89K vehicles vanishes into thin air under 12 months....that's some crazy figures...These oyinbos will soon start adopting d Nigerian style of building high fences and massive gates around their homes if these continues... ![]() Same way it happens in SA...they steal ur car and dismantle it...tracing such cars is close to impossible |
papijulah:Well, i am not based in Lagos...I only visit for business from time to time and i see govt presence everywhere i go...and people hardly talk bad about him except for maybe d waste management he's getting all wrong....But u live there...and obviously have a contrary opinion about him...then do d needful with ur PVC in 2019. |
In politics people need to choose their words carefully as the political foes are watching raptly for u to make a statement they will use to run u down...this is one...and with video i just watched...there is trouble in paradise for APC in Osun...as such Tinubu needs to go back there in person (as a sign of respect to the good people of Osun) to rephrase and apologise in person to them...If not i see that single statement affecting about 30k APC potential votes if not more. |
No matter how strong Tinubu is in Lagos...he just can't make d mistake of dropping Ambode...This will be d end of the Tinubu hold on Lagos if he dares to tamper with d people's choice. I get it...maybe he thinks 2nd term Govs are very difficult to control...hence, this power play...but if care is not taken, he might lose it all...wisdom is profitable to direct. |
dyydxx:lol Kashamu...trying to imagine him as our Gov...oh my God... ![]() Ladi will have a lot of trouble convincing d Ijebus to support him...because if they support another Remo man now...they might not present a Gov in d next 16 years or more. I learnt Amosun and some Ogun West leaders tried to make GNI decamp to APC after d 2015 elections, but he was playing chess with them...i don't know what he was thinking...if he had decamped he probably wld be their candidate now....but like u said, maybe "it was never meant to be". |
dyydxx:Well, March is still a long way out...let's see if Daniel, Kashamu and Adebutu can collapse their structures...d only way out for them, i don't know...Daniel wants d Senatorial ticket...Adebutu and Kashamu wants d Gov ticket...whether they will be able to reach a compromise remains to be seen...their coming together is d only way to give APC any wahala next year. |
yomi96:I am a Yewa man...personally, i would have preferred GNI...but his platform is very weak...so voting for him is like just wasting my vote...so to me...Akinlade is d best bet for my people to produce d Gov for d 1st time since forever...and might be our best chance in d near future. Though Amosun is not perfect and has really not bn too good to d civil servants in d State...but he's d best Gov to ever govern d State...with d current price of crude oil, fed allocation and IGR, it will be difficult for anyone to balance infrastructural development in d a state like ours and keep d Civil Servants 100% happy...not that i am supporting d months of deduction he's owing ( after all my mom is a Civil Servant too and nearing her retirement), but d fact that he's able to do dis much is good enough for me...it could have bn worse u know...he probably could have pocketed d monies and still be owing salaries....We are already losing grounds on infrastructural development as a country...and we in Ogun needs it to take advantage of d overflowing population of Lagos. So to me, voting a certain PDP that is known for sharing money will affect infrastructural revolution d State is currently enjoying...so continuity is d way to go. Though political cabals are usually seen as a bad thing in Nigeria...but it could as well be a good thing...Take Lagos as an example, d Tinubu-led cabal and continuity in governance under APC is d reason why Lagos is moving at d pace it is moving...it could be d same with Ogun with a performing Amosun...because to me, having someone to put u in check keeps u on ur toes to perform in office...unlike those have no one pushing them. Note: this is strictly my own viewpoint and i totally respect urs 100%...after all we all for a better Ogun State. |
TheAngry1:Here in Ogun, we don't play the religion card...that's why u will never hear of a Muslim- Christian clash in d State...and for ur information, Ogun State has had four democratically elected Govs...d 1st 3 were Christian and Amosun is d 1st Muslim to govern d State...even all d Military administrations but 3 of d 12 were Christians..so religion doesn't matter in our State...we look at d individual and d party...chikena. |
yomi96: ![]() March next year is not far...may God spare our lives beyond next year...But i am telling you that Akinlade will win d entire Ogun Central...He win atleast 3 of d 5 LGs in Ogun West (Ado/Odo, Yewa South and Ipokia LG...maybe even Yewa North.. who knows)...That's already 9 LGs in d bag...APC will win atleat 3 LGs in Ogun East...Then its game over. The main reason why GNI can't win is simple...his party is weak in Ogun and he doesn't have d financial muscle to build structures for d party across d State...Obj has no political strength in Ogun politics and won't even give anybody his money to run for office. As for Adebutu, he is a Remo man and not an Ijebu man...Ijebus want an Ijebu man as Governor not someone from Remo again after Daniel who came out thru d same Remo...another factor would be d ouster of Kashamu from PDP...if he's not pacified in PDP he may just play d spoiler...now i am hearing that Bimbo Ashiru as just resigned from d Amosun government...meaning he will run as an Ijebu man most certainly on another political platform...technically he can't win but he will weaken Adebutu in Ogun East. Ordinarily Triple A has no political clout for now to win even Ogun West Senatorial ticket...But with Amosun on a Senatorial ticketat d Central and his achievements in d district ...plus d political platform, APC...Akinlade is good to go. It won't be easy...a lot of work still need to be done by Amosun to close ranks with d aggrieved and sell his candidature to d Ogun voters but it will be a close guber race sha. |
