My friend I can tell you many companies that target Lagosians as customers site their companies in Ogun border Lagos for them to pay their tax to Ogun Cox to them Ogun tax are cheaper and easy to fault, of which many of them ply that road. Ogun are suppose to construct their own ends of the road Cox they benefit more by that
Well, you have a point there.

Whose Atiku? What's my business with Atiku?

The truth is that, Oshiomole lost so many States than he met, and might still lose more through the court and subsequent elections...Even Oyegun would have returned Buhari elected...So what exactly did Oshiomole do? This man has caused more division in APC than he met...his Waterloo is just around the corner...watch how people come for his head soon.

Oshiomole...very uncouth fellow...too uncouth to be a major party's Chairman...his actions, inaction and arrogant statements made APC lose so many States...Now, he's digging another one for his party at the National Assembly...I don't see him being at the helm of affairs of his party come 2023.

People living around those border towns work in Lagos and pays their their taxes to the Lagos State Govt, while they sleep in OgunState, yet they will be expecting the Ogun State govt to use part of its scarce resources to repair their roads...unless a kind of synergy is formed between Lagos and Ogun govts, these border communities would keep suffering like this.

SW politics is very dynamic. U all should know that by now. If by next election, ppl feel any of the governors didn't meet their expectations, they waste no time in switching to another party and it will be like Tinubu is winning again. Whatever happens to apc in any sw state should not be seen as a spite on Tinubu but rather on the governors themselves. Afterall few years back, Ondo and Ekiti were controlled by PDP...
Well, you have a point there.

Most Govs don't work again at the tail end of their administration...Thank God the one in Ogun is pushing hard to finish some of his projects before he exits office...The good thing is that most of these projects can't even be abandoned by the incoming govt because they are situated in the heart of the capital city.

So, it is the fact that it was aired on TV that makes that primary authentic?
It is not the matter of been authentic...he asked for the primaries that produced Akinlade...at least people gathered in their thousands to vote...as for Dapo's where was it held? I live in ABK and no primaries were held on the said day...a day which happened to be a school day...most public schools in d state houses polling units...students were in school on the said day--and primaries were held? How and where were Dapo's primaries held? because it didn't happen in Ogun Central, neither did it in Ogun West.

Two wrongs don't make a right...if u are saying Amosun conducted a primaries that was not supervised by the NWC, then u went ahead to conjure results in ur sitting room to counter that process, what does that make u?

Tajmahal1000:
For you to have referred to Pa Olusegun Oshoba, a well-known progressive politician, from 1992 (when he was first elected as Governor of Ogun State), Afenifere/AD/AC/ACN chieftain, fighter for democracy during Abacha’s regime and who escaped being killed by Abacha’s goons on three instances, including the burning of his home (when many like Amosun were nowhere to be found), but who, due to Amosun’s complete high-handedness in 2015 left briefly for SDP, as ‘a defector called Osoba’ in comparison to an unstable, domineering character called Ibikunle Amosun, who was a foundation member of PDP, and who later defected to ANPP, before the same Osoba begged Tinubu to admit Amosun into ACN in 2011, showed that you know nothing about politics!!!

Your comment was complete drivel; rubbish, signifying nothing but lies!
While I agree with u on what Osoba went thru during d military era...I beg to differ with you on the d last 2 lines pls...Osoba never wanted Amosun to be ACN's candidate...in fact, he was termed Tinubu's candidate in 2011, and almost left until he was prevailed upon not to...and one thing I think people should get straight is this, Amosun was a strong candidate without a strong platform and ACN a strong opposition without a strong candidate...The two parties did one another huge favour- they needed eachother to win...and if both parties had gone their ways, Olurin would have won.

You can peruse this link to further get the gist.

RisMas:
Seriously, Jagaban needs to be fixed. Afenifere/AD frustrated you, You left their party, created your own and everyone stood by you.

You chose your successor, gave senatorial ticket to your wife and you won it all. Why cant you allow others to have their ways too? Where was Osoba in 2015 when APC needed him most, shebi he was in SDP supporting Jonathan against this same Amosun you love to have. Now, you chased Amosun from the party, handed the structure to a defector called osoba and expect him not to fight back. Amosun isnt saint either, but Jagaban's over bearing influence in south west is getting much.

Before you roast me, I supported Buhari & APC SAK during the last election. We need to tell ourself the honest truth.
Pls let them hear the honest truth...Sadly enough, they keep living in self-denial...The truth is that, Tinubu is gradually losing grip of SW...OYO is gone...Ondo might follow suit...Ekiti is not under him...He only now has Lagos, Ogun and Osun...Osun is living on d edge...what played out in Osun was obvious for the world to see...and except the court disqualifies Ademola Adeleke for producing a fake result, he would eventually win provided the Judiciary is not compromised...As for Ogun, time will tell.

The truth that Tinubu boys are failing to get is that, the man is losing his sh*t in the SW.

Receive sense. Akinlade lost primaries. It is that simple.
The question i keep asking is this, where was the election that produced Dapo Abiodun held? At least the one Akinlade said produced him was shown on TV...so who is deceiving who?

Dapo was handpicked by Tinubu and his cronies....simple

This Saraki's matter will Make many develop sudden HBP walahi. He's got nothing to lose. The otoge revolutionists would soon know what's up. My friend's dad was a beneficiary of Saraki's scholarship schemes which gave my friend the opportunity of enjoying quality western education. In my undergraduate years in ilorin, I remember when many poor people would go to his dad's ( turaki ilorin) house to collect money every Friday to sort out their pressing needs. Some should get house rent etc. I was surprised how all these were forgotten in a hurry by the revolutionists who were hell bent on sending Saraki off power. Their case would soon be like that of anti ghadafi protesters in Libya who later realised they were deceived by the west to oust ghadafi. 2 years is too much to begin feeling the pain. Unfortunately those who sponsored otoge including Tinubu would have reaped the benefits alone and abandon the kwarans.
Have u forgotten that all d benefits u mentioned up there were enjoyed by d Kwarans while Bukola's father, Sola , was alive- d same father Bukola betrayed. Not just that, while Sola opened his doors widely without restriction, Bukola's open door policy is not even up to 25% of his dad's. Olusola was well connected to his people.

I agree totally with you...I know peer pressure could be hard to ignore in some instances, but self-restraint should play an important role...if only they know what they are signing on for...sadly enough, some knows, and still go ahead with it anyways.

I blame poor parenting and poor effort on the part of schools (from Pri-Tertiary) and the Nigerian government for condoning this menace...it will shock u to know that Primary school pupils are now being initiated right under their parents' and teachers' noses...even our correctional facilities are breeding more of them...and the society is slumbering away without curbing it...what do they those little kids of 8-12 know? All these people graduate to become more hardened criminals (armed robbers, kidnappers, assassins, electoral thugs, etc) after school when they find it difficult to fit into the workplace...sadly enough, some even graduate from tertiary students to tertiary lecturers in their alma mater.

Religious organiations that should help build the moral compass of the people have switched their attention to pursuing wealth, and wealth only...and the society is decaying away...and if something is not done ASAP, everybody will bear the brunt...we have failed as a nation.

May God help us all.
