us rotten. They are corrupting our minds and debasing our way of life so much that we don't even know when we are making fools of ourselves. At 6:30 pm the same day he was deemed not to be an Ebola risk and he was subsequently escorted to hospital “without biocontainment measures and isolation,” according to a doctor. However, he died 25 minutes later.

Although the man was a Nigerian traveler, his wife told Spain’s The Local that he had not visited Nigeria in the previous four years.

Emergency surgery is apparently the only way to save someone suffering from the effects of a cocaine overdose which has resulted from bags bursting in the stomach. The period of time for which he was left unattended on account of contagion fears would have proved vital to his being saved.

I have lived all my life in the northern part of this country and witnessed all the intrigues and schemes that accompanied the elections in 2011. Remember, Buhari was a presidential candidate while Tunde Bakare was his VP. I can tell you authoritatively that in all the posters of Buhari spread all over the northern parts of this country, Tunde Bakare's picture was not there. In fact, you would think there was no VP candidate. Its only in the southern part of the country you heard the VP's name, as far as the north was concerned, only Buhari was recognized.