senatordave1:GNI can only perform in 2 LGs in Yewa...Yewa North and his LG, Imeko/Afon...Yewa South will vote triple A and he will sweep his own LG Ipokia...Ota has always bn pro-Amosun. |
lenghtinny:The fact that Amosun is running is the joker for APC in Ogun Central...Any day any time, Amosun has Ogun Central in his pocket because of his infrastructural feats in d district...hence, he will definitely deliver the central for APC...While Ota is locked down for APC too...As far as APC takes Yewa/Awori and Egba...they just need a fraction of votes from Ijebu/Remo to win d game. |
faorex: ![]() Though i am not God, and i have only one vote...but go and write it down...GNI can't win in 2019...When GMI had everything at his beck and call (Federal financial support and even had heavy weights supporting him)he failed...is it now that d stingy OBJ is supporting him that he will now win?As we all know...OBJ himself used to struggle to get votes for himself in Ogun when he was in power. He's going to win Only Imeko/Afon LG and maybe have a strong outing in Yewa North. The rest is over d bar. |

famousroland: ![]() U no get fridge for ur house? Go and try it now... |
Triple A, as he's popularly called by his followers will have to work very hard to win over his own party members who are aggrieved for what they termed as a slap on their faces-especially d aspirants from Ogun West...I was there last night where d decision was reached...while some of d contestants grudging accepted Amosun's choice...some angrily went home...including Suraj Adekunmbi, Speaker OGHA. Though i heard he's performing well as a Rep now in his constituency, but with this man as candidate for APC, it will be hard for APC to retain d State...and with d news in circulation that APC also wants to choose its Senatorial Candidate from d same area-Yewa, against d popular believe that d Aworis of Ado Odo (d LG with d highest no of voters in Ogun) should present it. Amosun is a political gamer...i hope he knows what he's doing...because this calculation is confusing...time will tell sha |
Shukuakukobambi:Though i might be wrong...but i think his move to contest is political...He has to be on d ballot paper to secure d entire Ogun Central for APC...if he's not, it might affect d APC potential massive votes in his Senatorial District. |
Issokay... ![]() Right under ur nose APC took over all d Senatorial Districts and few constituencies in ur State and u are here yarning dust...no problem, keep underestimating them until they steal ur stronghold right under ur nose...even if Wike wins re-election, if Wike keeps taking d electorates for granted in Rivers i see PDP in d minority in d State House of Assembly come 2019. |
Na so Da Grin start...I don't know why people play with death...4 dis country wey bad belle people full...right from d villages to d most sophisticated places...Issokay |
So establishing a privately owned International Aviation College is now an achievement to be celebrated as an ex-Gov? Does the money generated from it go into d purse of d Kwara State Govt? He established it outta d Kwara State money he stole. But wait, how can someone steal from a State so much and still fail to leave any genuine legacy behind ...Well sha, it is left for d Kwarans to do d needful...if they fail to do so...na dem sabi |
As in i keep wondering how Onazi is still making d list of invited players...it is baffling ![]() |
kunlexy0807:When he had everything at his beck and call he lost...so now that there is no money or security personnel to do his bidding he will beat both APC and PDP to d seat? ![]() |
resurgent2019:And d fact that they are not as accommodating is infuriating...d kinda freedom of owning businesses and buildings by d Igbos in Yorubaland can't be tolerated in d East. |
Is okay o... ![]() One thing i know is that: Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain...Psalm 127:1 |
APC issa gooaaallll!!!! ![]() |
Vizzy4u: ![]() Musa dey there now...but Ighalo sabi score against African teams...if we can't beat those people comfortably then we don't have a National team yet. |
Well time will tell...When dis man went to Katsina to campaign for PDP in d last month's by election...i was like wow...Buhari is in trouble...i thought APC was going to lose...but then d result came out and PDP was floored... ![]() No doubt, Kwankwaso is d best candidate PDP can rely on to give Buhari a run for his money in d North...but d question remains if he will get d ticket...if he doesn't, i see him joining another party...and d more these bigwigs in PDP go their separate ways d more they divide PDP's potential votes...Buhari's supporters' votes are untouchable...Let's keep our fingers crossed sha...whether or not d red caps wld translate into votes for Kwankwaso remain to be seen. |
Seychelles vs Nigeria 0-4 ![]() |
deomelo:As in ehn...I just tire for them ![]() |
The guy is just bn smart...he wants to position himself in case Wike becomes a Vice Presidential candidate. |
Beating Seychelles is not a problem to me....but d scoreline matters alot in this group...i suspect goal difference will come in handy for d eventual winner of d group. because this one that some of our most creative players are pulling out is not good enough. |
