Your mom is repentant and remorseful, which are good characters. But this woman we are talking about here is neither repentant nor remorseful. Don't compare your mom to thus funny somebody.

An elected officer is no more "someone's dad"; He is now a public property and he must fulfil his electoral promises. If he fails in that regard, then he should accept anything that comes his way, including insult. Stop being unreasonably sentimental.

Have you tried linking up with salons? You can strike a deal with them, promising to give them discounts on each item they sell. They can be your affiliate marketers. If your discount can be more than what they make from the ones they sell, they may even stop buying from others and be collecting from you since they won't have to spend money to buy and they can also make more or equal profit. Hope you got my drift?

But I think you need some market survey before doing that; you will need to find out which brands sell fastest and how much they make on each. Then you can now decide if you can beat the profit via your discount.
